I called around to several places to get the soonest intake, he said to come in first thing two days later and that they were super packed and that was the soonest they could get me in. I thought great, with a holiday weekend I wont see my car for another week with how short staffed they made it sound. Took it in, ended up being a different piece than they thought and was 200 bucks cheaper and they had it done that day by 4pm. I highly recommend for honest and quick service!

I took my car here a few months ago and I was very impressed. Cost was fair. Mechanic was nice. However, my son was driving my car and according to him it just stopped . I dropped the car off to be diagnosed. While I do not know who called me from the shop to give me the news that my motor is seized he was extremely rude and unprofessional. Right after he delivered what is truly a heartbreaking diagnosis he demanded that I get the car outta here. I was a little taken a back by his lack of empathy and his harsh rude tone and demands. To take it one step farther my son took his civic to the shop a couple months ago. Dropped it off with a working clutch and was told it had no clutch after this shop was supposed to be diagnosing a completly different issue. Then charged him $50 with no diagnosis and minus a clutch. Buyer beware.....

We absolutely loved our experience with Neil’s Pro! We had a pretty tough problem with a mystery engine light, as well as a few other minor repairs. They worked so hard to find out what the problem was and even called in a specialist to look at it. They even fixed our broken tire pressure light somehow. The price was extremely reasonable and our car works perfectly now! They were fair, open and honest with us the whole time. Would definitely go there again.If you’re looking for quality auto care, honesty, integrity, and fair prices, this is your place.

Honest, efficient and thorough. My car finally started acting out really bad (weve had it for 6 years over 140K miles). And I for sure thought she was toast. After a frantic and crazy afternoon limped it over to this place. True family owned and operated business. We assume the son Chris runs things, as the father, very warm old man, showing signs of being up there. Bless his heart.But great experience, dropped off the car on Wednesday, was very honest about the timeline. (Better say later and deliver sooner IMHO.) Thursday afternoon we had a diagnosis and a cost. We were able to take the car home on Friday without it costing us an arm and a leg.No unnecessary days of waiting or labor charges. Just professional and prompt. He even was able to show my husband a breakdown of what caused the issue in the first place as well as make sure there was not any further damage. Heaven forbid one needs a repairman- but going there rest assured youre in good hands.

The place may seem pretty disorganized most of the time, but if you can get in, you will never get more honest service anywhere else.

Chris is amazing! He’s been an awesome mechanic to my family and friends for years. I see him frequently, not because my car is broken but I get all of my oil changes here. The for select few times my car has been broken he has been quick to fix it! Chris has become a good family friend not only to me but my parents as well. If you need any type of work done your car give them a call. You won’t regret it!

I’ve been going to Niel’s for a few years now but definitely not as long as my father who is a Rosepark native. After moving away and coming back it was a lot more apparent to me the quality of service I had been getting all those years for an exceptional price. They are quick with their work and honest in their intentions. I’ve never been happier with a family run business before.

They have a sign about social distancing; but Neil got close to me, put his hand on my shoulder, said something, and coughed. The place is full of hard-working folks and Im sure Neil has put in his time, but it would seem hes suffering from mental decline and maybe he should be kept away from customers.

Amazing mechanic shop who is fast, busy, cheap and does quality service. Brought my vehicle in to have the AC compressor fixed. It ended up costing me several hundred dollars less than the estimate from another mechanic shop. Excellent service! I live three cities away and will drive the 20 miles for future service.

Had me in and out for a vehicle inspection in less than ten minutes. Very impressed with this place. Just feels like a trustworthy spot to take your car for repairs as well...just had that feel to it. Crossing my fingers my car doesnt need anything serious done soon, but if it does I will take it here for sure.

One of our friends uses Neils Pro Services for their automotive needs. We havent personally used them, but I wanted to put in a good word here. My friends car died at our house. We figured she needed a new battery. She decided to call Neils to see if they would come check out her car & they came right over! I was so impressed! We managed to get her car to the shop & they fixed everything right up! In this day & age, this type of service is rare & is a special thing to experience!

AMAZING experience! Came in a little panicked about a noise my car was making- it was an hour before they closed and I felt super bad! They said it was no problem to take a look and put it up on the lift. They diagnosed the problem and were honest. We will definitely be coming back if we ever need service. I have used them since we moved back into the Salt lake County. I conducted business with Scott on a vehicle repair. Hes a really good guy and goes out of his way to help you out. His father, Neil no longer repairs vehicles, but hes still there greeting customers. Ive known Neil for several decades now, but I never knew his sons who run the place until just recent. I now know his son Scott who lives in our neighborhood and decided to give them a try. I will be going there from now on. They are good people.

Neils is an honest shop not looking to rip you off and will do good work at a fair price. I couldnt get my thermostat to stop leaking, and they fixed it for just $55. I recommend them to anyone. They get pretty busy, which means they are trusted.

I was referred there by my brother, and now I take all of my cars there. I travel all the way across the city, even just for inspections. Its the most fair and complete service Ive ever received. They explain clearly what needs to be fixed, what doesnt, and what the options are. Some of it I choose to do myself, others I would rather have them do.I feel like I can drive my older cars for 4 years longer than I would otherwise because I have a mechanic shop this helpful.

I took my car there 3 times. 1st time was a simple oil change and filter change. they didnt replace the filters. 2nd time was for tire rotation and oil change. They didnt shut the damn hood! Luckily I noticed it moving at low speeds. 3rd time my sister took it in there and they lost the paper work so my car sat there for a whole day til I came and got it... NEVER GO THERE!

Two years ago in December just days before Christmas I pulled in to Neils to air up my tire on the way to work. It had been snowing and my truck wasnt running well. It had been a rough year for me financially. I had been filling up a slow leaking tire while I had been saving for a new one over the past few weeks. The owner was outside and walked up to me. He said, do you know what we call your type, AP&W customers. Ive seen you come to my shop before and the only thing you do is use my air. The only thing you are good for is Air, Pee, and Water....APW. I was thoroughly disgusted. Neils has been a fixture in this neighborhood for years. I aired my bike tire up as a kid at his shop. I had my first car service there when I turned 16. I purchased gas there when their pumps worked instead of Smiths across the street for years because his shop was a small local business. I have taken multiple family cars, and refered numerous friends to his shop. I have personally helped tow 5 vehicles to that shop for service. I have refused to set foot on their property for two years because of this treatment. Tonight I helped one more friend tow his car to Neils. Im never doing that again. Take your business elsewhere. My patronage as a customer has amounted to thousands of dollars over two decades not including the thousands of dollars they have recieved in business for friends and family as referrals. They do not value your dollar, your patronage, or deserve your business.
