Always there for a helping hand. Such wonderful people.
Horrible customer service for such an easy task! 2 hrs later.. still haven’t received my order. If I could give a zero star rating I would.
No one should say anything bad... The church serves so many people of all faiths and its free.. Im so grateful for all the do.... They literally have save my LIFE... God bless them and thank you
Great service and great prices!
I was honored to get up early on a Tuesday and go and volunteer my time to help serve in the Bishops Storehouse. The others were all very kind, happy and so very helpful.I was contented when it was time to go knowing I had helped many who really needed help with good and household stuff. Thanks Bishops Storehouse for the opportunity to serve.
We were blessed to be able to pick up a bishops food order there. It is clean, constantly being stocked and has very helpful volunteers there as well as missionaries to help you. There is so much produce, frozen foods, dairy and packaged and canned foods, as well as personal and household needs according to your order. Usually, you can be out of there under an hour. The parking is directly out in front.
I was belittled by an elder there. So humiliating. Made me so sad . I just cryed . Hope that person remembers his manners SOME DAY. And it was a time of great need.
A dairy, a canning facility a thrift store, a grain mill and a the bishops storehouse (grocery store)... thats all part of welfare square. A great program established to help people in need. Learn more about it and the specifics with the free tour they give.
A great work and charity that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints provides
Nice, clean, visited for food storage site. The storehouse itself is always well organized, quality products throughout!
Wonderful place.. Wonderful people... As always friendly and helpful people... Im very grateful for these people and a store like this.... I love Bishop Briscoe, My Missionaries Blake & Tammy Wade... Right hand man Brother Steven Adelson..... Thank you...
Wonderful to have the help; decent selection; generous. But dependent on plastic bags and quality of many products is quite low. Meats are tough with lots of gristle, eggs are always medium size, ice cream is gooey. Rice is poor quality, canned veggies too soft. But chicken is great, instant potatoes unbeatable, new dried refried beans, granola, honey, peanut butter, and beef gravy are fantastic and so is the canned fruit. Love having fresh produce! Helpers are dedicated and friendly; place is clean and well organized. Adequate parking. Remember you must have a food order from a local bishop and then all is free.
Friendly volunteers! Organized and wonderful. Its very clean. You dont feel awkward, they help you feel comfortable. They help a wide variety of people, all with good attitudes.
I was treated with deep respect, love and care. That doesnt happen to me often..
So amazed by how easy it is to pick up an order. Great job from everyone working there
Great people who want to help no matter who you are. There is a Storehouse, DI, a building for help with getting ready and getting a job if you need the help. Ask a Missionary to help or if your in need.
Always helpful have patience for older people quality Goods to help out nothing but a blessing
The nicest people you could ever meet. So kind and ❤
The Bishop Storehouse was very excellent to me and my family. Thank you for your help.
We are so grateful for the bishop store house. The volunteers are so kind and loving. Ask about the tour. Its fun
Nicely manage by the elders and sisters who place you on a wait list so friendly
Was unwilling to help us during this pandemic so much for the church being there for the people
This place really helps people who are in need... They are wonderful people
Nice and clean and everyone is friendly and nice. Great for doing service if you have extra time. Goes to a great cause, families.
Great blessing for those in need.
This place is helpful for the poor who get food orders from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The people are friendly and helpful. Also some where at that site is a transient resource center. It is a real blessing to have this place in our community.
If you need help with food or clothing you usually can get help here. Although if youre not LDS you do get disapproving attitude from those that write the vouchers, which I was surprised because you would think they would be more welcoming. Volunteers are very nice and the selection is decent. The DI near here doesnt have a lot to choose from compared to other stores even though I was advised the opposite I think because its for homeless people to go there for help.
Very good people and good food
Also loved being in this building because it is clean along with all of the other LDS Church buildings.
These guys helped me out so much beautiful people got me to Colorado and my mom is dying and bought me a bus ticket love these people
Great tour. loved seeing the process of the lds churches food assistance
Very helpful to folks who are down on their luck. Volunteer there and experience the joy helping your brothers and sister who need a helping hand. Great opportunity
I appreciate all the goodness i recieve and appreciate having this available in times of need
A great place to get help when youre in need
Very Blessed With The Most Quality Food Than Any Store In Salt Lake. I Am Not LDS But The Church Has Helped Me Several Times. I Respect The Church For Being There For Me
The people who volunteer and the missionaries are so sweet. They have helped me when I was very sick. Thank you for all your kindness 💖
Why isnt there an option for a ZERO? I WOULD HAVE PUT NEGATIVES ON THERE.Not one time did they solve the HUNGER CRISIS in my town. THEY ALWAYS DIFFER YOU TO THE CATHOLIC SOUP KITCHEN. WHICH IS LAME WHEN WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LDS....ESPECIALLY IF YOU WENT TO THE LDS TEMPLE FOR 5 YEARS!
Always love all the fresh veggies & fruit - aides very helpful
5 stars for what they do here. Not sure if this is the right place to post this review but we took the tour of everything and one of the missionaries (girl from France) was rude. I guess it comes with being French but the Brazilian girl was very friendly and nice. Was going to donate some cash at the end of the tour but that left a sour taste in my mouth.
...perhaps a select few of the volunteers could use a little help in the area of hospitality, friendliness or customer service, as we are to treat others the way we want to be treated... However, we cant ever be sure where everyone is coming from, whats going on in their lives, or if theyve had a really rough day... So I give them all credit for being there to help people in need!! I love the Church, and I love my heavenly father! Amen.
Great place
Fabulous! Whats especially moving about Welfare Square is its history & its purpose, which both deserve research, and participation in the tours offered.
Everyone was wonderful. It was so great. Clean and very organized.

Super affordable and such a blessing to have it so close!
A great place and people are very helpful.
A great tour describing how the LDS Church welfare system works. A hand up not a hand out. Yes, you are required to work for what you receive with the goal being self sufficiency. Wish our government was as wise.
Always very pleasant people and such a helpful service to so many
Such a wonderous place where angels attend to your needs.
I thank you for your kindness and your helpfulness where I am going through cancer its greatly appreciated
A very friendly and helpful place. The supplies for the needy that are offered are extraordinarily high in quality. Amazing things the LDS Church does for people!
They have good food and the staff makes me feel welcome given the circumstances.
They will always take care of family
If youre down on your luck, you can visit with your local Mormon bishop, get a food order, then get it filled at the bishops storehouse. Its a small grocery store where you give them your food order at checkout instead of cash. Its the Mormon way of giving back to the community and helping those in need.
Locals are known to this store. They help those who are in need and everything else. Love UTAH
