These guys have always taken good care of my vehicles. Ive never had any problems and they are very good about squeezing me in to get an oil change or whatever I need done quickly. Definitely recommend

I think this other guy who reviewed must be confused with somewhere else. Ross is his own shop and does his own work. I have worked with dealerships and mechanics in three states and this guy Ross is one of the few honest mechanics I have ever met that I can count on one hand. He does his best to keep on top but has a few times been behind. For me though, I would rather have something take an extra hour or even day and have it done right.I always prefer to talk to him than his office assistant because he is straight shooter. He has even said that I dont need something or told me not to bring it in but that I could do the work myself in under 10 minutes. He was right and he basically saved me $140 if I went to another place which I had priced out. Great mechanic, highly recommended.

I am a frequent customer of Ross Automotive and plan to stay one. A hidden gem in the industrial area of Taylorsville/West Valley, just west of i-15, Ross is the kind of mechanic that I hoped to find much earlier in my life. Hes not only explicitly honest and trustworthy, his work is thorough and he will take the time to talk to you. Hes sincere and genuine and will always tell you whats going on in your car. I hope people read this and feel my own sincerity, because he truly is THE mechanic of Salt Lake City!!

Great service. Everyone is friendly. Getting parts for my vehicle took longer than usual, so they offered me a ride home, so I wouldnt have to bus. Despite the difficulty finding parts, they still managed to finish the job in a timely manner. Great Autoshop. Ill be back.

This guy does not keep his word both in timing and price. He told me that he would be done in 1 week, turned into 3 weeks and $1000 more! On top of it, he kept changing story about my car which also leads me to wonder if he even knows what he is talking about. If you want it done right, go anywhere other then here.Vince

I wish people like Jared didnt exist, but they do. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. But really? A review of lies. Im sorry the used car lot you bought your car from wouldnt cover what you wanted under warranty. They dont cover everything. Good luck in your future dealings.

Ross is an excellent mechanic. We take all of our work trucks to him and he always get done on time and at or under the quoted price. We wouldnt consider going anywhere else.

This guy is a crook! Do not use his service. He told me that there was no charge to diagnosis issues with my car, even had me sign a paper that said no charge. Then after he diagnosed it he wanted me to pay $75 for it. It is not legal for him to do that and when he found out that I had contacted the Utah Department of Consumer Protection about the issue he became verbally aggressive with me. He even threatened to come to my house if I wrote this review. I dont think that he even did a good job after he looked at the car he said nothing was wrong with it. While I am no expert in auto mechanics I know that if I smell fuel on a 2004 car that there is some type of leak in the fuel system. Again DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC.

The only honest mechanic left in the world. Ross is your guy.
