I placed an order with them over a year ago. They still have not fulfilled the order in full. I have multiple problems with their installation and they still have not provided window screens. They have been paid in full and their manager John is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend them.

Installed a glass shower door that dragged. It’s impossible to open unless you’ve got serious arm strength. Took forever to come out and adjust it. Said they needed another part to fix the issue, never came back or returned our calls. We have spent almost 2 years trying to get them to come back and fix the issue. I would never use them again for anything in our home.

I wouldnt hesitate to encourage you to get a bid for windows from USI if youre in the market for new windows or replacing existing windows. I had a couple of family friends recommend we go and check them out after receiving bids from other window companies. We were in the market to replace the existing windows in our home. We worked with Hector. His knowledge of the industry was deep and he did a great job of educating us on windows and the differences between how theyre made. He was very kind and not your typical pushy salesman. He did a great job of understanding our needs and helped us select the windows that would give us the most value for the money spent. The best part is his bid came in under the lowest bid we received from the competitors and they were a better window and frame. You cant beat that. Lastly, he was very transparent during the entire process which I really appreciated. There werent any pricing games. I guess when you come in the lowest with a quality product you dont need to play games. Go check USI if you need windows (new or replaced). You wont be disappointed.

I am underwhelmed with this company and the way it stands behind its products. Our home is two years old. The sliding screen on our patio door has never functioned properly. The boy who installed it openly informed me that the door was made too large to fit the opening. At the time it was winter and had other worries and didn’t bother with it. It has popped off the tracks yet again, so I finally called All Purpose Windows (the company from which we purchased all of our windows). They scoffed that I would call ‘two whole years’ later. They do not warranty any product beyond a year. They offered fo make me a properly fitting screen for an exorbitant fee of a minimum of $250. They would not even come and look at it for any less than $85. The final insult came when they contacted me to pay the $85 in advance with my credit card over the phone prior to providing any service. I sincerely do not believe I have ever dealt with a company that treats their customers this poorly and shamelessly refuses to stand behind their products. Last I checked, screen doors don’t grow. As a side note-they informed me they don’t even cover window cracks beyond a year. You won’t have to look far to do better. If you are building, I would be certain your builder does not use this supplier.

Called for an estimate on my custom windows for possible replacement. The appointment was set. I got a courtesy call the night before they came.Rusty the salesperson came to do the estimate. He was respectful and professional. He even took off his shoes! Thank you.He offered his honest opinion, educated me and gave the best recommendation. Make sure you ask for Rusty.

In the beginning, late March, early April, during the honeymoon phase of the process, we were thrilled working with our USI sales rep. In the beginning, our thoughts - my wife and I - were positive as the Therma-Tru double entry door system and the window installation fell into place during the critical path of production. The window install went mostly well, but the level of communication shortcomings became the advent of our frustration.And, here is why! With the entry door system delivered and installed, the major problem became evident: an incorrect mortise - AKA door shop parlance- as DRILL AND DAP, another term for mortise or rout. Because of this oversight, to wit, an incorrect mortise, the security locking system could not be installed. Therefore, the active door needed replacement. Likewise, the fixed door with an astragal was bored incorrectly, also needing replacement; moreover, the door was painted poorly and became another complaint on our behalf.Subsequent to the above, we stopped communicating with our sales rep because after providing all the door system locking hardware, because he or the door shop failed to provide the due diligence needed to correctly, drill and dap, the door stiles. My wife and I provided our rep at USI with the security lock manufacturer template to be followed to adapt the doors to accommodate the security lock system appropriately. This oversight then became my argument with USI regarding the active door mortise and the fixed door boring hole problems.At this time, we are in early May 2020, when we began working with the Salt Lake City USI manager whose name I will not reveal expressed concern offering three choices to resolve the problem. Of the three options, we elected to have the doors replaced. This manager was cordial, indicating the turn around was two weeks to get our replacement doors. My wife hand-carried the door hardware template to USI to establish a level of certainty that they, USI, had what they needed to get the mortise correctly routed and the handle-set boring correct this time.Attempting to reach the manager at USI, SLC with voice mail, texts, and emails, he did respond tepidly but still nothing conclusive in terms of the delivery date. Finally, after eight weeks, the doors arrive a day after the fourth of July weekend, with Tyler doing a great install and smoothing over the shortcomings from the USI Salt Lake City staff. Consequently, this delivery date, I give no credit to the local folks at USI. But this is not the end of the story.My displeasure with the USI SLC Group motivated me to provide literature research whereby I discovered the USI team leader in our demographics, a gentleman with knowledge and power. Enter Nick King! team leader for our demographics. I worked closely and well with Nick and put him in high regard. Nick immediately committed to an install date approximately four days after speaking with him. Kudos to Nick King, moving me to elevate a likely 1-star review based on my experience with the local sales rep and his manager, failing in our understanding and expectation of the service we expected, wanted and needed to complete this protracted mediation, to a three-star review.Kindly,Dennis & Joanne Brunetti

These guys installed my windows on my brand new home just over 4 years ago. One is now leaking. Ive been calling for 2 weeks now. First answer is Oh, we dont do that. Finally talked to either an owner or the manager, John, who said, Sure, we can come take a look. He was supposed to call me back an hour later. Now nobody will even take my calls. **Update...After calling and calling for 3 days, I finally got through again to a person yesterday. Cameron said hed come take a look as a favor and would call back the next day to schedule a visit. Guess who never called? Yes, my windows look great, until it started raining into my house. These guys sure dont back up their work. Think twice.

I cannot express how pleased we are! These guys (three of them) showed up about 10 am and stayed until 730pm. They replaced 9 or so windows plus the sliding door. They placed protection on our floors while they were in and out (although our floors currently suck!) so they didn’t damage our flooring/carpets with the wet from the snow. They vacuumed all the dust and what not - cleaning up after themselves.They were all respectful and went above and beyond- for sure. We had some rotted wood outside from where our sprinkling system hit the house that they fixed at no additional charge. Not saying they will do this for everyone, but I was pleased they offered and helped. I wish we were able to tip them more, because they certainly deserved it. I hope they don’t think we were cheap!It was so cold outside but they kept going like it was 80 degrees! They were fast, efficient, effective and more importantly affordable for our budget. I’m sure they aren’t looking forward to our huge windows in the front of the house but when we are ready, we will hire them for those also. The only thing I wish they would have done was take 30 for a lunch break. These guys worked all the way though their lunch time to complete our windows in an extremely timely manner. I would totally recommend these guys if you are looking for an update or remodel to your home.

Quick to send out someone to do an estimate to add an egress window to my basement. However, when the agreement was signed and the deposit sent, the headache began. A week after my deposit check had cleared, I had not heard anything from a technician to schedule a time to get official measurements. Upon reaching out to the estimator, I was told there was a form that needed to be signed first . Immediately signed and sent the form back. Three days later, still hadnt heard anything. Again had to reach out to the estimator to get answers, and was told he contacted the office to expedite the measuring. Tech came the next day and acted like he hadnt even looked at the signed agreement. He was shocked they would have to cut through the foundation in the basement, to do the window, and essentially told me the estimator didnt know what he was doing. Two days later, a full 2 weeks since my deposit check cleared the bank, got a call from the estimator letting me know that he thought it was framing they would be cutting through, not cement, and he didnt account for that in the quoted price . And that I would need to find a concrete cutter to do that part. Having no confidence left in this company or their ability to do a specialized job, as their website claims, I requested a refund of my deposit, to which he agreed. Now, 10 days after requesting a refund, it has not been received, I dont have a window, and I am starting over looking for a company to do the job. Wasted my time and money . Avoid them at all costs!

Window quality is good, installers seemed to do a good job considering installed in challenging snowy weather. I had some communication problems with company that were ultimately resolved mostly to our satisfaction.

Called online to ask some questions, and see if they could help. They recommended some things for me to consider buying, which I ended up purchasing for 3 of my windows. Appointment was made and had no problems with communicating with the workers and customer service. Excellent job and windows for a great price.

I have never had a more frustrating experience with a sub-contractor. I got a bid in August and placed a small order for 3 shower doors. I was promised that the order would be in within a week and a half and my installation would be scheduled at that time. Two weeks later I hadnt heard from them so I called and left a message every day for a week with no response. Finally he called me back to tell me he had forgotten to place my order, I should have fired him then but, regretfully, I gave him a second chance as he was fairly apologetic.He placed the order that day and the process began again. He promised theyd arrive in a week. I spent THREE more weeks trying to get a hold of him with no luck. FINALLY yesterday he called me back and they are installing the doors today...It is November!!!!! When the installers arrived I expressed my frustration and they said Almost every customer weve serviced recently has shared your complaint. That is ridiculous!I will Never use this company again, and I suggest the same for others as they are extremely unresponsive.

Scheduled an appointment to fix a door, they called an hour before and canclelled. Rescheduled appointment. I didn’t get a reminder call and forgot about the appointment so we rescheduled. On the next appointment they didn’t show up. I called at the time of the appointment to remind them and they said the guy was probably on his way. I called a half hour later and they said they couldn’t get a hold of their guy and then they blamed me and said it was my fault since we didn’t meet up the week before. Horrible customer service. They cancelled the first appointment, didn’t call to remind me of the second, didn’t show up to the third and then blamed me for everything. My homebuilder said they were supposed to contact me to drop off a new door handle but haven’t heard from them. Bad experience. I recommend going somewhere else to buy doors.

When I called them up, they were very easy to work with and set up a perfect time to install my door. They showed up on time and were done in no time! I am very impressed with service and recommend.

Dan blew off the first meeting to measure for 2 replacement windows. Showed up to the 2nd. (Extra time off work for me) Installers came to put new windows in. and the windows were too small. They had to put the old, now really cracked, ones back in. Came back a week later with the right windows. (Again, extra time off work for me) The installers were great and apologetic for the mistake, which was not theirs at all.When I asked for a little compensation for my time all I got were excuses. I even gave Dan the opportunity to accept responsibility (which I would have been satisfied with) and he continued to blame the manufacturer. I told him the measurements on the invoice were wrong and he tried to tell me I would only see the measurements for the exposed glass. He adds 1 for what is behind the trim on the order to the manufacturer. Well, after reviewing the invoice again I discovered that the width written on my invoice is the width for the entire piece of glass, including what you cant see. The length is 1 short.Is it too much to ask for people to accept and admit their mistakes?Find another glass company.

Could not be happier! Everything was installed on time and exactly as promised. Sales process was great. After being forced to sit thought a 2 hour high pressure sales pitch with Renewal by Andersen and Champion, These guys were a breath of fresh air.

Terrible customer service. I called three times for a bid to replace a window which All Purpose installed 3 years ago and mysteriously broke for no reason. USI informed me they would not warranty the glass, but they gave me a bid of $952 to replace it. After waiting another week for the service rep to call me back, he informs me that he cant do it. Incredibly frustrating! I understand that All Purpose was acquired by USI, but ever since that merger the customer service has gone to hell. Dont waste your time with this company.

Extremely frustrating. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate on Tuesday for Saturday afternoon. Rearranged my entire Saturday to be home for the estimate and nobody shows and when I call they say I dont have an appointment. Completely wasted my time and couldnt have cared less!
