DCFS is a joke. They say they care for the children but they dont. They really dont.

I have to laugh because two of these ‘reviews‘ are by people who work there. Boyd Madsen is the supervisor. The department is big into reviewing itself Frankly, they are out of touch bureaucrats, often without any kids of their own, following flow charts and checking off boxes. I have almost two years experience working with them as a foster parent. They do such a poor job representing the best interest of the children that the State of Utah had to create a separate office, The Guardian ad Litem, to represent the kids in court, often against the DCFS.

I feel like theres a lot of fear and uncertainty surrounding DCFS. My experience with them was very positive. It was a sticky situation to be in and they helped guide my little family through it.
