We have a bi-weekly plan that started in the middle of August and they havent shown up on time yet. We get the yard maintained every 3 to 4 weeks at most. If we didnt have to use them we wouldnt. The first two times they didnt show up on time some generic email went out but after that they stopped communicating. The plus is they are great about communication when it comes to them being paid so theres that. Were looking into other options and the sooner we can stop using them the better.
This company is an absolute sham. They told me they would have my yard done between 9/1-9/5 and they didn’t so I called on 9/6 and they told me they didn’t even have a contractor in my area which was NOT disclosed to me when they asked me to sign up for service. They said they would find a contractor as soon as possible. The next two days I hear nothing so I called again. The second rep told me getting a contractor would take 7 business days to find, and I said that’s too long you told me service would be provided over a week ago and now you want me to wait another week. He told me he couldn’t do anything more for me and hung up on me! I sent all this information via email to the home office. They responded several days later apologizing and promising to have someone out by today, 9/14. No one came and I logged into my profile to see my appointment was cancelled. Called customer service again and he says it was cancelled because (you guessed it) THEY STILL HAVENT FOUND A CONTRACTOR. The customer service rep then proceeded to inform me that there’s no guarantee they ever will find a contractor and that I should move on and seek business elsewhere. Don’t worry, buddy, I will. No one should EVER use this service and they need to be investigated by the Better Business Bureau (which I’m reporting them to).
The initial agreement was to have service performed twice a month for a fee of $95 a month. In the time this was established I had service twice the initial month and 1 time the second month but was charged the full $95. After calling in they acknowledged that they didnt provide the second service and would give me 40% off the next service but made no attempt to get anyone out to perform the service. So, I called back and asked for a complete refund and then they told me they charge by each individual service which wouldve been at a rate of $95. I cancelled the service. They didnt show any real concern that my yard hadnt been serviced nor offer to expedite the service to get it performed soon. Im new to the area and thought this company would be good since invitation homes recommended them but Im sadly mistaken. So far this is my worse experience with a lawn service and wouldnt recommend this company if you genuinely have concern for your yard and your money.
The contractors do a good job, aside from the problems with scheduling. It’s fairly consistent that it won’t be done as scheduled, but they do communicate well and the work they do is excellent and it’s always cleaned up nicely after they are done. I’ve also had them do aeration and clean up in the spring and fall. I’ve had a lot more problems with other lawn services, and task easy is the best which is why I keep using them.
The customer service is not reliable after calling several times because they overcharged me which took a month. The contractor didnt show up and the one before did poor work. I do not recommend them to anyone. They also get upset when you skip service, but Im not paying for services I dont need. My experience with them started put great but ended poorly. I cancelled because I couldnt handle this dishonest business.
Ive used them for years never had an issue until now. They increased the prices and more often. The customer service is awful no one knows whats going on. Being hung up on constantly. Then the contractors dont show up or do a horrible job. They have so many excuses as to why everything is wrong. I highly recommend going elsewhere.
This service used to be very reliable, but lately they never arrive on the first scheduled date. They once had to reschedule three times, pushing out the service date by almost two weeks. It has gotten so bad that I have considered switching to another service more than once.
Cut grass fine. They were a day late without prior notice. I wondered when I got home why my yard hadnt been cut but later that evening I got an email stating that they would be out the following day so that was fine.
If you need your lawn mowed, I would not trust them to do the job. I used them for maybe 2 months so far. At first, they would be a little late and have to reschedule the service by a day or 2. Lately, they just do not ever show up at all. I have now had my service rescheduled 3 times over the span of about 3 weeks. So it’s been over a month since my yard was actually mowed. Every time, I reach out to TaskEasy and they tell me they talked with the contractors and promise they’ll be out. Every time, they don’t show up. I’ve called twice today and they even said theyi promise they will be here by 5pm. It’s 6pm now and still no sign of them. Looking like this will be the 4th time in a row they will need to reschedule, and not just by a couple days, this has gone on for weeks. Totally unreliable.Edit: I see the response from the owner and can’t reply, so I will add it in an edit. I have called the number you provided every time my service was rescheduled. I received the same scripted responses every time filled with empty promises. You know my issues and you have records of my case files from my call. If you want to make it right, that’s on you, because I am not wasting my time any longer, only to be lied to.

After 2 months of, yet again, receiving sub-par or no service from this contractor, my services have been terminated with no explanation and my lawns are severly overgrown for the 2nd time in 3 months this season, and being fined by the HOA the first time this happened back in June. This is also despite the fact that I have made multiple email attempts to warn them my lawns were becoming overgrown due to sub-par and lack of services. Their responses were to repeatedly send me emails with appologies and promises for scheduled service dates right up to last week of Sept 6-10. Yet on Sat Sept 11th they sent an automated email stating they have terminated my service, without explanation. When I called to find out what was going on I was told that I should try contacting others in my area for service and there was no further information on why my service was terminated, but someone will call me back in 24-48hrs. Problem is there are no contractors with availability in my area because they all have full calanders for the season. I know this because I already contacted everyone in my area back in June, the first time this happened. Additionally I am not able to perform this kind of work myself or I would have already taken care of the matter. Someone from this company needs to make this situation right Again!To those looking to contract with the company...read the negative reviews.UPDATE: I have a bi-weekly service account in which they are to provide mowing, edging, trimming, blowing and pruning of bushes. I received 1 partial service in May were contractors did not mow and the fix request was never done. My June service was repeatedly re-scheduled multiple times and combined with the poor May service resulted in overgrown lawns that Taskeasy had to pay to fix. So that was 1 service visit for June. The contractor who serviced in July was on site for 21min from parking the truck, taking pics, loading and unloading equipment and only serviced the front yard. The fix request for service on the backyard got this response Aug 1st At this time he will not go back to the property to complete the service. I received 1 service visit in mid Aug and requested a fix it because the contractors mower did not cut the grass and only ran over it it forcing it to lay down. I even sent pics, taken 2hrs after the visit, showing uncut lawns. No fix it or bi-weekly visit was ever done. I have sent multiple emails in Aug & Sept requesting service and warning that my lawns were becoming overgrown. Those emails promised me service dates that were rescheduled multple times. Which has been the same problem every month with 4 or 5 reschedules done each month resulting in only 1 visit per month.Yet Taskeasy response to these issues is... Sept 14th emailI have found out due to the last four services, all being rejected. Someone from TaskEasy attempted to reach you to see how we could correct the situation(s). Unfortunately, we could not get a hold of you. The services were canceled to keep our scheduling from sending another vendor to service, until we had clear expectations. This avoids any more confusion. There will be an agent that will call you today to assist you in creating clearer expectations. We would like to service your property using the package you had chosen.FINAL RESULTS: At the same time I received the above email I also received VM stating my contract has been terminated because of multiple rejections, (Sept 14th). Yet I have an auto email from Thur Sept 9th stating We noticed that your task does not seem to be completed yet today. We are already following up with your contractor to see what happened. For service re-schedule for Sept 8th, another task not done auto email on Sept 6th for re-scheduled Sept 5th services, task not done auto email on Sept 3rd for Sept 2nd services and multiple additional emails exchanges from Aug & Sept wanting to know when I would be receiving service and warning them about grown lawns, AGAIN, but remember according to their email they were trying to contact me.
I have been using this service without problems for a few years but beginning this year they switched my contractor and I have had problems ever since. I constantly had to call to get a contractor to my house so I changed to a new company that charges a third less. Also one contractor damaged my siding a month ago and Im still waiting on claims to pay me for the damage. My problems my be just a local issue with contractors but I hope you dont have the problems I have had.
Task Easy is one of the sorriest lawn companies around. I scheduled a lawn mowing service, but they didnt show up until nearly a week after my scheduled date, to do the job. And to make matters worse, they did a pisspoor job. My lawn was left in an unsightly condition. It was a haphazard job to say the least. I will not be using them again, nor would I recommend their unprofessional service.
I just signed up for service on Saturday I believe, and they were here on Monday, which is amazing! They were fast, efficient and just great. I wish I had found this service sooner.
I ordered their premium lawn care service and they were supposed to come on 4/26. It is now may 10th and they still have not come to service my lawn. I have now had my service rescheduled 8 times and that is not an exaggeration.I was even told The contractor has some other works on this area, so for sure your property will be serviced on Monday, May 3rd.I never leave one star reviews, but I cannot think of a company that is more deserving than Taskeasy. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Mario did a great job on mulching. He put down a generous amount of brown mulch and it looks fantastic on the borders!
We signed up for weekly service 6 weeks ago and have had someone show up twice. It was a different contractor both times. Plus they didnt do the work they said they were going to do in the first place. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
Please do not use this company. I scheduled a simple lawn mowing for my property. They scheduled it right away! Then they canceled and rescheduled. Then they canceled and rescheduled that appointment. They did this 5 times. Then they came out and said my lawn was too long and that the $79 fee was now $200. At this point I didnt really have any other options so I agreed. Then they rescheduled. I canceled the service. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I used this company for 3 years and their service is starting to decline. They are constantly rescheduling and once they even tried to charge an overgrowth fee, which I refused to pay, after all they kept rescheduling. I am moving and will not take their service with me. Looking for a consistent contractor.

After taskeasy cancelled/rescheduled the 5th time, I called to ask what the challenge is obstructing the contractors from servicing my yard. The individual I spoke with stated the mowers were too busy to reach my house. (5 times) I asked if I could speak with any leader or manager to discuss what could be done. I was told no managers were available.We have already paid and I feel like they are just jerking us around. They keep saying the next time is certain. Ill keep this updated as the journey unfolds.

Ive used TaskEasy twice now. First time I didnt have any issues.The second time I got rescheduled 4 times. First day they kept telling us someone was on their way every time I called and they never showed up, second day they rescheduled due to rain and told us someone would be at our house the next morning. The next morning (day 3) came and went and no one showed up so I called multiple times to check on the status and each time I was guaranteed someone was on their way. No one ever showed up. Day 4 (more than a week after the initially scheduled appointment) someone finally let them self into the yard and left without communicating with me. I then got a call saying they were requesting more funds because my grass was taller than I reported when making the appointment. I told them this wouldnt have been an issue if they would have kept their word and showed up the first scheduled day. They said they would have someone reach out to me asap, this was last week. Im very disappointed with the lack of communication and follow through.I have called multiple times to speak with someone about this and there is never a supervisor or lead available. Im done calling and calling and will just move on to someone else to carry out these services.
The contractors followed OSHA and the CDC guide lines, rules, and regulations due to COVID19. They performed their skills very well and I would like to say a great big thank you. Thank you guys!
We did not have the best experience with Task Easy. They were constantly rescheduling to the point where we did not receive lawn care for an entire month after contractors cancelling last minute or not getting to us before the end of the day. Customer service was great and always trying to help us out, but at the end of the day our lawn wasnt getting cut no matter how nice the people on the other end of the phone were. It was very frustrating and we ended up finding a local business instead.
I physically cant do yard work anymore. No worries through task easy. Took my worries away at a good reasonable price.

This year, they missed mowing after mowing with no communication. Same as you see in the other reviews - Id call after each missed mowing, theyd deliver some scripted customer service language, and nothing would be solved. No way a manager would ever call you back. Time after time, they would assure me they understood my frustration, apologize profusely, and assure me they would rectify the situation (before directly and shamelessly asking me to give them a positive rating in the automated customer satisfaction survey at the end of each call), but my lawn continued to go without mowing. Youre much better off finding a provider yourself, since all TaskEasy has to offer is neglected lawns, poor communication, and unnecessary frustration.
2.5 really, they use to be decent. I have used these guys for three years. They do a great job on the yard. But their consistency is D - at best recently. Their call in customer service is F - at best. If it was possible to go deeper in a letter grade for their phone customer service. I would give an S, for a four letter word I will let you choose. Their phone service has never been great, but over the past few times I have called in, it is awful. They have missed 6 weeks worth of services in a row that they said they would be there and have sent me emails that they would. Of course they come a few days later after I call and complain unannounced. Have no issues with the contractor that cuts my lawn. I have big problems with TaskNotSoEasy. Looking into new service companies now. Sorry the contractor will lose business because the company he partnered with doesn’t care about him or me. Because he doesn’t schedule it, they do with their Routing Optimization Software is what I was told they have.

I love TaskEasy and I have been using them for years. However, over the past six months their lawn care vendors have been unreliable. For example, they had to reschedule a job 3 times with no explanation why. It very frustrating when you inform a tenant that the lawn will get mowed and it doesnt happen and a week goes by rescheduling. If task easy would clean that up, it would be great.
The company is very easy to work with. Their contractors are good and efficient. If you can not take care of your own yard, this company is the best, easiest, and very reasonable alternative. They track their work, take pictures before and after, and always ask for feedback on how the work was performed. I love them.
Convenience is nice because everything is done online. Prices are a bit much for just a cut and I think it would be nice if they would pick up the couple of branches that they just mow over. Just that extra step that goes a long way when it comes to customer satisfaction.They said the grass was over grown in the photo and charged me extra to cut it or change to weekly service.

Ive been happy overrall with the performance, they are easy to order & arrive on time. You can skip a service if needed. This last time however, I paid an extra $25 for weeding the flower beds. This apparently just entails spraying weed killer, which I can buy myself for $7. I still had to go out & pull up all the dead weeds myself & dispose of them. I will choose the basic service in the future & save myself some $$.
Awful experience, the contractors are LAZY and refuse to mow the whole lawn, they dont come when they say they will, and they allow weeds to grow EVERYWHERE! AWFUL SERVICE!!!!
My backyard was overgrown. I work 6 days a week, from morning to night, and my one day off I am always running errands so I have no time to take care of the yard. On top of that, I have a great Dane who isn’t a year old yet, and he destroys everything and drags the insides of the house out to the back yard and I just can not even...my contractor did a wonderful job cutting my yard somehow with all that trash in the back and giant horse-like poop. Of course I got charged extra, very understandable. I’m surprised they just didn’t walk away and decline the work order.Much appreciated! Very satisfied. Very happy. I am happy human. Dog is very happy too.
Price is fine. 36$ weekly for my lawn.Sometimes you get low quality work, they cut the grass but not all. You will see missing spots so obvious. Contacted customer support and I think they didnt pay the contractor or stop doing business with them. This week contractor did a great job. Will update periodically. Customer support is great. Friendly and willing to help.

Area: Elk Grove, CAMy lawn mowing got scheduled within 2 weeks and the contractors showed up on the scheduled date.They mowed my overgrown lawn on the front and back. They took pictures of before and after.The only bad thing is they left without checking with me, but everything looked good, so I didnt mind.
Good business idea, poor execution. They use sub-contractors who routinely over-commit which results in not showing up the day they tell you. Inexpensive, but what does that matter if they dont show when they say? And they did not notify me they were not showing up. I had to call them and cancel after waiting around all day. Not recommended - not reliable.

Multiple times they have stopped mowing my lawn for weeks at a time. I call every day and they say someone is coming the next day and then dont show up. This is now the third time Im going through the cycle with them. They also dont monitor their email address so you have to call them direct and talk to random customer service people that cant help.

A great service if you dont care when someone will be entering your back yard. We have windows without blinds to a private back yard and dogs that have free access to the back yard as well. After several requests to get a Text ahead to let us know they were coming, and then their showing up randomly, often a day early, or a day later than scheduled, we had no choice but to cancel this service to maintain some sort of privacy and safety for our dogs. It also took several attempts to get a shrub trimmed, as they said it would be a custom quote. After a couple months of asking and waiting, I gave up.I will say that the guys were always very polite and the guy that seemed to be the boss, seemed to really try to do his best.
5 weeks no lawn care. Called them twice between expected jobs because they where not telling me why no one had shown up. So not only do they not get the job done they dont communicate with the customer. They take on jobs with out being able to actually provide their listed service.Getting a new contractor today.
I love this service especially the before and after pictures the contractor posted since I am not at the property, I can feel confident the job was to be right. The contractor tbey got for the job was top notch!! Its so easy to order a job via the website and the customer service person was friendly, helpful, and intelligent.Highly recommend this service.

We had a rough start with Task Easy in the very beginning. We were ordering week to week and it was hard to find a contractor that would come out to us in a timely fashion. We live in a rural area with about an acre of land and no one seemed to be able to make the dates.When we finally decided to purchase the season of mowing it was great!The landscapers came on time and did a fantastic job. We now have a regular contractor and he is very diligent and thorough.We will be hiring them back for next spring and summer.
Our yard looked great once we finally received our services. Our services were supposed to happen on Monday and no one showed up. The next day we called and apparently no one was assigned to our home. The next day, still no one arrived. We had to call again to complain until finally someone came on Thursday. If they had reliable services, we would continue with their lawn care services.
Love using TaskEasy. It is so convenient and they always do a great job. I like that you dont have to be home. Another benefit is, you get to approve their services by email before you pay for it. Also, the pricing is reasonable.
There was a heavy rain the night before my scheduled mowing. I wasnt sure that they would be able to mow. They did and boy does the yard look great!!! They cleared away leaves and yard debris and the yard looks terrific. So happy I found Task Easy

Ive used TaskEasy seasonally for the past two years - so easy to set up, choose a date and level of service with no ongoing commitment. The contractors Ive had assigned to me have always done great work, on schedule, (nearly) every time, allowing for some scheduling snafus for weather or holidays like any landscaping business. Exponentially more reliable than the local contractor Id signed on with previously. Big bonus to receive photos of the work when youre out of town. Recommend without hesitation.
I signed up for this through the cub cadet first responder program, I’m a nurse in the ICU and thought this was an awesome program and mowing my lawn would be one less thing to worry about. However, after receiving the confirmation email I then received a job completed email approximately 2-3 days later. No one ever mowed my lawn. Talk about pathetic, if you say you’re going to offer a service to front line care givers, stand behind your word. This ended up being unnecessary frustration during a time when I was looking for some reprieve. Epic failure.

The contractor has turned a fairly shabby yard into one that can be argued is the best looking in the neighborhood. He routinely looks for details that need work and consults with the homeowner, and he has very good judgment. I would give 20 stars if I could.

The Task Easy Lawn representative did a great all around job, especially given the fact that my mountain lawn isnt the greatest. For the first time ever I see some stripping in the lawn, which impressed me. Plus he he did clean up with the wacker and blower. Thank you for helping out a Nurse in need of some serious lawn care.

No notice of a schedule to show up. My grass was already cut the day before. I did not make sense to just come unannounced and cut and already cut lawn that hadn’t even grown yet. This company really saved my life. Just when I needed somebody reliable and affordable, task easy came along. God is good. The first year task easy wasn’t able to hire a contractor for me all summer. The second year around, I’m receiving much better service. Maybe they hired more contractors this time.

Love this service!! It is the easiest way I have ever found to set up landscaping services. We are in the process of moving from one state to another and this has helped me keep up with both properties during the transition. Simple to setup and super convenient. Local contractors send you before and after photos of the work done and you have the opportunity to approve the work or request changes.
Appreciate the gesture but it was not what I had expected they only literally spent ten minutes tops to hurry up and cut some grass I don’t know, thought this would of been a great experience and made my mind to do this services but I think I can handle my own lawn instead.
Task Easy is a great company to subcontract with. In todays gig economy, there are some really good companies to work with and some not so good. Task Easy is top of the line. They have clear expectations and they do what they say they will do. Come prepared to work and it will be a rewarding experience.

I would love to leave ZERO stars, but sadly that is not an option. Went online last week and scheduled service. I was also chatting with someone on the chat line. When I received my bid via email I went to complete my order and it would not take my payment info. The person on chat gave me a number to call in and speak with a person to deal with the issue. After calling in I was assured that all my card information had been accepted and that my order was indeed complete. I then called in the next day to confirm this again because no pending charge or confirmation email was sent. Again I was assured everything was on track and to wait 48 and someone would be in touch. After 3 days had past I once again called in to verify my order. I was apologized too and again insured that I would hear from someone soon and that I would be seeing a charge. I called in again today and was on a call for roughly 45 minutes most of that time being on hold. I was asked for my phone number to look up the account and Maria on the phone then asked what price I was quoted. I asked her to give me a moment to look it up. After telling her what the quote was she then said thats also what I have. Why ask when you already know? Why not just say this is what I have on our end does it sound correct to you? or something of that nature. After being very displeased with her I was transferred to a supervisor who asked all the same information that I was just asked by the previous person. Then I was told by this man that I had cancelled my order. Which I ensured him was not the case. After he argued with me about it I then told him to cancel everything and I would find someone else. Such awful service! Stay clear of this horrible place!

This is the easiest way to get yard work done (especially if you cant do it yourself. I have yet to get a bad job. Always excellent work!! Would recommend to anyone. Ive shared the contact info with some co-workers who were complaining about their yards:)

Would be less than 1 star if that was an option. After 2 years of service thru Covid they ripped me off for work that wasnt completed for almost $200. Numerous phone calls and they did not honor their customer satisfaction guarantee. Unsafe service. Not treated like a valid customer. Run - go find a real service. Going to report them to BBB, yelp, be vocal about this so it doesnt happen to others.
I have had many services ordered over the years but none as efficient as TaskEasy. The quality of the people sent to my property has been outstanding. These people stand by their word and you can trust their employees.I wish I could give them more than five stars.
The idea of having affordable yard care that is co-ordinated by someone else (task easy) sounds great. However, this time around I was left calling task easy atleast once or twice everyday (for 10 days) with very very poor follow up. The contractor missed a whole section of my yard and they couldnt get him back to take care of it. I finally gave up. I was left with no choice but to just wait for the next schedule to have it taken care of.
I’ve always had a great experience with TaskEasy. Their customer service is topnotch. I’ve had the same contractor for over a year now and he’s done an amazing job every other week. Could not be happier!

Found this app when I was looking for someone to keep the lawn mowed at my old house until I can get the rest of my stuff moved and sell it. It is so easy to use, and if there is a problem with a contractor they are right on top of it. They have changed my contractor a couple of times due to scheduling issues, and I have not had to deal with any of it. The lawn consistently looks nice and is now something I dont have to worry about. The pricing is also quite reasonable. There are also other services available, but I have not opted to use them. I have no doubt that the results would be satisfactory though. I highly recommend TaskEasy!

Like an Uber of Lawn Services, would be helpful to have the administrative arm of TaskEasy be more responsive, in the know of what their contractors are doing, and overall more interested in customer satisfaction. Potential to be a great business idea!
