We went to a Birthday Party for a 6 year old! Even though it is busy, it is clean and food service is timely. Play equipment is shut down for thorough cleanings hourly and staff are quick to respond to requests. It is a cut above other places of this type, it really stands out!Besides being a play place for kids they have adult beverages, sports TV snd games adults can play. Not to mention a killer Nacho plate! This is my familys 3rd time going in the last few months, and it certainly wont be the last!

I am so glad we found this place! My two boys had a blast. I feel good enough to let my 3 year old roam around by himself for a little while since it seems super safe and the staff are on top of everything. There is a cute baby/toddler area where I could watch my 2 year old from the dining area. I like that they dedicate 30 minutes or so to sanitize the place in between groups coming in and out. The staff made sure there was no rough housing and that older kids kept their masks on. The owner’s two kids were there as well and they were very kind, showing us around and making my sons feel welcomed. Overall we had fun, and we plan on coming back!

This place is poorly organized I had three of my kids going, two girls one boy. The first day that my kids went there it was so hard for them to figure out where to go they were roaming around the whole gymnasium trying to figure out what class they belong to they do not allow parents to watch they get new coaches every time there is no consistency. But that was the least of my problems in my sons class he was being bullied by this one kid and the coach had promised me that he was gonna talk to someone about it and to the parents time keeps going by and my son says that this kid is still messing with him till one time my son came out crying saying that he doesn’t want to go back anymore because no one helps him with this kid that keeps bullying him. I think this place needs to be more organized and there should be more consistency they shouldn’t be switching out coaches all the time and they should really fix their bullying situation

We recently found this gym and are so happy we did! They have such a nice facility! All of the equipment is neat and clean and their business front space is so inviting and cozy. We are taking our two year old daughter here for a parent tot gymnastics class. There are so many options for learning and playing during this class and all the elements are age specific. Michelle does a great job keeping the kiddos on track and we love the stamps at the end of class. The registration process was super easy and prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this gym for classes. It does look like they also have an adventure park, but weve not been yet....another review to come!

We tried out the wigglers class (they offer a free trial of one class). The space is set up with activities for the kids to rotate through and build familiarity with elements and movements. The equipment shows signs of wear, but is safe. As a first-time attendee, we were thrown into the rotations without a lot of instructions. Mostly we watched what the other parent+child pairs were doing and tried to follow along. I have twins and it was a bit too chaotic to wrangle them and figure out what was going on. The kids did love it (they kept saying more class as we walked back to the car), so Im still trying to decide whether or not we will enroll in regular classes.

Hands down, best in door playground in Salem, Oregon. Comfortable seating table areas with good space. They have a lovely mini restaurant inside! Professional staffing who comply with hourly sanitizing process during this pandemic. And best of all the children enjoy every minute playing.

Very Fun for the kids. Things for grownups to play also while we wait. My advice is to go early as you can; it can become a bit warm inside with all those bodies running around. The food is good. Food favorite is the stuffed Philly mushroom. By far this is the best place in town for my kids. They shutdown and sanatized everything throughout the day. it takes 30 min or so. You buy the traction socks when you pay to go in.

We love it here! I have two girls here and it has such a family feel. My littlest talks about Lexy non stop and loves being in her class. I have seen a lot of progress in both my girls here and I love that they offer an open gym. Jennifer at the front desk is the most helpful person ever. Anytime I need to switch things around she is on top of it! The rec meets they do are so fun for the kids and family as well. Overall a really great experience.

My daughter loves it here and that’s all that matters, but the one thing they should do is put up a sign. Informing parents if they sit front row watch your child instead of being on a laptop/phone, back against the window, or even sleeping. Other parents who want to watch their child have to stand in the back while these parents are not even paying attention.

I used to go here for a while back when they had a different location by the Kroc. The place was very run down and I was self taught before I came, but when I did the teachers never taught, they never moved anyone up levels and they never payed attention and i know other parents who agreed! Although the new place is amazing! The teachers are better and the place is more clean looking! Love it here!

If I could give a zero I would. I live in the neighborhood and deal with the horrible traffic issues this business causes on a regular basis. There is no parking in front of the building, yet the parents dropping their kids of don’t feel that the laws apply to them. I have contacted the business over 10 times and asked for their support in this issue. I have seen children almost be hit by cars, as well as accidents, and have almost been hit myself as the reason for no parking is there is not enough room on the street for it. I have been told they are “addressing the issue” yet nothing seems to be done. Myself and my neighbors are tired of dealing with a business that is in-concerned about it’s neighbors and clearly not concerned about the safety of the children attending as they do nothing to solve the “no parking” issues that are creating major safety hazards in the area. The few times I have actually reached a person to “address” this issue they have been rude and dismissive of my concerns about the safety issues they are causing. I have left multiple messages for the owner or manager to call me back and have never had a call returned. As a neighborhood we have resorted to filing complaints with the police department.

We were super disappointed. My daughter was so excited to start gymnastics last year. She was 5 when she started. I noticed big improvements until the constant swapping of instructors, I couldn’t keep up she had 3 or 4. My daughter became less interested over the summer because she couldn’t connect and feel confident with the instructor she ended up with. We tried switching classes as well. She still wants to continue gymnastics so I’ll try to find another gym. I called AE today to figure out her membership and I was again upset and disappointed, no one answered the phone and I just left a message. Another reason for my 3 star rating is that it is incredibly irritating to try and park. Normally, I circled the parking lot at least 3 times, I ended up parking on the side street or in another lot quite a bit. I know that some families feel at home while at AE but we definitely did not. 😕

Weve been taking our 3-year-old to Athletic Edge since he was about 16 months old. I love that you can get your kids enrolled in gymnastics as soon as they begin walking steadily. The experience has definitely contributed to his coordination and strength. The only downside is that the new buildings floor plan is very open and they often have multiple classes going at once, so its noisy and distracting. Its not as unbearably hot in the Summer though, so thats a plus. I would recommend Athletic Edge to any parent who wants to promote their childs fitness in a fun and friendly environment.

We have generally loved AE and recommended it to many friends. The instructors care (shout put to Coach Wendy) and the cost is reasonable. Some downsides are the limitations on class schedules, the overcrowding during certain hours (leading to it being hot & stinky, and a little chaotic), and lack of sufficient parking. They sometimes come off as disorganized (we were recently told to come in for a make-up on a day they were closed for a meet), but we have never had any real grievance. My sons have both benefitted from this program from a very young age, both physically in learning to understand and trust their bodies, but also mentally and socially in how to follow directions, take turns, and adhere to rules.

The new place is nicer than the old location. However these new coaches most are undergraduate students try don’t know how to coach little kids, and often being overwhelmed by numbers of students. Sometimes they even chat to each other during class time and ignore the help their students need. By the way, one of the front desk lady is rude when I requested for makeup class.

Crowded. I had to come for a gymnastics meet. The cost was crazy high, the seating was limited. Seems they are taking advantage of families. Charge so much, then have to stand for 3 hours to watch your child compete. If you want to pay to be punished, go to the dentist and get a root canal instead.
