They provide helpful suggestions when doing routine maintenance that you would otherwise not be aware.There is no high pressure tactics or recommendations that are profit focused and in the exclusive interest of the shop.Highly recommend utilizing them beyond towing and they have mailer coupons that can save you money on several services they offer.

I needed a Maryland state car inspection on a used car I bought out of Maryland, and I needed it done quickly. I needed to drive the car to North Carolina in four days. The temporary out of state tags would expire before I got back. Grants let me leave the car for two days so they could fit it into their busy schedule. They got it done with time to spare!!! They are always so helpful, even with advice on difficult car problems.

Tristan from grants service center responded to my AAA call because my car broke down. They arrived in less than 15 minutes to the site of the car. Tristan was very helpful and also showed me some pointers on battery upkeep. He not only did he fix the corrosion problem on my battery but he also diagnosed my starter as the real issue. He then proceeded to teach me what I should do if the car doesnt start again. All in all wonderful experience they also referred me to a mechanic at grants that would be able to assist if the problem occurs again. THANK YOU TRISTIAN!!

Tristan came to my hotel because I had a flat tire. I didn’t think that I had a spare because I couldn’t find it. Tristan was so kind and friendly and showed me where it was hiding. He changed my tire very quickly and recommended some places for me to get my tire repaired. Great service and very helpful.

Eventhough the tow company usually doesn’t handle those types of calls, I’m so thankful for Tristan the tow driver coming out to check it out because we were wrong. Tristan came out to replace my flat tire and the tire wouldnt release from where it was stored. I honestly was thinking we were going to have to tow the car in to replace the flat but he was able to finally get the spare loose and then the tire replacement went very fast & smoothly. I hate these automatic door locks and the timers that decide how long the car/truck can be unlocked before the computer takes over. Icons that tell me when essentials functions need attention are fine, BUT I want to determine when and for how long I want to be locked in or out of my own vehicle!! Needed brake service to pass DMV inspection. At quick review, they let me know what needed to be done and set an appointment. After doing the actual work, on closer inspection, Chris saw the certain work wasn’t needed and adjusted the bill to reflect the new lower price. Most places probably would have replaced the parts anyway and kept the larger bill. We have used them for years and always find them pleasant and integrity oriented!

My fiance and I walked out of Rise Up this morning, got into our car, and the battery was completely dead. We called AAA and thankfully Tristan arrived, way ahead of what we were told to expect, serviced our battery with ease, and installed a new one way faster than I would have expected.This man was polite, and let us drink our coffee and eat out breakfast while he worked on our car in the rain. So I have gotten my oil changed twice here. First time they noticed a bolt almost gone on my lift kit which was a serious danger. Thank god they caught that. So my wife and I thought the battery was going dead in our Jeep. We called AAA and they came out and tested it and said the battery was fine. Then a couple of months later it started starting very hard with multiple tries. We swung into PepBoys and they tested the battery and said it was good. The condition got worse so we took it to Grants (which we should have done first). Chris pulled the batteries (yes there are two) out of the Jeep, tested them and called me to tell me they were both bad. He said the other two tests were done with the batteries still connected and were showing false positives. He replaced both batteries and the Jeep is running like new again. I dont know why I ever go anywhere else.

Tristan was very pleasant and professional, explaining my options regarding the current condition of my 5 year old battery. My decision to replace the battery was based on his explanation. I just picked my car up this evening he did a good job fixing it but my car is absolutely filthy on the inside. I just cleaned out the whole inside the door handles are black I guess from the grease on the mechanics hands. There was also grease on my seat and the floor
