I have dealt with Hyundai for over 20 years. Have owned 2 Hyundai Sonatas. My 2003 is still going strong. I must point out that this Service Dept has been top notch. Samantha the Service Manager has gone out of her way to assist me, helping me understand and providing exceptional service. Austin has also been great too. I honestly have always received great service from Pohanka Hyundai of Salisbury. Thank you for all you do. I wish other Hyundai service departments cared like you!

I came to Pohanka Hyundai the first week of September and bought my 2022 Kona Sel and I was amazed. I have bought and serviced at the Pohanka dealerships since 2004. BUT, Have never met such a great GROUP of people anywhere. I had 2 beautiful sales people, but what I found so amazing was that everyone there From Mr Ryan Fitzgerald all the way through the show room and finance were all friendly. Buying an automobile can take a bit of time an can be boring. Well visit Pohanka Hyundai it was great fun. I left there thinking, WHY DID I NOT COME HERE SOONER? I am Beyond happy with my Deal and my Kona, Next I will have the pleasure of getting to know the service people. Because that is where my Kona belongs they know him better than anyone. And I have already heard great things about them.

Staying in OC for the week and got a flat on my Palisade. The folks at Pohanka Hyundai worked with me over the phone to order a new tire and I drove in to get installed, lickety split. Super helpful and friendly staff. So darn refreshing, What a great experience.

The service department is 5 star. I dropped my car off and had a very nice employee in the service department, Garrett, check me in very quickly. I gave him my number so he could text when my vehicle was done since a friend was picking me so I did not have to sit in the waiting room for a couple of hours. I did get the text when it was done and got back to find my Tucson right out from and clean from their car wash. Garrett checked me out and even helped me use the coupons I had downloaded for my phone. I was having trouble pulling them up so he confirmed with me what they were for and he did apply them for me even though I did not have them to show to him. I will go back to Pohanka for my future service needs on my Hyundai.

Requested an appointment through the website. Brought car in 30 minutes prior to the appointment. 2 hours later the car was still where I parked it untouched. Just needed a simple oil change. I was then told appointments were not available to be made, even though I got an email confirming the request. Took the car without getting service done.

The Sales Department deserves a 5 star. They were great to work with when buying my Sonata. If ever there is a need or concern, they go out of their way to assist you.The Service Department, on the other hand, is HORRIBLE. The agents who work face to face with Hyundai owners are extremely ignorant, short tempered, and unprofessional. I actually dread having to reach out to this department. This department alone has caused me to refer family and friends to other dealerships. I, too, would not purchase another vehicle from this location because of the unprofessionalism of the Service Department!

Very busy on a Saturday. Had to wait a couple hours.Did find what was wrong with my battery, and even discovered my tag lights were out.Used to provide free snacks, but now only offers limited drinks as of December 2020.Okay service, but wish it was faster.Some staff did not wear masks consistently.

Called and made an appointment with Cullen, when we showed up he was eager to help us and very attentive to our needs. He was so sweet and not at all pushy, he made sure we were absolutely happy with what we were getting and got us in the perfect car at the right price. I went to Pohanka n Cedric Armeood was my car salesman I explained to him that I had a lot to do that day I didn’t have a lot of time and that I needed a car I explain to him that my credit was not good I had a repossession on there and I couldn’t do anything with credit acceptance he told me to sit down and relax and asked me what I would like I was undecided on what vehicle I wanted So he asked me what was I driving now I told him I had been driving a rental rental car for over 8 months I couldn’t approve anywhere he said today was gonna be my last day in a rental I would be leaving with a car I ended up with a 2017 Malibu I explain to him that I would have to come back and get the car because I had no insurance he told me don’t worry about it I’m gonna leave with my car today and he had someone come over and help me get insurance also Cedric was such a big help very patient very fast for now on I will refer everyone to him I had such a wonderful experience with him he’s my new car salesman for now on

Overall, the service has been very good here. Generally do not have to wait too long. They offer a free car wash which is nice. No major repairs here yet but routine maintenance has been pretty smooth so far.

I thought the SUV I was buying was gonna be a certain payment, well i had my car delivered to me and the salesman brought the paperwork with him, and he did not explain any of the paperwork and he still told me my payment was gonna be under 500 a month. Well a week went by and I did not see any paperwork my copies, I called numerous times left many messages still no call back, well then 2 weeks ago Larry my salesman gets the finance lady involved I tell her why is my payment 527.88 a month and nothing crickets she said I will get back to you well that was a week and a half ago and still no copies of the paperwork wow just wow I guess they tell there customers one price just so you will buy the car and when you get your first payment in the mail SURPRISE PLEASE BEND OVER NOW. ....
