By far, the best gym I have ever been to. Friendly staff and excellent trainers. Equipment is always on point and clean. Sanitization excellence. Great experience overall.

Nesha Is the person here that I’ve had the most exposure to and she is beyond fantastic. I really enjoy your facility here it’s always clean and neat and all the equipment is also in good repair. The locker are always spotless And everybody that I’ve had interaction with here so kind and nice from management all the way down to the people that do the housekeeping! But mostly I want to brag on Neisha she is just wonderful and y’all very lucky to have an employee like her in my estimation. Thanks for having such a wonderful facility and keep up the good work!!

Recently joined the gym again once I felt it was safe for ME. There is social distancing between each machine and the building is very spacious. I have the ability to play racquetball, spin and I cant forget zumba with Alicia😊

Trevor is incredible! So professional and friendly. His communication skills were top notch and he answered all of the questions I had about the gym. The staff here is one-of-a-kind and they truly prioritize their LA Fitness members. Thank you, LA Fitness!

Filled with staff that is respectful and just overall great help. Really recommend asking for Roderick or Trevor at the Rock Hill LA Fitness. They made my transition to this gym easy.

It is a wonderful place where Braun muscles and brains can coexist in a somewhat zin nirvana. A place where the mind and body meld in a place of happiness and stress free environment that is reminiscent of a bygone era.

Been a member since the gym first opened in Rock Hill. They have the best cycling instructor Janice and Kameta is the best at Zumba. There were a variety of classes offered until Covid-19(sauna the best part after your workout). This gym is for all age and fitness levels!

Recently signed up with the gym very clean and nice. The staff there are very helpful and the trainers do an excellent job in teaching exercises and creating workout plans. Trevor was phenomenal and excellent at showing me some new work outs, he knows what he’s talking about and guides you through step by step. Great experience over all.

All other gyms in the area are open. No communication with members on tentative reopening. Paid in full, I want my money back. Have called corporate just get transferred around. Will never join LA Fitness again.

Neede to open before 6am go 24hrs or open at 3am I love this gym couldn’t wait for them to open, I get here at 5am thinking they are opening as normal, no sign with the hours. No reason they can’t operate with normal hours all others guns been open for months.

Great place to work out

A modern, upscale gym, or should I say upper tier for the masses, perfect for Rock Hill demographic. Racquetball, swimming pool, BB, extensive free weights, machines, spinning equipment, etc.The personnel are friendly and engaged. Classes and personal trainers abound. There is an interesting mix of members, all ages, hard core gym rats to those who spend more time on the cell phone than exercising. Fewer than expected muscle-bound guys in muscle shirts. Fewer than expected exercise fashion divas in Danskins.The swimming pool has been closed since I joined (temperature regulation problem?) 2 months ago. The locker room could be updated with more amenities. The showers (male at least) could stand new shower curtains and liberal use of soft scrub.

Even pre covid it is always a chill and clean environment here. I will just be glad when the business hours go back to normal!

Never too crowded. Suzy is an excellent trainer! They would get five stars if they had more yoga classes.

I really like this gym because there is a wide variety of machines, an area for stretching, a pool, and a Pilates class. They also provide mats, stability balls, and weights. Additionally, the facility and womens locker room is very clean, and they provide sanitizing foam for their guests so that they can sanitize the equipment whenever they want. Most of the staff are very nice and get you excited for your workout. Lastly, going to this gym has really helped me in reaching my fitness goals. I am very happy that I decided to come here.

A wonderful sized gym with all the equipment one could need for a workout. Very clean and never overcrowded. It is much nicer than my previous gym.

I tell you the best thing about this gym is that it isnt crowded, even at the most popular times. I see classes always going, with a great attendance and a great variety of people. Best part for me is all the free weights!!

Very nice LA Fitness! Newer equipment, stretching area is nice and secluded, not overcrowded and the locker rooms are so nice and clean smelling! Most LA fitness front desk people just ignore you, but here she says hello when you come in!

I really like this gym because of the equipment, classes and especially the sauna. For the price you cant beat it. The facility is clean and organized. I know many ppl have put up reviews about the management but I havent encountered any issues with them. Unless Im terminating my membership I cant truly comment on that.

Lots of free weights and machines, clean and well-kept. All machines run like theyre brand new. Nice courts and locker rooms. Great staff

I was told inaccurate information regarding gym membership when I originally joined LA Fitness. They later acknowledged that the information was wrong, but were unable to reimburse me for asking to end my contract due to the false information that they told me. I payed upfront for something and didnt receive what I payed for. I dont play with my money and as a business owner I dont play with my customers money. I also honor what I say. :(

Former employee. After going through 5 managers in less then a month. Having the VP lie about promotions and verbally assault employees daily and bad mouth anyone who spoke up about it or quit I finally found a much better job. The new GM the worst by far he is very power hungry and I didn’t know big corporations allowed sales managers to have blowup mattresses and sleep at the gym! Ha what a joke

The atmosphere at this gym is amazing and Im not sitting up under people trying to work out and theyre in my face staring at me because all the exercise equipment is 3 inches apart like that super expensive gym that I wont name with 4 letters in it....

Amazing gym. Hot tub works well, very hot and powerful jets! Sauna works too. 2 levels, cardio upstairs, free weights and many machines downstairs. Staff is friendly, and membership staff works late and is informative about their plans. This gym Is located in a very good area on Arden street, off of Herlong, many good restaurants in the area too.

Excellent ambiance and great selection of body shaping tools. Only thing missing is a steam room, but the sauna is top shelf!

Spacious. Not overcrowded. Good equipment. Lots of inexperienced annoying novices (but then, its January)

The location in Rock Hill is GREAT! not crowded, plenty of parking, friendly staff, the gym is maintained well...very highly recommended.

They will not have any sort of conversation with you until they get you in the system requiring your phone number at minimum. Then they pair you with a counselor to push you into joining. The whole dynamic is very aggressive and ugly.

Great gym, never too crowded and very nice machines. Staff is engaging and always there to help if needed.

Closing the club one hour early on Friday night, at 8pm, 1/7 due to the weather was the most over-reactive and unprofessional decision based on it was 34 degrees and RAINING when I pulled up to the door at 7:55 pm! You couldnt ammend your poor decision and stay open.

Well I did like it a lot, but after recent events I am less than pleased with their idea of customer service. I called in ample time to freeze my account because of financial strain that I knew would be coming for the next months. When I called, I was assure my account would not be charged and my personal training would also not be charged. Weeks later, to my surprise my account was charged and despite multiple attempts the management assured me I would be refunded. This was almost a month ago and I still have no refund. The only response I get from David in personal training is that the corporate office hasnt refunded me. I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone based solely on the fact that they only seemed to be worried about their bottom line and not each member.

Great place to workout and play basketball etc. There are yoga classes and personal training along with other classes like bicycle class etc.

If there were an option to give negative stars, I would select that because 1 star is too many in my book. Never in my life have I experienced such terrible customer service from any company! I was told on 4 separate dates that my account would be cancelled, only to find out that I was still being billed. On the last attempt to get it cleared up, I was told (by a manager) that I must not have read my contract and he would not honor anything that I had been promised (lied to) at that point. I am not one to eek out on financial responsibilities and I have never defaulted on any contracts/payments, but I do like to think that a company will honor their promises. Unfortunately that is not the case with LA Fitness and it makes me sad because I would like to think better of them. I would warn anyone who is thinking of joining NOT to sign an agreement and definitely go on a month-to-month option or *join another gym!*

LaFitness is a horrible place to go work out, they have so many hidden fees in their contract and if you decide to cancel you catch HELL, they call you non stop, they come up with so many reasons why you cant cancel and most of all they continously try to steal your money out of your bank account long after youve stop going !!!! DO NOT JOIN LA FITNESS

Will be cancelling my membership because of the shady policy standards used. I was told many times that I could cancel my membership because i was out of term. Great. Drive down there multiple times because only 1 person on staff can cancel accounts even though they have 6 people who can make them. Finally get ahold of the woman to be told it was all misinformed information and that I would have to pay to get out of my contract or stay in it. I havent even stepped foot in their gym in a year.Save yourself the money and run at home or just flush your money down the toliet. You get the same outcome.Ill be giving them their buy out which is what they call ending your contract early, and they can abuse someone elses wallet.PS. DEAR SAMANTHA: YOUR HAPPY DEMEANOR DOESNT HIDE THE LACK OF HELP ON YOUR PART OR THE STAFF.
