This was my first time using a service like this, and I was incredibly impressed. The guys who helped me were informative and polite, and thoroughly discussed all maintenance with me (What should be changed and whats looking alright). They made sure to show or tell me why any other service should be considered (like how dirty my air filter was...). While the basic oil change was a bit more expensive than I anticipated, the service was beyond exceptional. With the politeness and convenience I experienced today, I will most definitely be using this service again. Thank you guys for your hardwork!

Dishonest staff.  Ive been to Valvoline in Salisbury. MD many times before and have been very happy with the service.  Unfortunately I stopped by there SEPT 21 where they did an oil change and attempted to change the rear differential fluid on my Tacoma. Turns out they drained the fluid but never refilled with new fluid. About an hour after I left while driving in town, I heard a horrible grinding noise coming from the rear differential. I pulled over immediately and called and spoke with Chris, the manager I was dealing with at the store. He told me that the sound was probably due to no fluid in the rear differential???  My mechanic in Berlin, MD later that day confirmed this by seeing the fill plug was NEVER taken off...completely dry and no leaking. As I waited for almost 2 hours at the store, Chris did explain that they had problems with the fill plug due to it being stripped, BUT, he also confirmed with me before I drove away that everything was good to go... WTF!!?? The truck now has approximately $3500 in damage due to the fact they have to replace the entire rear differential. Needless to say I could not be more pissed with this major inconvenience.  I spoke with the other manager Akil and their customer care team today and they are refunding me for the service, apparently paying for the entire repair and paying for a rental car. We will see. My truck is now waiting 2-3 days for the parts at the shop in Berlin. A TOTAL SH*T SHOW....stay away from this place.

My experience at the Salisbury location was extremely poor . I, in the past several years have used this location frequently with both of my cars . Today I waited in line for 20 minutes . The manager informed me rudely that he would not change my oil or rotate my tires because my car was rejected. I informed him that not 5000 miles earlier this very station preformed an oil change on this car. I told the new manager that I serviced both of my cars here Salisbury exclusively. He indicated that I was not welcomed back with either vehicle.I left and went to Grease Monkey and in 15 minutes they completed my oil change and tire rotation.They have now won my business. I will NEVER come back to Valvoline.You can thank your rude incompetent manager for losing a valued customer.Sincerely,Michael McNulty ( 0 stars posted )

This place is amazing! They provided great service on my car and exceptional customer service. They seemed to care about my concerns and took their time explaining things to me. They were patient and professional. I plan to make this the only place where I take my car!! Great work Gentlemen!!

Had car serviced today at Salisbury, MD location. The crew there is always on point. Today Scott was outside with a free smiles sign and did an excellent job throughout our visit. The other guy there today that handled our transaction was professional also. Scott was calling out what he was doing to the vehicle and seemed knowledgeable and actually happy to be there and working there today! We all have to work, but finding genuinely happy people while on a routine maintenance visit made my day brighter. Thank you Valvoline for outstanding customer service and I love the car wash coupons!

Arrived at 3:39 pm on a Tuesday for a conventional oil change, 2 cars ahead of me in bay 3. I did not leave until 5:13 pm, 6 employees up top and 1 tech below. Instant by definition is expedient, molasses moves faster in the winter. Will not be returning

Real quick very friendly

I normally have a great experience at the Salisbury, MD Valvoline. Today I had a groupon for my oil change and they would not accept it. Before I told them I had a groupon they were nice but after were standoffish. They didn’t offer me the free car wash they normally offer after an oil change and rushed me out even though I paid with my credit card after they said they wouldn’t accept the groupon. I’m out the money I had to pay for the groupon and probably won’t go back because of this bad experience.

I called ahead and they texted me a coupon for my oil change. The only thing is if they are busy and you need to use the bathroom,they are closed because of the COVID19. Other then that great service and polite staff

Between Walmart, Jiffy Lube, and Valvoline -- Valvoline definitely takes the cake. I always have a quick and seamless experience, and I can usually trust them not to try up-selling me on anything.If theres any feedback I could give: They claim that you get a free car wash with every oil change, but Ive only been offered that once. I dont know if its just because they forget or maybe the machine is broken, but itd be nice to have a bit more consistency with that offer.

Whats cost for oil change?

They do a giid job, very detailed. I wish they would just chge the oil sometimes and leave me alone about filters and such. All and all they do a great job and you can sit in your car while they do it. It takes about 15 mins. And you get a free car wash. Go online and google coupons for a good discount.

They had me buy unnecessary products and lied to me when I asked why. I will never do business with them again I called to speak with the manager about my concerns and he hung up on me. Their prices are jacked up and theyll give you a dumb reason as to why.

I had a great experience at Valvoline. Jamal was really friendly and informative and the rest of the team was great as well. They do try to sell additional services, but were very understanding when I declined. Ill plan on returning here for regular maintenance.

I feel duped! Had a coupon for oil change but I feel like they only offered that because of their jacked up prices. I should a went to bbn precision tune right across street. They will beat the prices all day. And the car wash barely washed my car...

These guys do it right. No complaints what so ever! They are polite timely and efficient at what they do. Which is keep my Nissan running like a dream.

First time ever visiting this location and was blown away. I usually go to a local mechanic but theyve changed their policies and require a drop off for oil changes, instead of making an appointment. With two toddlers and a business to run, its less than convenient, so I shopped around for somewhere else to go. Tried Jiffy Lube and had a terrible experience with an insanely high bill, which they couldnt explain but wouldnt budge on. This time I tried Valvoline Instant Oil Change. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Super courteous staff, easy in and out, fastest oil change Ive ever had AND, because my truck took more oil than most vehicles, they gave me a discount on my cabin air filter (which greatly needed to be changed) and a voucher for a free car wash at my leisure. A+ customer service-- I would recommend this spot to anyone needing an oil change!

Quite an expensive oil change. Above average service, but pushy up-sells ruin the visit nearly every time. Losing my faith and trust in this place. They even broke my wifes glove compartment a while back and refused to fix it or compensate her. Luckily my friend was able to fix it for free though.

Excellent fast thorough service.

Ive taken two vehicles there. One was an older Ford Explorer the other was a new Honda Fit. Decided once to change my Ford explorers oil by myself one time after they changed my oil prior. The screw in my oil pan was screwed on so tight it stripped the threads getting it off. Had to go buy a new screw and they put on the oil filter way too tight. As for my Honda Fit, full synthetic oil 4 quarts, $90 to have it changed. Just the oil, nothing else, when competitors are offering changes lower than $75 including tire rotation and other fluids check. After the first visit for my Honda is when I tried to change my Fords oil. After seeing the carelessness they treated my Explorer with, I dont trust them anymore to change my newer Hondas oil. Outrageous prices for poor workmanship. The only comment I have is they never pressured me to buy anything I didnt need.
