Bad experience still not sure to what extent at this point.Took a car that needed a tune up that I have owned for 5 years now, and have had tuned up before.Left 179 dollars short and same or worse problem 45 minutes later.Now, Mike is the guy who told me an hour for a tune up I knew only takes only 15 minutes. I have stood right beside my old mechanic while he tuned the exact same car up. Then, he removed my platinum and put some black type of ish as if Im not ASE certified and the child of an ex service mechanic. Im going to know my vehicle. Plus just holding cdls I gotta know a little because of PT.Either way the owner says he fixed it . I didnt have time to do a point to point inspection because I had to hit the highway immediately and it seemed to be running fine so I went on to have my oil changed tires balanced and hit the highway. So Im have some putting already and its been 3 days. Wth?

Great place for an auto inspection-Great Place for Oil Change -A/C repair with appointment.I have moved to Salisbury this year around Feb/Mar and have been here several times. Its not to far from my house.Really good staff & the service is quick for most jobs Ive came in for!

Called in 5 minutes beforehand for an inspection and when I arrived I was turned away because it was “too late” not even a clear answer yes or no, I had to talk to the guy for a little bit before he said no. Not a reliable place to go.

A few weeks ago I came here for an oil change. They were super nice and knowledgeable. To top it off it was a short wait for them to get everything done and they even vacuumed my floors quickly also. Two words for this place fast and friendly!

I purchased a vehicle from Trinity Car Brokers in mid September just after the hurricane. I’m not from Salisbury, and I drove from Charlotte to look at the car. Before doing so, I brought it to Coffey’s and asked them to look at it. The gentleman who looked at the vehicle was very cordial, and he didn’t even charge me for the inspection. Every dealing I had with their staff was fine. But here’s the issue.The guy at Coffey’s who seems to be the owner or manager looked me in the eye, shook my hand, and told me that the car was good to go. Other than minor leaks, basic issues that come with age, bumps and scratches, that sort of thing, they told me it was alright. They gave me their word.After speaking with my mechanic at home, The vehicle needs about $3000 of work. They recommended that I just walk away from it. They say it’s not safe to drive. And it’s not complex electrical stuff. It’s leaking oil from the main seals, the serpentine belt is shot, and it has a fuel leak. All stuff that I would imagine any self-respecting mechanic would find. All things that I have no doubt the staff at Coffey’s would have been more than able to find.So there’s two options in my view.1. They didn’t find the issues. That makes them either lazy or incompetent.2. They saw the issues and chose not to tell me. If that’s the case, I’m disappointed. I’m disappointed because I choose to believe that here in the south, a man’s word still means something. I believe that your word is your bond.I think these are good people. I really do. But in my case, I’m extremely disappointed with the outcome. And I think others should be aware of my experience so that they can decide for themselves.

I love these guys. Im a single mom with 2 kids and not a lot of money. They are upfront and honest and dont take advantage of anyone. Ive been a loyal customer for awhile now. Theyve helped me with many issues with my car and even if I just stop to ask a few questions they help out me out. My only suggestion is to not send their loyal customers to randy hall for something they are unable to do for any reason because randy halls business is the opposite of the excellence at coffeys!!!
