I have intense toothache on and off since this January. I was certain that I needed root canal therapy to get rid of the pain and I wanted the best specialist to do the job, so I made an appointment with Dr. Appelin. But the night before the appointment, my general dentist did a thorough exam & determined that the cause of the pain is from the damage from my brain tumor suppressing the nerves. By the time he finished the exam, it was nearly 7 pm, too late to cancel the appointment with Dr. Appelin on the following day. So I had to call the morning of the appointment as soon as the clinic is open to try to cancel the appointment. I felt terrible to do this the last minute. But there is nothing he could do. When I called, the receptionist was nice and didn’t give me a hard time. She just needed to ask the doctor. Dr. Appelin allowed me to cancel without charge just informed me that he needs 24 hour notice next time. Yes, of course, so reasonable! I wish I could get the appointment with my general dentist much earlier, so I could cancel the appointment with Dr. Appelin much earlier. Then Dr. Appelin could see other patients. I feel so bad. Thank you, Dr. Appelin, for your understanding & generosity! I will refer as many people to you as I could. I already referred a colleague of mine who needs two retreats for a molar and a premolar. Hope she will overcome her fears & get the treatment ASAP.

Dr Applein is a exceptional Doctor of Medical Dentistry! He has excellent bedside manner, knowledgeable, explains things well & most important does a exceptional job.Highly recommend Dr Applelin!!
