So after having an awful experience at the Highland Avenue location, Amy (store manager) reached out. I took her up on her offer to fix my daughter’s hair; she arranged for an appointment with Stephanie over at Vinnin square. I’m so pleased with the attention and results we received from Amy and Stephanie. Stephanie took her time to explain what she was planning to do to fix my daughter’s hair and did a great job. Both Amy and Stephanie did what they could to make things better, you have to really appreciate this kind of service. With their immaculate attention and the service that they provided I will definitely visit this location again.

I just get a trim I think it would be better coming from a woman where they have everything done if youre getting a trim its great

I was driven to walk out.I was literally told quote: we dont do mens fades here. We are hair stylists not barbers. By lady with long black hair at Location at 13 paradise road, Salem, MAI made an online appointment, was seated and then was asked what Id like?...I just wanted a mid fade. I pulled out a picture of the look i wanted and was immediately scoffed at and was given an absolute no. thats a barbers cut, we dont do barbers cuts here, but let me see if someone else might she went to the back whispered with her blond colleague (who was doing foils on a lady) and who then comes to me and says i can try to give you that haircut but itll be a while before Im done with my client, but to tell you the truth its difficult to give those barber cuts because they take special trimmers.Are you kidding me?! Ive been giving MYSELF and friends fades for a year through the pandemic by watching YouTube videos with basic Wahl trimmers. Its hard to do it on my own head and takes me hours, so I thought Id treat myself to having a professional cut it for me. And you want to call yourselves hairstylists when you cannot do a simple fade, and when a large percentage of your business caters to men--WHO ASK FOR FADES!??I was made to feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable in that barbers chair for asking. Its so bewildering.Supercuts website LITERALLY advertises you do a variety of mens fades, quote: From fades and undercuts to long layers and clipper cuts, there are a lot of options for mens haircuts. Find the look thats right for you. If you’re after a specific cut or style, bring a photo with you to show your stylist to use.Your listed services at this location even list: fades, beard trims, taper fades, clipper cuts, haircuts for men...etc!Whoever owns and runs this Supercuts better check your girls. To have hairstylists that are this rude, indifferent, and inept or untrained is going to hurt your business and bottom line.Imagine that, “Hairstylists” that don’t know how to cut men’s hair.

I went to get my hair cut for the first time since covid, and the experience there was wonderful, start to finish. They are very aware of the pandemic, safety measures in place are excellent. Once it was my turn to come in and get my cut, I was introduced to Lauren. She sanitized the entire station before allowing me to sit. She then placed me, and began my cut. She was very professional, very thorough. She went way above and beyond, trimming my beard, eyebrows, ears, the full deal. After the cut, she did my hair wash. She was very mindful of the water temp with gloves on, made sure it was OK, and then washed, conditioned, and dried. Start to finish, top to bottom, wonderful experience. Lauren is now, without question, my go to girl. Thank you again Lauren!

This is my go-to place for haircuts. They are all quite good for what I am looking for, a short style. Currently COVID compliant. Worth a call to see if they have open appointments!

Love this place. Super well run, even during COVID-19. There are only 3 stylists and patrons allowed at a time. They’re are really good at keeping my kids happy (not getting hair in their face and rinsing their hair out after the cut). Highly recommended. I’ve been to Roosters and other barbers around, this place stands up to the best!

I tend to go a while between haircuts but I like it very short when I do get it cut. Haircuts from this place have been awesome, just what I ask for. Even with different stylists. I have had other places give me a Bob when I asked for a pixie because they where afraid of going too short despite me saying multiple times I want to go shorter but this place gets it right every time :)

I made my appointment as soon as I was able for 1pm and they told me at 11:45 their power went out and I had to be canceled. They said too many people. No way I wasnt first to sign up. My family and I will go elsewhere

Decent, reasonably priced hair salon. Busy on weekends and before holidays but reasonably easy to get in as a walkin outside these times.Staff friendly and competent, easy parking and basic male grooming is fairly priced.Can be a bit of a struggle to get the staff leave male hair long in the back, at least if you are a sad, balding, middle aged guy like me, as they seem to be mullet-averse but Ive always happy with the results.

For a shop of that size it is pretty inefficiently organized. For instance... there are 8 stations and they have one towel heater that is kept at the very front of the shop next to the check-in/out desk. By the time a stylist returns to a back station to sooth the guest he/she is working with (as in my case) the towel was luke warm at best! Ugh!

Stephanie gave my 5y/o daughter her first haircut and she was awesome.. my daughter loved her and doesnt want anyone but her touching her hair now.. they made her feel so comfortable and respected me instead of judging me with her hair.. Ill be going here always now

Just got a stellar cut from Jackie! Girl knows curls. Took a years worth of no-cut hair and turned it into short cute and curly! Love it. Plus price is awesome. No need for fancy high end pricing. Ill be back!

Lemme be real frank. Im not a wealthy kid, and Im into short, not easily achieved haircuts. I came in with anxiety, a couple pics, and some hopes/dreams, and Mackenzie was AWESOME. She told me what was up and did a beautiful job trimming my damaged hair and advising me about care. Definitely coming back for her excellent service and fly style

Have gotten a dozen cuts here, and they are always friendly and the price is reasonable. As with any place, some cutters are a little more talented than others, but Ive never gotten anything I wasnt happy with. We also bring our son and they do well with children too. The complaints about wait times are exaggerated IMO and weve never waited more than 15-20 minutes even when weve just walked in.

MacKenzie did an awesome job. I’ve never went short before but the compliments I’ve been receiving is unbelievable, she definitely gave me a very good recommendation plus cut!!!

Great place, I go there with my kids all the time.Interesting story about my visit today. There was a father there whos son was about 5 years old telling the stylist that he was a vegan, and that he had never had any meat or any animal byproduct in his life. As they left, his father reached into the candy bowl and gave him a starburst, which has a gelatin base.

Horrible. I had called in ahead of time and made an appointment but when I got there, I still had to wait 30 minutes before anyone got to me. My layers are extremely uneven and look terrible. I do not recommend this place.
