I just saw the posted review from P Lilly. Interesting... We listed my in-laws home of 46 years with Curtis. Our experience was the EXACTLY opposite of the experience P Lilly had.He offered advice, never insisting, and once he had explained the strategy and systems behind the scenes we got on board.Realize, because my we had family trust, he had 4 decision makers involved. He explained the process to each and made sure he answered any questions we had thoroughly. While the process was far from flawless, what does go flawless? Is it when it involves the home where love, care, hopes, memories and dreams of almost half a century are embodied? No. We were able to be involved in the process at every step and he used his experiences and knowledge combined with compassion, to explain it to us all clearly. That was just on our side of the transaction. We sold the home, worked through title, closing and we received the best price for the home within the first 7 days. Everything was finalized with in 35 days. Dont get me wrong, I would have LOVED to sell it for more. But somewhere between reality and hyper-expectations is where it ended. The family was pleased, the buyers were pleased and the real estate professionals made a living. If I were selling my home, today, I would use Curtis without reservation.By the way Curtis, thank you for your help and understanding.Matt
My Cottonwood Heights home should have sold in one day. In this market there should have been at lease 30 offers in one day. Curtis Pons using his magical auction ran twice obtained 1 low ball offer after three weeks. The auction is a SCAM. It is a way to get home buyer to accept a low ball offer. Who would benefit from selling my home with an excusive Auction. I think that would be someone who got an exclusive bargain on a very very nice home. One low ball offer and no competition, that sure does seem strange.Curtis did not personally show my house even one time. Under pricing the home was a waste the time of all the legitimate agents and potential buyers who could not afford the home.Curtis doctored the buyer broker Cancelation agreement to make sure I was locked in to paying his full commission if I sold or rented the property within 6 months after the listing. He was attempting to deceive me again with this document. Glad I took it to an attorney,Curtis agreed to do an open house if we allowed him to put the house through the second auction. This is after so many serious issues came up. Curtis simply didnt hold that promised open house, claiming he was too busy. I do not believe one word Curtis has to say. This is my personal experience.Curtis Pons also told me I needed pay $2,000 upfront to have the professionally staged. The house was already house staged. I said no. He claimed it would make the sellers more interested. The number of showing Curtis claims to have scheduled was highly execrated and Curtis could not produce a list of people who actually saw my house. Therefore, I would not know who I would have to pay Curtis 6 months protection period commission with 6% commission. Lucky for me, I have security cameras that proved his claims were untrue.Curtis required my WIFI password. Then sat at my dining table for 3 hours working on his computer. I thought he was creating the listing agreement. But then it took 2 days for that agreement to show up on the mls. I had to ask him several times to post it.It sure seemed like Cutis did not want to sell my house at all. Requiring me to go to the house to show the house when the doors were locked or the key went missing. The second time I tried to cancel the listing, I sent him a formal Termination letter. His response was that he had to agree to release me from the listing. In order to get me to list with him in the first place Curtis Pons verbally guaranteed that if after 1 auction he would completely release me from the listing agreement. Well that didnt happen. So...I went to his broker when she heard this story and said she would release me right away. That was on Friday morning. It wasnt until Monday morning before I got a legit release of Seller Broker Agreement. Then it wasnt until Tuesday before I could get the broker to remove the listing from the MLS.It appears to me that he was holding me hostage by refusing to cancel the listing agreement. Then use it as click bait to get leads for other buyers and sellers.Curtis pons made it get really ugly requiring me to contact an attorney and file a complaints with his broker and the Utah Board of realtors. Save yourself. RUN from this any entanglement with Curtis Pons.
Curtis Pons is THE best realtor out there. His knowledge of the industry and past experience as a contractor makes him an invaluable asset. It was mine and my boyfriends first time buying a home and he made it as stress free and pleasant as possible. He truly cares about putting you in a safe home and a good investment and his negotiation skills are outstanding. I probably told him that he was a “magic man” at least 30 times. If you’re looking for a realtor, Curtis is your guy!
Curtis has done a great job. The photographs were beautiful. The home was listed and sold with a full price offer in under 24 hours. He clearly had a handle on the best way to present our property. Thanks for a job well done.
I first met Curtis when he was selling a house around the road from our home. He was extremely helpful and I instantly thought if we were to ever sell our house we must use this man. Fortunately, Curtis happened to be a half cost realtor and when the time did come and we did put our house on the market we called him immediately. He has been an absolute gem. He was honest and fair. Everything went extremely fast and smoothly. Electronic signing was very easy and his title company was great. We were very pleased with the results. He did sell our house, he was extremely prompt with returning phone calls which meant a lot to us. His negotiation skills are phenomenal and got us the money we needed for it and only charged us half commission on his end. We are forever grateful for that. Since then, he has helped us purchase a new home and is now a dear friend of ours. We absolutely adore him and I am putting this review out to let you know that you will not be disappointed if you need a good realtor to help you.Belinda Mastin
I highly recommend Curtis if you need a realtor.1 - Hes the best negotiator Ive ever met. Youll be in awe at the things he can negotiate into your contract.2 - His expertise as a general contractor is invaluable in the home buying/selling process. He really knows his stuff.3 - You only pay half of what youd normally pay to other agents.4 - Hes a genuinely nice guy.
Half cost? Sounds too good to be true, but not this time! Curtis is not only legit, hes great at what he does, very professional, and super in-tune with client and customer needs and experience. Highly recommended!
Curtis is an honest, hard working guy. He brings far more value to the table over most other agents. He is a builder, realtor and skilled appraiser. With extensive remodeling experience, Curtis can help his clients understand the condition of the home and options on how to modify and upgrade their home to make it amazing. With Curtis, you get far more for far less!
I would highly recommend Curtis to anyone wanting to buy or sell there home.He is a seasoned pro and knows his stuff. And plus who doesn’t want to save money 💰 😊
Curtis is the perfect realtor because he also is a general contractor. It was incredibly helpful to have this additional expertise as we were looking at homes because he was able to spot structural problems, or if it was a cheap remodel that would cost us a lot of money down the road. He was also able to give me an idea of cost if I was curious about remodeling a portion of a home. He is an excellent negotiator as well. Once I finally found the home I wanted to make an offer on, not only was he able to negotiate a good price, but he also saved me thousands of dollars by negotiating with the seller to place blinds in all the windows, put up a fence in the back yard, and fix several other things in the home. I have used Curtis for two purchases and two home sales and have been happy with him each time. Its amazing that this high quality realtor is offering his services for half price!Give Curtis a call. You wont be disappointed!Denise Westover
Curtis knows homes. He was in the Home remodel business as a general contractor for many years. His knowledge is invaluable when it comes to finding you a home or selling yours. And this comes at half the cost that a normal realtor charges. I highly recommend talking with Curtis when it comes to buying or selling a home.
Great guy to work with. Very helpful and very professional. 100% recommendation.
Curtis Pons is a fantastic realtor who I would recommend to anyone! He really cares about you as an individual and does all he can to help.
I’ve used him twice. He understands home construction and what it takes to sell a house, so he’ll do more than just list your house like most agents.
Curtis is honest and works real hard
