False advertising: I was shown a model with updated appliances & was told the unit they were offering me would also have updated appliances. Come move in day, I go into my unit for the first time to find it was nearly falling apart. When I went to management the lady claimed that no, she didn’t say it would updated but that it would be “the best unit for the best price possible”. I was in a crunch and the only unit that they could offer was a one bedroom (I signed for a 2 bedroom). The leasing office promised me a free storage unit for my troubles…great, that’s fine. I sit with my boxes in my living room for 6 weeks waiting for this supposed storage unit. When I contacted them about it they said they were experiencing a storage audit. That’s fine, that happens. I wait a few more weeks. I contact them again about it and then the leasing office told me that her boss would only approve for a free 2 MONTH storage unit…seriously? Two months after move in I FINALLY get my updated lease contract but they somehow added two extra months onto my contract & didn’t find out they didn’t fix this until I tried to move out after my 12 month lease was up.Extra costs: I didn’t find out that they were charging me gas fees every single month ($50 on top of gas charge) & not ONCE did they tell me that I needed to switch that over.ROACHES: Because of trash valet services & they lock their dumpsters so that they’re not accessible, neighbors’ trash pile up outside the units all weekend in the hot sun. Some units we’re talking 5+ bags of trash over the course of the 2 days they don’t come each week. Both summers I was here I had roaches crawling into my front door & windows as a result of the unsanitary nature of rotting garbage.Loud AC: Dont plan on watching TV or having a conversation in your apartment when the AC is on…comparable to the sound of a jet engine.Only redeeming quality of this place is the nice & responsive maintenance crew.
Been having issues since we moved in beginning of february.. so for bout 8 months the office hardly ever answers any calls to the point where i question if their phone even works, and maintenance has a full voicemail (already a red flag) so its hard to get any help. when me & my partner actually got to speak to someone (robert) we told him about the plumbing issues, rodents, poor pre-move in cleaning and cockroaches that we were promised were not going to be an issue upon move in.. and we have the RENOVATED apartment so i can only imagine what the classic apartments are like.. definitely not worth the rent they charge here. beyond dissatisfied.
Mouse! Roaches! Dirty apartment upon entering. We got the renovated apartment for a reason but instead we got loose cabinets, missing tiles, faulty drain systems, dishwasher that will overflow if you dont run it everyday, power outages, paint on the floors, loose door handles and worse of all A Mouse... I had to pay for traps and kill it myself which come to find out it attracts more of them. Knowing this me and my partner report this and many other things and we are still waiting for a plumber and a pet control person. They expect me to pay rent under these conditions when I was promised no roaches! And a RENOVATED APPARTMENT. You guys have to fix those who are employed at the office. The maintenance ppl arent that bad. I shouldnt be paying the amount I pay for !!
Worst apartment complex. Took them 10 days to resolve our AC issues, only for us to lose power in the process and they couldn’t figure it out. Issues from day one. They’ll show you a nice renovated apartment only to give you one that everything is old and falling apart. They charge you for things that you didn’t ask for and then it takes forever for them to reimburse you. They don’t answer their phone or return calls when calling to get things fixed. Depending on who you speak to in the office, you will always get a different answer and they will throw each other under the bus if you are upset about being told something else. No ownership at all for issues. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Worst decision ever! Can’t wait for the lease to be over!!
My family and I just moved in this Apartment and there are so much to say about: office people are very much welcoming, application processed very fast, they work around credits, and more. Not to mention the apartment is stunning. Rent is much worth it. Community is peaceful. Almost forgot to mention, they have dog’s shower👌. And the pool is beautiful as well as the bond. Yes there is also a bond.
The Grove Apartment is a nice place located in a quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of guest parking for residents family and friend. As well as a nice park down the street for outdoor activities. Not only is the location great but the management has improved tremendously with Robert in charge. He really looks out for his residents and makes sure we are comfortable in our unit. Overall, great experience here at the Grove Apartment!
The location is great because it is right next to golf and frisbee golf, plus there is a lot of well maintained grassy areas, a pool, up-scale grilling area, and a small gym. This place avoids being overpriced by having a million hidden fees, but the community is nice and we are very happy with our unit.
Dont rent from here. Or if you do make sure that place is not infected with bed bugs. We had problem after problem with the unit they rented to us. We stood there for 1 night. My son ended up getting bit by bed bugs. We ended up getting out the contract after that. We had to get new beds, dresser, lamps because of the bed bugs. We were there for less than 24 hrs. Horrible. Pay the extra money for something better.
Very friendly and helpful thank you guys for the opportunity to be part of this community it was a rocky start but everything worked out at the end me n my family are happy to be here
Bed bugs!!!!Please do not come here to rentWe came in in Good faith sign the lease and woke up the next day with bites all over our bodys my only child 1 year old had them we have to throw away our belongings clothes everything shoes everything it was aNightWe were homelessWithout clothesAnd without moneyI had to ask for loans on order to buy new clothes, beds electronics everythingThe manager did not care to gave us anything butEven took a 3 days to get our money for the deposit backDo not rent here protect your family!!!!
For being our first time moving to these apartments it’s not that bad. So far so good. No bad complains.
They opened the pool for summer but close it during the Memorial weekend for some random reason, sent a paper informing that I was going to be open and when we made plans to have a bbq and use the pool, the pool was closed. Now we need permission to use the pool?
I like the overall living environment. Everyone is respectful to each other. It is calm and quiet. Nevertheless, the quality of the furniture/installations is very low. Weve lived here for only 4 months and weve had issues with the kitchen cabinets, the sink, and the toilet and the towel holder.
I’ve had a great experience with all the staff at The Grove Apartments. The leasing office is easy to reach, very helpful, and are kind, professional people. The maintenance team are also fantastic and do a great and prompt job fixing things. The new change in management has created a lot of positive changes from the older reviews and experiences. Would definitely recommend for the closeness to downtown, dog park, and reasonable rent price.
I love this community because the environment here is beautiful and amazing. What I really like is its very near to the International Airport just 8 mins and also very close to the Downtown and grocery stores. This place is very commute to travel in buses from the apartment. The Manager is very kind and good person. The last summer I had an issue with the air conditioner system, so they quickly came to check and understood the problem and fixed it the same day. Thanks to the manager to be so quick to solve the issue.
I have lived at these apartments the past few years and recently new management has come in. The changes I have seen since they have come in are incredible. The remodeled apartments are beautiful and anytime I need a repair they take care of it in a very timely manner. I even had a question about my utility bill from them and they stopped what they were doing to take their time explain what it was. It was such a pleasant experience actually having someone help me understand instead of making me feel dumb for not knowing. Not only is the management team great but so are the maintenance men and the groundskeeper! They are very friendly and professional with everything they do. Every morning when I’m headed to work I see our grounds keeper Matthew cleaning and he always greats me with a hello and smile. It’s so nice to live somewhere where I truly feel welcome and know that anything I need will be taken care of.
So my little cousin has lived here for years now, not only has the living situation for the residents improved drastically with the recent remodeling. We both talk about how much the condition of the property has improved, today on my way out I met a young man named Matthew, I noticed he was picking up trash and interacting with the tenants. Without me even saying anything to him he told me to have a good day, I saw this as the perfect time to acknowledge how good of a job he had been doing. He seemed to take the job personally, he mentioned that he stayed in the apartments too, and that he had seen the apartments come a long way since he first moved in. I don’t know if you guys read these reviews often or not, but that kid deserves a raise. Matthew if you’re reading this, keep up the good work, people appreciate it whether they say it or not.
Ive been living here for about a year now and its been a wonderful experience. Theres been its ups and down but overall the staff has shown great respect and gets the job done. Its very quite and you barely hear your neighbours! The neighbours are friendly and give you the space you want, especially in the pandemic! Everyone is so nice and its overall a great community to live in.
My girlfriend and I moved to Utah from Florida. Kate made the move super easy and enjoyable making sure to be in constant contact with us as well as help us get familiar with some of the local places to eat and shop!Juston and the maintenance team are amazing. If you have a question or issue no matter how big or how small they are always very helpful and timely with their work and information! It’s like a big family here!We are super blessed to be in such a good spot for our first home in Utah!
The Grove is a quiet place with cute playgrounds for littles and a short walk to the park for the older kids. The office staff is helpful, and the maintenance team is the best Ive ever dealt with (from six different states)!! Buses run right in front of the complex, and theres handy nearby shopping. Also, for families like mine, theres a library branch right up the road.
Ive lived here for the past several years. All I can say is that Ive loved living here. The staff is always friendly and they are always on time with repairs. They used to host community events but not recently due to this pandemic. But they used to be really fun and I hope they bring them back.
Once upon a time, I lived with The Handsome Prince. Then one day, ... I needed a new place to live. From the moment I saw the offering of a one bedroom apartment, washer and dryer included, in a BEAUTIFUL PARK ENVIRONMENT, I knew I had found my new home. Rob, Ruben, and Maro have done a SUPREMELY EXCELLENT job helping me adjust after living in my house for over 20 years. Justin, Janeen, and Manny have been able to ABSOLUTELY SUCCESSFULLY provide for the care and maintenance of my apartment, especially when we had a mystery problem with a leaky bathtub. With my current situation, even tho I still own my house, The Grove is becoming my HOME. THANK YOU so much!
A lot of suspicious ppl walking around at like 3 am and I hear gun shoots like every other 2 weeks but it’s rose park so 😂
People say the have bad experiences. But this has been a great experience for my first apartment. Kitchen is all brand new appliances, new wood floors, new sinks and bathtubs. My daughter loves walks by the pond to see the ducks. This place is amazing. Affordable and well managed with very engaged staff. They keep in touch with you to make sure everything is okay and the staff is very nice and informative. I love my experience here.
Looks nothing like the model we saw. They did a poor job on “updating”. Paint chipping off bathtub. Mold under sink when we got here. Roach infested as soon as we moved in. And for the 4th time our heater has broken. Flooring is marked up before we even moved in. Water pressure low in bathroom sink. Cheap stove, the door fell off already and had to screw it back ourselves. We have only lived here a few months and we always have a new issue. I have a new born baby living in a freezing cold apartment.
I dont normally write reviews this long but this was so annoying I had to. If I could put in negative stars I 100% wouldEnding the lease was terrible, The deposit which they said was 150 and my roommate and I know that it was 400 was consumed for the rent for the first month which is not what the deposit is for at all.The only thing that was great was the maintenence guys, specifically Manny and Matthew.Would not recommend! Would not lease here ever again! paint continued to fall of the wall for the entire 14 months of the lease.
Ive been living here for a while now and honestly I love it here. At first the apartments look good and decent but after they decided to remolded the apartment, it was more comfortable plus my neighbors are friendly.
I very rarely write poor reviews, but living at this apartment complex was by far the worst experience Ive ever had. I moved from across the country, and called several times to make sure everything was ready for my arrival when I made the three day trek from Florida to Utah. When my husband and dad arrived with the moving truck, Nicole was the only person in the office, and had nothing on file about my lease. She ended up giving me the utility key to the wrong apartment which hadnt been cleaned since the prior tenant moved out. We cleaned the entire apartment ourselves and marked down all of the damage so I wouldnt be charged for it later. They overcharged me each month, after promising a reduced rate for all of the inconveniences. I felt very unsafe here, there were cop cars in and out all the time, and the apartment next to mine was broken into in the middle of the night while I was home. Each time I went into the office, there was a new manager, because no one can handle all of the problems this place has for very long. When my lease was finally over, my husband and I scrubbed the apartment top to bottom. A few months later I received an email stating that the money I owed due to damage and cleaning had gone to collections and incurred an additional charge of hundreds and hundreds of dollars. When I went to the office, Nicole (who screwed up which apartment I lived in in the first place) said that they had mailed me the letter several times, which they did not, and that there was nothing they could do because it had gone off to collections, when in fact it had not yet. An attorney was finally involved and said that the manager could have fixed it, but after reaching out and discovering yet another manager was employed there, the manager said he didnt know me well enough to believe my story, would not undo the charges, and since I didnt find out until a few days before the charges either had to be paid or were tacked on to my credit, I just paid it. This place looks appealing in the beginning because of the low rent but I promise they will overcharge you, take your money, and are constantly under new management which will not value you or your living experience. Trust me, LIVE ANYWHERE ELSE.
The place is good and it has a room to be better. With the new management communication became easier than before.
Apartment has roaches. Wasnt really clean when we moved in. They implemented key fobs a month or two after we moved in last year and they didnt say anything about it to us so we finally got our key fob a week ago. We were waiting for our 3bed2bath apartment and they never got it done in time, so we had to move in to a 2bed2bath
We have enjoyed our time here, at The Grove Apartments. The management is very responsive to our maintenance requests and friendly when we visit the office. The walls are fairly well insulated which cuts down on the noise from other tenants. The grounds are always nicely kept.
The front office has been amazing with responding to apartment needs and maintenance. Very strong team.
Is a nice place to call home the staff is grate and they fix the issues that you have in less than a day or hours have lived here before I like it and they are pet friendly
Manny is such an amazing person! Very helpful would recommend if you need help!! He’s a maintenance
We have seen quite the evolution of The Grove over the years! The updated landscaping and pool area are wonderful. The management and maintenance team are responsive and proactive; you can really tell they care about The Grove community and strive to make it an excellent living experience for everyone.
New management making some good changes to make the community safer. The grass areas and landscape is always nice. The maintenance staff are very helpful and friendly.
Rob and Kate are doing great helping with the neighborhood safety. They really want to have a great apartment community. Justan Manny and Janeen are really great at keeping the apartments remodeled and fresh for the new tenants. They also have really cleaned up the complex not as much litter and graffiti.
I have lived here for going on 7 years now, and throughout that time things have improved drastically. They have remodeled and improved so many things from the apartments themselves to the grounds in general. The people that work here have always been very kind and responsive to any issues Ive had. 10/10
We moved from central Florida to The Groves in Salt Lake City and it’s been the best decision we’ve ever made. The property manager Kate is phenomenal. We were extremely stressed and nervous about making such a big move with our dogs and limited budget but she walked us through every step with such patience and compassion. Kate showed us an apartment that was perfect for our family and we said yes immediately. Once we got settled, Juston another amazing employee at the groves walked through our unit and fixed some minor issues the previous tenants created. Juston is so friendly and helpful and has been every time we see him. Both Kate and Juston made us feel very welcome and we are always happy to see them on our daily walks to the dog park. The property is beautiful with plenty of sidewalks and places for kids to play. There’s plenty of food options, supermarkets, and the apartments are a short drive away from downtown so it doesn’t take long to find something fun to do.
Manny and Justine shoutout to them best workers, they get the job done fast 👌💪🏾 Friendly guys 💯🖤
If I could rate these apartments 0 stars I totally would! If you’re looking for a place to move in do NOT look into these apartments! Besides the bad management, there’s roaches in the apartments. Can’t wait to move out! :)
This place has literally the best staff ever. Maintenance is quick and everything is well kept. I really love how I can just walk in the office and talk to anyone there and feel like Im talking to a friend and not to someone on their work hours. Specially Brandy, she is amazing and I really enjoy every second I spend talking to her.
Manny does an amazing job, cudos to him give that man a raise.
I can call it greenest community in the area. I appreciate the facilities like Covered parking, basketball ground, dog park, swimming pool, gym, barbecue area, and plants and 🌳 trees surrounded community. I enjoy my newly renovated kitchen cabinets and white washed walls which give completely modern outlook. Management team is very efficient. Indeed, we enjoy living here so much.
I back The Apartments On The Green 100% . I wouldnt change my living experience there for anything they have been nothing but helpful very professional and very clean when it comes to their property. Not only is it an amazing place to live its close to the freeway systems, the city, family-oriented places, as well as clothes shopping places like supermarkets and such, as well as UTA busing close by for those who would rather enjoy the scenery through a ride on the UTA bus. Happy Halloween everyone come check out The Apartments On The Green it rocks in more ways than 1 !!!!
I would give this Zero stars if i could. There were also so many cop cars and visits all the time. i didnt feel safe there. also management is the worse. The first month we moved in we had AC problems and it took them over 1 month to fix. Then they would come into our apartment for maintenance without any notice, and when we asked why, they would claim that a notice was taped to the door. We requested that an email notification or even text was sent for entry type maintenance (like replacing the windows, as they did) so wed be prepared to have all of our furniture moved away from the walls, instead of turned on their side and uprooted. Also We moved out in May, and just now....JUST NOW received a phone call about our cleaning bill which was over $400. That is excessive, and they just charge a set move out rate and then wait this long so we cant even dispute it. Because we cleaned and new paint, and new drip pans and everything definitely wasnt needed. The management is so hard to get a hold of and when you do, they cant help you. they have to talk to their corporate managers. The facilities are not that great either. plus they charge all these fees every month. $35 for Trash, $35 for commons area, $9 gas fee (not what your using, but to just have the ability to set up. I still had a gas bill). This is aside from any parking fees. its ridiculous.
Today would have been a day to stay home, but Nicole was at the office helping me with my questions about the rent that I was to pay. She is always friendly and helpful. She is a great asset to this wonderful complex. Thanks Nicole.
Apartments On The Green is by far the best Apartments Ive lived in! This will be my second year living here and I love it! First of all, I love how our Apartments are always clean and service goes above and beyond. I also like the lovely people they have in the office that are ready to help you if needed! I would highly recommend checking out these wonderful apartments! If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!
Terrible customer service, came in for a tour and just kept getting the run around, not to mention the advertised price vs. $1088 that was quoted for a one bedroom. The pool was being drained as they were pouring in over the counter Clorox. Nicole let us know at 1:10pm she would take us on a tour, it is now 3:57pm and NO TOUR. Not to mention she let us know the office closes at 4:00pm which is in 3 minutes and she has a lot to do. Terrible experience all around. If this is how Avenue 5 manages their rental properties then shame on them. Under new management must be a ploy to trick in new residents and I see clearly why they have such terrible reviews. A property is only as good as their front desk and this one was unprofessional and very tacky to say the least. Would not recommend. When asked for Nicole to provide a contact number or email for management company Avenue 5 was told she does not have it. Makes sense they were so unprofessional they don’t even have contact with their own property management team. It’s quite sad actually hopefully they get better at communicating.
The apartments have made changes and are continually making changes for the better and they strive to provide great service I would definitely recommend living here the management is THE BEST I’ve seen in a long time. Great place to live.
Great for dog owners. Conveniently located & playgrounds on site. Some remodeled units with add on amenities available.
I applied to rent an apartment here, and while the staff were pleasant, the apartments look nice and the grounds were well kept, I cant recommend anyone live here solely based on the experience I had trying to get my money back from the application fee.Theres a 200$ refundable deposit for the apartment if you get denied. I was denied for various reasons so I called to have it refunded. First time I called they said it would be a week, the next time I called they said it would be 30 days and the most recent time I called they said it would be in my account by next week. Well its been another week and I still dont have the money from an application I out in almost 2 months ago.If this is the way they treat prospective tenants, I cant imagine how poorly tenants are treated.
CHEERS TO Rev, Rob, Mathew, Stephanie, Marrow, Justin
For those who enjoy a great apartment. One that has a community feel. With spacious and clean feel this is a great fit.The ground are kept up. The management is courteous and always professional. Place has amenities that fit both single and family occupants. So take the opportunity to rent a place from apartment on the green and you are home.
New management making a HUGE difference. They actually care. Would recommend to my mother....!!!
Great manager, disappointed though in the state our apartment was in upon move-in. We had to do a lot of cleaning on our own, and had a lot of things that needed worked on inside. Love the neighbors, very friendly. First three weeks of living here though and we’ve had many issues with the apartment itself. It’s not awful but also not great.
I loved my apartment. We had a newly renovated two-bedroom and the renovated rooms are definitely worth it! The office girls were very sweet and helpful whenever I went in and the maintenance was very kind and helpful. The trash service wasnt as great as i thought it would be but other then that it was a nice experience for me.
Rent is really high for what they offer, however the area of Rose park is amazing and one of the most undervalued area. Rent and property taxes are increasing because the neighborhood is being more saught after. So if you rent here look to instead get out of these apartments and own something in the same area.
Hi! This is Sandra Williams!Im really happy living here they are really nice apartments and the people in the office they are really nice and help us on everything but especially Edwin this guy its amazing every time we have a question or problem he always help us 🤗😉He always happy and has smile on his face all the time make me feel better 🤗His personality is awesomeHe should be a managerEdwin Thank you so much for your helpWe really appreciate it 😉😀
This is an awesome place to live and the apartment area is always well kept clean. The ladys in the front office are nice and very friendly they always try there best to help you. I have been living here for almost a year and I just love it.
Grounds Maiden Janeen Stratton was awesome keeping the grounds clean. Staffs are awesome and helpful. been here a year and staying. Staffs and managements has been awesome during the COVID-19. Communication is the key stop in and thank them for working hard during the pandemic.
Dont trust them! I made the mistake of believing they would refund the administrative fee if denied. I was denied, which was understandable due to me currently repairing my credit, and called to get my refund. here it is almost 4 months later and they just keep telling me they are waiting on it to come in. All you get is lies and runaround. Dont do business with them. If the application process is this bad, I can assume that being a tenant is an absolute nightmare.
Ive lived at Apartments on the Green since October of 2013, with my son who is now 16. When I moved out after 5 years residence. I was deeply disappointed in the lies. I was charged 1,000 cleaning fees. After spending hours and hours scrubbing, vacuuming, & shining. It didn’t matter that I paid a deposit for our dog. Or that I scrubbed the oven clean for hours. Or cleaned the toilets, the walls, the cupboards, washed the floors. None of this mattered. Then they denied I ever paid a pet fee. To top it off. I once gave a money order for $80 that I owed and they claimed it never happened. I couldn’t find the receipt and it was their word against mine. So because they forgot and lost it I had to pay again. The only thing these apartments care about is finding a way to get money from you. With lies and deceit. I have to file for bankruptcy to avoid false claims. When I asked Julia who did work there at the time. If she still does I don’t know. I wanted to know how truthful she was being in the clean fee. I asked her if the cupboards clean? She said no. This made me irate. I then knew the extent of their lies. Because I had cleaned out the cupboards very well. So I knew she was making false claims. The only problem was the carpet in one bedroom from the dog. But that’s what a deposit and monthly pet fee should be for right. I got no deposit back either. So please before making that leap of no return read this first. I hope it helps you. They are in disguise. Pretending to be oh so kind. The kind reviews are from bribes of gifts you may win for giving your review. Who’s going to say bad with that in mind.
Not a good place to live. If you are looking for a good place and to save money I dont recommend this place. They have ridiculous fees that they dont notify you about, the staff is disorganized they have to have better communication skills within their staffs, when one staff member tells you something the other tells you something different. Parts of the apartment are easily falling apart theres spiders and roaches and the staff say that maintenance will be there at a certain day and when that day comes along no one shows up or maybe they show up three days later, but thats just maybe. I dont think they put as much effort as they say they do. They have problems with the residents. When you want them to reach out to you for any problems you have they never get back to you. They say they remodel that apartments, but I dont think that know what they are talking about. Maybe their apartment is remodel, but sure can say the same for us. To be honest they try to just get money out of you...we dont have money that we pull out from our ass we have children we need to feed and other bills too. But I guess since its not their problem they dont mind. Its sad because I thought this place was going to be a good place, but they just play you into living here, this place is just sad. They need to improve in so much things.
Dont go here. They tried to change the price which did not work for them so after approved to move in the night before arrived in Salt Lake they backed out of the lease so they could rent to someone willing to pay more and now two months later still trying to get the refund from them. Cost thousands in a last minute hotel!
Managment is a joke to deal with!Lived here for 2 weeks and left as soon as I could. Found cockroaches on day 1, after they fumigated for the 3rd time I still had roaches appearing! Had no warm water for the first week here because managment has no idea how their buildings are set up.The unit they show you is nice and clean but what they give you is the complete opposite. Ask to see the unit you will get! This place is not worth it!
I moved in to apartments on the green a few months ago and I love it!!! The apartments are renovated and close to downtown and I love the dog wash and park. The office staff are amazing and friendly. Me and my husband had a great experience moving in. I really recommend this apartments.
I been living here for 2 years and Lareen and Austin they are great people and they help me with everything I recommend everyone who’s looking for an apartment to live here
Really good attention by the staff
2 totally different systems to do rent statements and each one of them has different charges. they cant even get the charges right. 3 months in the row I got a note saying that I owe money. but on the company app that does the statements -witch it charges $7- says my balance is $0. I had to pay more than my statements saying to just get rid off the problem, yet I received a text message saying that I still owe them money even though before paying my rent for this month I contacted them to make sure the numbers are correct.
Ive lived here for 5 years. The staff are great. If anything needs to be repaired, they are thorough and fast. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of trees!
So in the time I lived here the apt changed owners twice and truck was vandalized, had my spare stolen and someone was murdered in the parking area 50 feet from my door. Also this apt has roaches. Upon asking them to come spray for bugs, I was given a notice stating if they have to come back I will be charged $200. Mind you Im borderline OCD when it comes to being clean. So after my initial lease was up I left. Only to be charged an additional $500 for cleaning. The apartment was spottless when I moved out. I shampooed the carpet and everything. DONOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS. There are better ones in the area. Totally not worth the price or the hassle. I live in a newer gated aptment now. Extremely happy to be rid of this apartment.
Well coming into the apartment, I was a little skeptical about the apartments but after living there for a whole year, I was very happy with apartment. The apartment was in reasonable condition and if there was anything that I thought was unacceptable, they were able to come in and fixed it. Ive had no problem getting things done. At my last apartment, I could not get anything fixed but here they not bad at all. The office staff is not bad at either, they are very helpful. Had some noisy neighbors upstairs and they were able to help me take care of that problem. And when I moved out, I was able to walk my apartment with the maintenance guy to make sure that I wasnt getting any crazy charge and gave me an idea of some of the things that I would get charged and what I should be fine with. I got the majority of money back and so I was happy. So yeah, I would consider renting them again if I move back.
So i been here for a little bit but since the moment i walked. It staff is amazing. Specially Edwin he is the best any problem i have go to him and he is on it getting maintenance making sure it was done .he is just the most aweaome persone .i just love it here.
I enjoy living here. Everyone in the office/maintenance are friendly and very understanding and any time I have needed maintenance or assistance they have been on top of it.
Lorne and Justin were amazing had and unusual problem and they went entirely out their way to help me. They were Fantastic!!!
They never answer their phone, and love to give the runaround. They owe me $200 and have been giving me the runaround for 3 months. Don’t trust them.Update: They continue to tell me that they are waiting for my check to arrive. Even snail mail doesnt take this long. They are untrustworthy and just plain vile to deal with due to the runaround and lies.
The manager is so rude last time she didn’t even let my sister in law talk to her just threw a paper at her, we are Hispanic I don’t know if she thinks she’s white or what because she speaks Spanish but she only tries to speak English like if she was so good at it . They should totally change the manager . She’s nothing but rude and racist person . ! I don’t recomend this apartment they charge you for everything, the water bill is way to expensive and they told us that it wasn’t going to be that bad at first . The apartment are like 1,100 TRUST ME YOU GOING TO END UP PAYING LIKE 1,300 or more monthly !!!
Loraine the Manager isabsolutly wonderful helpful n very professional the maitnance Manny n jeane are just as great very helpful hard workin .This place has improved so much since these 3 joined the team ....Great place to live...
My family and I have been considering moving to Salt Lake. Edwin has been helping us and giving us lots of helpful information he has gone above and beyond to help, we are highly considering the move and we recommend this place because of Edwin! 😊
All of the reviews are true! Please read and be aware before you decide to move in here! All of the apartments are run down and falling apart. They are infested with roaches primarily and then other insects and rodents. The pest people may or may not come. The office will argue that they did even when you sit at home waiting on them to arrive. I took care of my pest issue myself. All of the apartments are overprice for the conditions of them. Even the so-called remodeled ones are made of cheap materials. You can go somewhere else and get a brand new apartment for the same price. Most of the people that live here are on Housing or getting help from the church so they just deal with it. They lie to you regarding extra fees that you dont see until the water bill comes. You are paying for trashed to be picked up and this happens mostly in the warmer months. In the winter, it was more like once a week. We took our trash to another apartment dumpster. They will not pick up boxes even when they are broken down. You are responsible for dumping those along with any other larger items. There are flies and bugs everywhere in the warmer months. The dog poo is ridiculous if you have neighbors with dogs that dont clean up. There is a designated dog park; however, people hang their laundry on the side of the fences and children are often seen playing in it. The maintenance people are nice, but extremely slow and lazy. You will almost have to go be rude and on the fighting side to get something done. You may report it several times before its even acknowledged. I once saw an infant walking in the parking lot, another child ran to pick him up. Children fight, steal, and break other kids toys. Dont leave your childs items outside. The pool is small and over crowded for this size of a complex. An adult is supposed to be with the children; however, this does not happen. There are many small African children unsupervised without life jackets on. They are very rough with one another and will often try to fight with one another. I have seen them bring their bikes in, ride them around the pool, and even try to put them in the pool. They bring items to play in pool that does not belong in that environment. The apartments are so old that you can hear your neighbors. I can hear them watching tv, flushing the toilet, vacuuming, shutting their closet door, etc. I have never seen security on the complex in my year here. The complex grounds are clean, its the ill-mannered kids that throw things down, dont pick up trash, trash the pool area, and trash the duck pond. The leasing office people are rude and do not care. They simply want your money. The current manager has poor English speaking skills which is absurd. They are very difficult to work with. They will even huddle in the office to talk about other tenants in their native language. Do not live here unless you want roaches on your belongings, children beating up your child, children stealing from your child, things constantly falling apart, and feeling like you have thrown money down the drain to live in a dump. The Slums
My husband has been dealing with them for 3 months now, and all they do is give you the runaround. They owe us a refund of $200 and keep saying they are waiting on it to arrive. 3 months for a check to arrive is bull.
It is a great place to live and a great community, the office people are nice and helpful, my daughter loves the green grass and the nice people, her favorite is Edwin he is pretty awsome and good attitude thanks buddy for being nice and good conversation
Horrible place to live. I would never recommend renting an apartment here. I signed a lease in April of 2016 and as of today the rent has went up $150 not including the utility bill they charge each unit for water, sewer, trash, cam fees, service fees, parking spot, washer &dryer. It has slowly increased each month by at least $20. I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath and im paying now close to $1200.00 just for the rent. Office Staff keeps changing for a reason and Ive yet to meet someone easy to work with. My lease is up the end of this month and i cannot wait. When im paying as much as the other tenants for the utility bill and I only have 2 adults and a toddler in my apartment vs. 6-8 adults in a 2 bedroom apartment its ridiculous. Theres no way we use the same amount of water as an apartment with that many people in it. I am tired of being kind, the way things run here is unprofessional and unfair.
Office personal is great easy to talk to understandable, friendly maintenance guys are very helpful 👍 keep the good improvement Apartments on the green .I do like my community, peaceful and respectful...
Zero stars. Was approved and had an apartment held and the night before move in was told they didnt have any apartments left. Costing over $1,000 in last minute hotel for a week to find another place. Still trying (month 3) to get my $200 refund, which they just keep saying should have arrived from corporate already. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE GUYS. Dishonest and very unprofessional.
The worst place you could imagine. The worst staff you could think of. They are all about money. Always trying to figure out a new way to charge you. Its like bermudas triangle. Just when I think I have gotten rid of the place and moved out. They charge me over $1500 cleaning fee. Not to mention I already paid $700 deposit when I first moved in. I broke my back cleaning cupboards and the oven and got new drip pans for the stove. I cleaned out the fridge all the bathroom cupboards the toilets the sinks that place was perfectly cleaned. We had a dog and the carpet in one room had to be replaced because of him. But I paid $300 deposit in that apartment and $350 in the last apartment before that. I was charged a pet deposit twice. When I mentioned that-they conveniently forgot. They said the $300 was not a pet deposit but was for the last apartment cleaning fee. But it was a lie. So when I asked staff if the cupboards were clean. They said no. I was appalled. I said you are lying. You cant just make up a price and expect me to pay it. They lost a money order of mine for $89 and because they couldnt find it they told me I had to pay it again. They charged me twice in October for water sewer trash upon exit and one more time $99 for 3 days. They pretend they dont know how to count and keep asking for outrsgeous charges. But if you try to discuss it. They say I cant talk about this. I am sending it to collections. I have never dealt with such lying crooks in my life. Do not trust these people. They are very bad. They said that rent is $66 a day to stay any longer than your termination date. So 3 days over was $280. What kind of math is that!! So off to court we go these guys dont deserve no more miss nice guy. Im done! Water sewer trash alone after parking rent and any other add ons last bill $144.🙄☹😳 I told Julia I thought you were a decent person but after that lie she told me that the cupboards were not clean. I know who she really is. A crook just like they all are. Thieves thieves thieves. Plus lots of mice and cockroaches
This complex is in very good conditions the area is always clean and organized they attend your petitions and people can brief and field harmonious and safety always i recommend for families
These people are ridiculous. Its sad but every negative post here is 100% accurate. I believe that this organization is fraudulent through and through and is in cahoots with the tow company they contract with. They will attempt to sue you if given the opportunity to. Be sure to document EVERY transaction you make with them. Make copies and be ready to fight them because sooner or later, the sucker punch is coming...
Do not sign the welcome home agreement until you have seen the apartment!!! We went and applied for an apartmemt. Paid the deposit then got to see the actual one we were moving into the next day and it was a complete dump! I did not want it after that for the price and asked for my deposit. They said it was not refundable and after arguing for 10 min she finally asked if I signed the welcome home agreement and I said no and they had to give me my deposit back! After that they will probably try and get you to sign it before showing. Dont sign anything until you have seen the unit you will be moving into! Horrible apartments and crooked staff! Maintenance guy was cool! But grounds were dirty and the people didnt look as if they cared about the place!Be cautious!!
They listed apartment for rent for 749$ 2 bed and 2 bath 877 sq when l look web site l found 1 bedroom over 1000$ l dont know why they lies about apartment prices !!no need to hide how match the rent for these apartments be clear !!
This place is a joke. They seem to have a new manager every freaking week. None of them have any idea whats going on, or how to properly manage the place.
This apartment is the best in matter of management and maintenance whenever you ask services they are quick.
Apartments on the Green is a great place to live! Everyone who works there is super friendly! I am very happy to make my home at Apartments on the Green. I am planning to stay for years. The area always looks clean and presentable. I love living here! Vanessa and her staff are very professional and helpful. The schools are close so that is very helpful for me and my kids. Maintenance is a great help and always kind if they get notified in a timely matter, they even help when you have an emergency in the middle of the night. We never expected such exceptional customer service from the women in the office and such prompt maintenance. The grounds are always kept up to standards and they have always been prompt on getting things in the common area fixed in a timely manner. We moved into the remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bathroom and its just like being in an ivory home, without the high cost! They are making major upgrades to the whole property—a new fence in dog park; running water for the dogs; more lighting all over so it’s safer; completely upgrading all apartments to a more modern look! They’re way cute! We are so happy to live somewhere we can actually call home. Everyone wants to help. Have never had an issue with neighbor noise. Even with multiple young children living above me. The price for storage on site is a very good price as well. I will definitely be re-signing my lease!
Its really pleasant experience living here. Staff is cooperative and helpful.
DO NOT RENT HERE! Apartments On The Green is by far the worst apartments Ive lived in, when I moved in the Apartment wasnt quite clean yet so I had to clean it myself maintenance is terrible they take days sometimes weeks to go fix any issue in your apartment, when the time came to move out I cleaned up the apartment left it in perfect condition and they still charged me 200$ for the cleaning?? And plus some things that were in my garage went missing, I went to the front office to claim and all they said I will check with the maintenance guys but I never got my things back. This place is terrible all around
Ive lived in this community for a year, I highly suspect that the majority of the adverse reviews on here were submitted by those unhappy in their lives in general who may not have the best rental etiquette, lol. There have been a couple of annoyances, as will happen in any community of this size, however, I appreciate the friendly staff and the companys assistance when tenants (me) fall on tough times. They worked with me each time I had an issue with my rent and I am considering staying on at the end of my lease period.
The apartments are great and the people in the office are really good doing their jobs. The apartments are very clean.
