Highly recommend the Tonsorial Parlor! These guys are all about their craft; every haircut Ive gotten has exceeded my expectations. They are very detailed oriented, and the environment is like no other. Its always spotless, and the guys are extremely friendly.

By far best experience I’ve ever had a barbershop! While most places condone profanity and poor topic of discussion,The Tonsorial Parlor leads by better example and professionalism. I was so taken back by the genuine hospitality of the owner I now take both my children there and strongly recommend It to everybody who asks where I got such a great cut! I moved to Salem recently and needed to find a new place to cut my hair and trim my beard. What drew me into actually calling to make an appointment was their website first, then them actually picking up the phone unlike other barbers in the area.I was pleasantly surprised with how my beard and hair came out. It was way better than expected. I will continue to use them in the future.Also which was different then most places I have been, they have ideas of beard styles to try. Every other place I have had this done just asks what I want done and I usually have no idea, its nice to have some feedback on what would look good besides my wife.

Best place to go and feel comfortable! They have a great team that will get you the haircut you love and the environment is great for all ages! Also the hot chocolate they have in the winter time is the best, but you can’t go wrong with The Tonsorial Parlor!

Christian is a talented barber who doubles as a therapist and life coach. He is a perfectionist and is always determined to make sure you walk out feeling and looking like a million bucks. The Barbers are amazing and very dedicated in making you look your best at all time. I’ve been there customer for about 5 years now (before they were at a different location). I don’t trust anyone else with my hair besides them.

Moved to Salem a few months ago and after a few tries have finally found the perfect barber shop, “The Tonsorial”. First positive part about the whole experience was finding parking. With a spacious lot out back it was so easy and stress free, which is tough to find here in Salem. When I entered the Tonsorial I was welcomed by Francis and Christian and couldn’t help but notice how clean the place was. Cleanliness is super important to me so that was a relief. I had the opportunity to have Francis cut my hair and he did an amazing job. Francis pays super close attention to detail and is very gentle, careful, and precise. My overall experience was awesome and I walked out feeling and looking much better than I did walking in!

They introduce anybody with open arms, they are nice get the job done and most importantly they make you come out looking like a king. They also keep the shop clean and safe for the situation going on. Can’t say nothing bad about the shop.

Looking for a Barber can be a complicated process. We judge a lot of different things just for a haircut. Walking into the Tonsorial Parlor was a different experience unlike any other. Immediately upon walking in I was greeted by both barbers (even though they were both in the middle of haircuts). Francis, who ended up being my barber, set up an appointment with me because they usually are appointment only - that should say something about the place already. He took my phone number and told me to let him know if something changes and couldnt make my appointment. He also texted me the day before just to check that the appointment was still on. Francis did a FANTASTIC job cutting my hair. The haircut itself took an hour and you could tell he approached the job with care and expertise. They play great music, keep the shop really clean, and are even fantastic to talk to. This barber shop is not just a place you come to get your haircut, but a place to establish a great relationship with the staff and walk out feeling fly 😎

Ive been looking for a good haircut at a reasonable price around Salem for a long time now. This is definitely the place to go. $25 for a haircut and beard line up. Francis was great. Fit me in with no appointment, just a short wait. Cleaned me up great and gave me exactly what I asked for. I usually cut my own hair, but I might start coming here regularly instead.
