My apprenticeship has an agreement with the state that we go onto unemployment for a week while were in school and then return to work, ending the benefits until our next week of school 6-8 weeks later. I have never had an on time payment from unemployment, even sometimes being denied payment despite filing correctly on my school weeks. In the mean time, i still have a family to feed and bills to pay. Calling them is useless because youll end up on hold for the whole day just to be told they cant help you. The online chat is often disabled. If you go into a building youll just be told to call or use the chat feature. Im sure they get paid on time. Why cant i?

I thank all of you for your hard work hire me and I’ll help out. Something is wrong with your system because it doesn’t allow me to add jobs one week then the next it does now your saying I wasn’t willing and able to work??? Come on call me please and help I’ve been waiting 6 weeks if something doesn’t happen I’ll be another statistic of why the system is messed up help. But I do appreciate your hard work I really do but half these people are eligible to be trained to help hire us ya let’s find a solution give us jobs

I received 2 payments then it stopped due to some sort of verification. Its been 6 weeks now since I received any payment. Wait 5 hours on hold to speak to the same representative that says I just have to wait. No date as to when I will be back paid. No other information to be provided to me. Its incredible that they can do this to me and reading the comments here Im not the only one this is happening to. They are really messing with peoples lives right now. Im scared. Good luck to you all.

I understand that they are busy with what’s going on at these times and it’s not the employees themselves that are bad. But to disable the chat option, email, and close the building only relying on phone calls is BS. You have to start calling an hour before they open for any hope to get placed on hold to speak to someone and if the call drops your SOL cause you can’t get back on the waiting list the rest of the day..

I know that the claims have been messed up and extended but the people from this office have been nothing but kind and patient with me during all this. Yes it is annoying to get through and it takes forever but the people on the other end of the phone have been really helpful when I have a million questions for me and my staff during this time. I am appreciative to be receiving these benefits. Tell them thank you when youre done because they are dealing with about 10x the normal call volume they usually get and didnt get to immediately hire extra people to help like a store would! NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE A GLOBAL PANDEMIC SO BE KIND TO THE PEOPLE TRYING TO HELP YOU EVEN IF THEY DONT HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS!

Awful! Customer service is not their middle name! Here we are now in September during this pandemic and theyre still ignoring the phones and chat! Complete joke! McDonalds offers better service than that! I think since they were allowed to ignore the public from the very beginning theyre just doing it purposely because they were allowed it before! Complete incompetence!!!!!

Wont answer your call, if so they send you to another line.....that doesnt answer! On hold for 2 hour + with Covid and supper ill!

Absolutely impossible to get a hold of somebody. I understand thing the whole pandemic but this system flat out doesnt work. Havent received a single payment and cant address issue with claim. Terrible service.

Nothing short but just complete incompetence. Got an issue with my claim and its been a nightmare trying to get it solved. Applied in the middle of March its now May 18th and I have not received a single penny in unemployment and they have been giving me the runaround. Chat feature is useless as it takes hours to get to talk somebody and then they cant even look up your account anyway. And apparently they dont believe in phones anymore so you cant talk to anybody. with the amount of issues at this place has had I would not be surprised theres a class action lawsuit soon against them and I will gladly join in.

Good lord i dont even know where to start. I understand that covid has caused issues. But my claim has been on hold for about 6 weeks only to get denied due to reasons completely unrelated to my last job (said i left due to work place conditions, but i had left due to covid closing the building and the inability to work from home) and i have tried to call them almost every day those few weeks only to get the automated message of call volume being too high please call at a later time, goodbye. I have called them about 40+ times and only ONCE got connected for 4 minutes just to be told roundabout answers and not letting me talk to the claim representative working my case. These people screw over lives and dont even bother to help at all. Absolute dumpster fire of service.

Hi, my husband was laid off due to covid back in September. I just had a baby and we’re in need of assistance. He applied for unemployment then but we have still not heard back on if we’ll be able to receive help despite multiple attempts.

I was getting my unemployment and then it just stopped. I call and i either get hung up on or the rude people that answer the phone sit there and tell me that there is nothing they can do wait 4 to 6 weeks Ive waited and nothing not an email phone call NOTHING. Ive called 7 times and never get a freaken answer im broke single mom 3 kids and all they are doing is making me go in more debt cause i have to get loans its ridiculous. Worked for my company 9 years says i still am eligible but nothing else and nothing since June 10

OMG!! I waited 3 hours to speak with someone. Finally he answered the phone and he said hello hello I can’t hear you and hang up the phone. He didn’t wait for one minutes. Thanks for making my day so stressful.

Was emailed to call in, but every time I call ( 6 different days and times) I always get the same result that they are too busy and then the call hangs up.

Was referred to online chat due to high call volume and hung up on. Online chat told me to call the office due to high traffic. Dumpster fire.

Tried to reach out regarding my claim, the call is ended even after requesting to speak with someone, and the chat feature is disabled, thanks for making a stressful situation worse, if I can eventually speak with someone, I will update this review, until then.
