Friendly staff. Open 24 hours a day and only $10 a month. The only thing that would make it better would be if they offered group classes, but other than that, great place!

Montre always does a great job deep cleaning the bathrooms on the overnight shift. I come here to workout late at night and it’s nice to have a well sanitized bathroom to freshen up in after a good workout. Thanks guys for your hard work!

Today was my first day at this location. I was happily surprised that they encouraged people to clean the machines before and after they used them. Its very spacious.

I hardly ever do reviews but I wanted to say, “Thank you!” for getting me into a gym (I have started so many gym memberships and never used them) and helping me start an awesome exercise program (I met with Rocio and she was great!) ❤️I have visited SO many gyms and just wasn’t comfortable. I feel so comfortable at Planet Fitness and REALLY look forward to my workouts 🏋️‍♀️The gym is clean (in addition to us, the members, being instructed to clean-the PF crew is ALWAYS cleaning and restocking cleaning supplies), inviting (love the colors and low lights), convenient (can’t get better than 24 hrs)as well as the price for the Black Card included amenities (hydro massage, tanning, and Total Body enhancement which is definitely extra at other gyms!)I LOVE your gym and thanks again! 🥰

I like the 24/7 availability and good selection of equipment this gym offers. It goes great with my ever-changing work schedule. The staff have always been friendly and helpful too. Would recommend. 👍

Ever since I got my membership 9 months ago. They’ve been working on getting the wifi fixed. It has never been fixed. I have already asked multiple times when they are going to fix it. And they always point the finger at the manager. Please fix it.

Nice gym. Seen a lot of other planet fitness from traveling and this isnt my favorite but mainly because of the size. Do think it lacks for being a brand new facility. Would have believed it if u said it was an old facility

I am glad they are open, just like everyone else. That being said it is usually packed In the evenings. I am still able to get in a great workout.

I’m just happy waiting for them to open. Missed the place. While I was there, the place is super clean. It’s more cardio focus in there but has plenty of room for strength training. No real wait time on the machine for the hours I went. The app is real easy to use and shows how to work the machines.

They don’t enforce social distancing or mask policy.Went in and there were multiple people inside the locker rooms not wearing any type of mask, sitting down and talking. Also multiple people on the gym floor with mask half covering their mouth or not covering their nose at all.Guy at the front desk was busy helping people check in, but they don’t really have a way to enforce state mask policy.App was also wrong in saying it was only 30%-40% capacity as every machine was full and all the weights had groups of people waiting to use them.

The front desk staff needs to work on their customer service skills. They never greet you what so ever.

Front desk worker John is a extremely unprofessional. I had planet fitness give me a new card, for some reason it wouldn’t scan and neither would my phone number. John refused to help me even though the membership is valid, he then told me to leave and yelled curse words at me. Terrible planet fitness and experience.

Great spot! Unfortunately way to many people not wearing their mask... a few staff walked by them and didnt tell them to keep their mask on..

Jessica, Jackie and Jonathan are great for this location. Soft targets for sure about what goes on around and in the place and mall but if you trust they can help you make a change you will be able to make your own minds up and get into great shape alone ... How bout a whisper free ceiling one day management?

I love this place so far! Everything is super clean and staff is super friendly. For Black Club Members, the Hydromassage beds are enough of an incentive to go to the gym. Also being able to bring a guest each time is so fun and makes it fun to go. I love the no judgment atmosphere and the air conditioning. I previously went to the YMCA, and Planet Fitness is so much more enjoyable and so affordable!

I’ve had memberships at other gyms but this one is by far the best one I’ve joined. Not too busy (it could be because it’s still fairly new), and the classes are totally different than other classes I’ve attended at the other gyms. You get one on one training with a trainer, and the one I’ve been working with, Rocio is great! Explains things thoroughly and is patient and encouraging. The total body enhancement is a must try! You get a welcoming feeling upon entering which is great being that going to the gym is intimidating all it’s own. So 5 stars to the team at this location!

It is new and very clean andIt is never very crowded. So far so good! Unfortunately it hasnt been open for months! Someone called me Fluffy the other day.

One of the employees that cleans the equipment and checks-in members should work on her manners, I believe her name is Jackie. She should acknowledge members that are trying to check-in instead of wasting our time by gossiping and not even looking where she is scanning the bar code. She is the only reason why Im removing a star from this place. The rest of the gym and workers are great though, nothing to complain about.

Beware!!! I was really excited to join this gym until they kept insisting that my account number was not on file . Please note that I provide them my information 3 times within the past month.Due to these circumstances I had to visit my local bank . It turns out the information I provided was accurate. On top of that, I had to pay a late fee. So I decided to cancel my account.Also, Some of the staff refused to provide me with their corporate number and the owner’s name. I did contact corporate, but they were unable to help because Planet Fitnesses are franchises. In addition t the Salinas Manager Jessica Is not helpful. Unfortunately, she has no customer service skills. She does not make eye contact or speak directly with customers.I do want to acknowledge that there are a few employees that were very helpful. However I will not be coming back to the back due to poor management and billing errorA on their end.

Clean gym & friendly staff. The reason why Im not rating it 5 stars is because the staff could do a better job on warning some people not to grunt. Dont get me wrong, I grunt sometimes too but some people just completely exaggerate. Staff literally walk by as these people sound like theyre on the brink of having a heart attack & usually these people are the ones who dont clean up the equipment after using it. I wouldnt have a problem if this gym didnt have a no grunting policy but they do. So in my opinion, either enforce the policy or just completely remove it.UPDATE: Staff & management have really stepped up & let these grunters know to keep it down. Great job👍👍

The gym is open and beautiful. Tons of cardio and amazing locker rooms! All the team members are friendly and attentive. And they are open 24/7 you can’t beat it for the price!!!!!

Worst smith machines ever. The bar and lock and reversed from every otyer smith machine Ive ever used. Including 14 other PF locations. Also, who puts a smooth bar on a smith rack and expects people to use it? Overall the gym is clean and obviously new, I know I wont be back since the smith rack is primarily what I go for.

Been looking for a weekend Gym for when Im visiting from the Bay Area. I was super freaken excited when I heard PF was opening in Salinas - $10 you cant beat that!Today I visited for the first time and well the workout was AMAZING! The place - Its new, its clean, the equipment is stellar and varies from those found at a 24 hour. Could have made more real estate (space) for HIIT activities or made the warm/up stretching space bigger. I could only imagine during peak hours that place is gonna be a big mess, just a little too crammed. Other than that you will be more than pleased with the new facility. So go on get your sweat on and remember people dont judge, just encourage and Be well !oh and btw....The staff was super friendly and, well, not too hard on the eyes either 😉
