I parked a truck here for five months. Gina and Melissa were great to work with. They were very accomodating and worked with me on after hours delivery and pick up. My truck was not disturbed in all that time. Gina remembered me and my vehicle each time I spoke with her and was very easy to work with.I would recommend 1st Choice Storage to anyone.

Do not trust this company to properly manage their facilities. After updating my card expiration and security code information and my address, they never actually updated it. Then never CALLED me to tell me there was an issue. “We have 500 units” okay so before you auction a unit CALL THE OWNER OF THE UNIT. Send an email. DO SOMETHING ELSE OTHER THAN RELY SOLEY ON POSTAL MAIL. It’s a simple step that would save someone from losing things that cannot be replaced over less than 200$. Then they will hang up on you because you’re upset and tell them they will send you the so called notices they sent to the WRONG ADDRESS they never updated when you called to update it. Imagine that poor office procedures lead to unhappy customers

This place is ran by crooks. Here the story. My debit card was canceled by my bank due to a fraud warning. I got a new card no big deal. But the storage unit payment was set up on auto pay. Due to withdrawal from my account on the first of each month. Since my card was canceled the payment did not go though. I went the the storage unit on the 3rd after hours so there was no employees there. My PIN number for the gate didnt work that night so I called the next morning to see why. I had figured that it was cause my card was canceled I wanted to update my account with the correct card. Any way when I called them they said That I owed them $280 and that all my stuff had already been sent up for auction. The storage unit only cost $60 a month. So I was pretty upset when they tried to charge me a $220 late fee for 4 day and my they were trying to sell my stuff already. I asked why they did all of that with in 4 days. The lady told me that they had tried to contact me multiple times though call text email and certified mail. In fact she said they send out 3 certified letters between the time my payment didn’t go through and the time I called. For some reason I highly doubt the sent 3 letters in four days. When I asked for proof of this they told me they didn’t have to show me anything. They also told me and I quote ( it’s not out responsibility to keep your sh*t up to date.) so I canceled my storage unit with them. When I went to get my stuff it had all been gone through and thrown all over the place all the boxes were ripped open not just opened but the boxes were destroyed. I get that it was my bad for not updating my card info the second I knew it was canceled but I think they could have been a little more understanding seeing as it was only 4 days late. long story short don’t store anything here they will screw you over first Chance they get.

I have been with first choice for over 10 years. although like every places there are crooks. and I did have some parts removed from a pick up I had stored there. Ive had nothing but good luck and friendlyfolks waiting on me. Over all .great place to store your stuff

Everyone at 1st Choice Storage is so friendly and helpful! I would recommend this storage unit to anyone. The prices are affordable, the staff is great, the roads were clear-even during a horrible snowstorm so I could get to my unit, my unit felt very secure and the location is easily accessible. If I need a storage unit again, this is where I will go!

Beware of this place. A very shady establishment. I called to check availability. I was told there was a spot open and that they would reserve it for me. 3 days later I show up (as agreed upon prior) and they said they were totally full and that I wasn’t in the system. They gave me the number for the place across the street which wanted triple the price. I barely figured out an alternative solution before the end of the business day and before my flight. Do not take your business here!

We love 1st Choice Storage! We have known the owner for many years now and he is amazing. Having built most of the property structures himself we know that they are safe and secure. The manager Troy is super friendly and always helpful! I wouldnt trust my belongings anywhere else! Great place, great people!!!

This is a great place for storage. They live on site and have a good security system. The rates are fairly lower than other storage facilities.

Very tight spaces, alot of people storing junk in vehicle spaces, giant holes in gateway to vehicle lot that drags your trailer on the ground. Gravel lot is not well packed you can see trailer landing gear sinking in the ground. Staff is not friendly!

GREAT customer service, the manager and owner are top notch, and put customers needs first. Surprisingly low rates for all you get, wide driveways, easy access, and you can tell they have spared no expense on security with alarms and cameras everywhere. I had to move across country and had to find a place I could trust my valuables and heirlooms while I started a new job. My storage unit is nicer than some apartments Ive rented! Dont settle for less than this place, check it out. And, you have to meet the owner if you can, he is really funny, and very charming in a Barry Manilow meets Leif Garrett meets Axel Rose kind of way. He will even sing to you if you ask! Now thats customer service!

I shopped around. They had the best price in the market for the same type unit I was looking for. The facility was very clean and the individual alarmed unit doors sealed the deal for me. The manager was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about the property. I was looking for a safe and clean storage facility as I am planning to stay for a long time. First Choice turned out to be my first choice.

Excellent customer service and superb manager. I am always treated with care and respect and I wouldnt store my stuff anywhere else. Also, I am big on convenience and so I love that I can make my payment online any time I want.

Wish I could leave Zero stars..Have had my trailer in here since October temporarily till I get my RV pad done. Winterized it at the end of October and someone siphoned all the gas out of my fuel station, was only about 5 gallons but still. Went back at the end of November to grab something out of it and someone tried to break into it by shoving something into the deadbolt and now I cant get into my trailer. Ive stopped in twice and called twice and I was told only the manager can look at the cameras, I still have not heard anything if they have reviewed them or not to see who did it. I guess as long as Im paying my monthly fee they dont care about me or my trailer....... I wanted to wait till summer to get my pad done but it looks like I have to do it this winter so I have piece of mind.My last review was about 3 weeks ago...Came down to get my trailer to get it ready for camping and guess what? Its been broken into this time and Ive had some things stolen out of it! Wow, wouldve never thought it would happen AGAIN! First time they broke the locks on the front door and now they broke the lock on the rear one. They were able to get into my storage compartment and took most of my camping stuff, I cant get anything to work outside of my trailer to get it out of here and I cant get inside to see if there are fuses blown because my door locks are broke. I am currently waiting here for the police so I can file a report. Maybe NOW my insurance company will make these guys review their 24 hour security footage and see who did this.I know this stuff happens but for them boasting about having Top-of-the-line security system, it is not secure at all.As I sit here waiting for the police Ive had someone come up and ask me to let them in because they have to leave something for Dennis, I tools them no and I dont know Dennis. He tells me that Dennis owns the place. Somebody else pulls up and cant get into the gate either so they pull into the street and wait for someone to pull up and open the gate. 2 vehicles follow the guy in and before the gate closes another car shoots in there! 3 vehicles enter without putting in a code.

My experience with First Choice has been nothing but a pleasure. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. When I looked around they had the best price and then outstanding service on top of that, so for storage, just like the name says, they will always be my first choice!

This place has really good security. Thick metal bars, surveillance cameras all over the place. The owner is a really nice, down to earth guy. No complaints here.

This place is a joke.....way over priced.. I think ....maybe not but in my opinion....yeah they are and you feel like your walking into a daycare when you walk in the door. They like to bring there kids and pets and everything....

Horrible storage unit. Will say you are late on your payments and not let you in even when you are current on your payments. DO NOT go to this storage unit. Very unsecure storage unit with poor lighting and cheap cameras.
