Worst tow ever. Had to help move the car. Kid looked barely 18 and seemed like he didnt really know what he was doing. When he dropped the car off it was off from the actual driveway. Instead of realigning to the driveway he decided to just let it go. He ended up hitting a bush and scratching the entire side of the car. I asked to speak to a manager. They were acting like oh well its not that big of a deal. Repairing the scratches is going to cost way more than the tow. I will be suing them for damages. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Would not return my calls or answer messages to them when they charged me for a car they towed Id sold to another person months prior. That person didnt register the vehicle, but I kept copies of what was needed to prove transfer of ownership. Still, Affordable Towing avoided me. I left a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

These people stole my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My car was towed by Affordable Towing I was not driving the vehicle at the time of the tow. When I received a bill because in their database I show as the registered owner of the vehicle I immediately contacted the tow company and drove three and a half hours From Washington State to retrieve my vehicle and pay the fees when I arrived at the tow company they informed me that the bill they sent meStating that I am the registered owner and my identification was not enough to prove that I was the registered owner of the vehicle its enough to make me have to pay the fines that I will be incurred after the auction of my car but I couldnt pick up my vehicle based off that information. How is it legal to bill someone as the registered owner based off information from the dol database but that same info cannot be used as proof that I am the registered owner.

I am extremely pleased with the service that I received from Affordable Towing. Ira arrived earlier than expected. He was friendly, and courteous, and he got straight to work. He had my car loaded and us on the road to my place, in a matter of very few minutes.It was a comfortable ride in a nicely kept and maintained piece of equipment. The conversation was pleasant and the vibes good. Upon our arrival at my place, Where two Harvesters and couple other farming implements are parked in my driveway.It is here, Ira demonstrates his skills as a driver. He maneuvered his truck amongst these vehicles as if they werent even there. He backed up and placed my car on the ground in the exact spot that I park it everytime.Yes, I am better than pleased andI would recommend Affordable Towing to anyone. These people profited and were complacent in the theft of my car which was parked in front of my home. They will no doubt say otherwise, and perhaps were legally able to tow my car because the police called them, while I was gone, but this was wrong. Use anyone else but this second rate opportunists. If they have no moral judgment in this aspect, they will have none for you and they will take advantage and harm you.

So heres what happened. My vehicles fuel pump relay went out on the highway. I knew what was wrong with it so I left it a cars length off the highway with the hazards on as I went to get a new part. Within a couple hours it had been towed as a (abandoned hazard). Not only had I had to go through the legal system and $400 to get my car back but they also broke my steering arms. The other guy from BC towing (who I now can recommend) that I had tow my car from the affordable towings lot to my house told me they are not supposed to flat bed tow cars with flat bed trucks that a have locked up wheels from the parking gear and brake. This is obvious because of how flat bed towing works. This company will brake your car and not blink an eye. They will be paying me back or hearing from my attorney.Do not use affordable towing.

Very bad experience. I got into a car accident and the tow truck came to pull it out. However, when the tow truck pulled over, he ran over my purse, which was pretty far from the road. My phone was inside of the purse and it was completely destroyed. I called the office 2 days later, and the lady told me the owner was not in. That’s fine, I called again the next day and got the same response. Took me 4 days to get in contact with the owner and when I told him what happened, he refused to take responsibility for his driver. He said it was my fault my phone got ran over since it was near the road. Shouldn’t the driver have been paying more attention though? My purse was a neon color so it’s not like it blended in. And on top of that, we tried to wave the driver away from it and he just ignored us and kept on driving. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I do not recommend using their services at all!

Stranded unexpectedly at 7pm on a Sunday night. I called Affordable Towing and someone was there to tow my truck within half an hour. He was quick, efficient, friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced as well.

These are the nicest people in the world! When we got front ended by a know nothing 16 year old, the tow truck driver was extremely helpful. He made calls for us that helped us to settle down for the night in the strange town of Salem that we were passing through. I couldnt possibly give a higher rating!

Nothing but a bunch of low-life losers. They will steal your cars belongings and not write down your phone being in the car. They also seem like a bunch of crackheads. Forget these people or get your car to hopefully some other company.

The woman who answered the phone was helpful and polite. Driver arrived on time, and was courteous and helpful also. $60 for a tow across town, not cheap but not more than the going rate I would say. Also, they used a flatbed tow truck, which I appreciated and wasnt expecting. All around a good experience and I would certainly recommend them based on it.

I want to preface this with the fact I was not towed, nor did use any of their services. I was stranded in Woodburn Oregon on the 99 at about 4:15PM, Thursday 4/18/19, as my car ran out of gas just one turn from the gas station. A fine gentleman driving the blue towing flatbed had noticed, conversed with me a bit as I waited for the intersection light to change, and after the light changed he went through, turned around and came to help me push. I wanted to offer him a thank you however Im not built for pushing a car, and was entirely out of breath and couldnt walk quite right afterwards.I wanted to put out a huge thank you to the fine gentleman for helping, and going far beyond his job to help someone in need. Hopefully in the future Ill not need towed, but if I do I know Ill be thinking of this business first.

Terrible service. Called to make my apt. For my car to be picked up 2 days before the actual tow. The day came and no driver. Called they said we dont have you in our computer. Cool beans.. oh and because of the snow we have now they wanted 125 for the tow instead of the 75 they told me 2 days ago. Shouldnt tow truck drivers be prepared for all weather and not charge extra to put on chains?!? So now I have to wait until next week to get my car fixed.. thanks so much. Will never use this company or recommend it to anyone.

The girl at the front desk was nice, and just doing her job, same with the tow truck guy who helped me push it out of the lot. Thanks for your help guys. Jack, the owner, showed up on my service call. He was professional, insightful, and matched me with the appropriate service and truck for my needs when the services I requested wasnt a perfect match. The response time was exceptional, and while he wasnt the one who finished the service. Stan, with the equipment more appropriate for the services I required, was hard working, and went above and beyond to place my utility trailer and parts car exactly where I wanted them. The rates were far more affordable, and the customer service far better, than what I had experienced with the tow company used the day before.

With little to no space to work with this tow guy sent out to me embraced it, he was genuinely having a great time and knew what he was doing. He let me know everything he was doing and didnt want to worry me in anyway. This guy loves his job and that says a lot about the company. Price was $125 the car was a 1996 ford mustang and he managed to get the car on the wreaker without damaging the control arm that had been sitting on the ground the process was touch and go but this guy had it covered. It went way better then anticipated!This company is now the #1 call when I need a tow!

The worst experience dealing with a tow company. My son was in a car accident. As if that wasnt bad enough we get to deal with these people. Not only did they charge us far too much to tow his car less than 10 miles but then when I come to take care of the payment and car they treat me like a common criminal. I needed a moment. My son was in a car accident and his car looked awful. I started to cry from the sight of it. But I two guards watching me the entire time that I was taking our personal items from the car. And not only that but because my name was the only one on the title they wouldnt let my husband handle anything. It was ridiculous and in the future I will make sure that I call my own towing company. With all this said, keep in mind that I am from a family that had their own towing company for years.

My car broke down called affordable towing. A nice young man came out to tow my car to where it was to be fixed. He opened the door for me and made sure I could get in his truck and then once I was in his truck he closed the door for me, and made sure I could get my dear belt in before he left the scene. GEICO picked them for two separate claims for me today. Expected one hour wait time both times, the first time took 2.5 hours. They didnt once call and say they were on their way, running late, sorry for the delay, etc. I am on the second claim, an hour and a half in, same story. I just called and they told me it would be at least another half an hour.I understand delays and I know towing companies have to put police calls first, but no reputable business puts a client through such a long wait without apologizing, giving a realistic time frame, and trying to make it right. I wish I could give them 0 stars.* The drivers are great. Bubba is very personable and was the only good part about the experience.

Amazing price - 1/2 the time I thought it would take. Ira was an awesome driver and lifted my spirits and helped me push my car back into a safe spot.

Less than a month of my car being in their lot and it was $1500 to get it out. They wouldnt allow me to get my belongings out either, the woman said they belong to the car now. Not affordable by any means! Im recently homeless and my car was all I had left to my name until they took it from me :( not to mention I was told I had 24 hours to move it and they towed it after only 6 hours! Completed the downfall of the disaster I call my life.

The old guy is racist and they dont care about the ecosystem they dump oil and gas into the dirt and the job is bad done and they block the roads all the time and cause lots of hazards. You can trust me because i live on the same street and my bus stop is right there and i walk from the bus to my house so i can see what happens every day.

3/9/19. Just wached one of your trucks come off of the Front st. bipass, and then south on Commercial. It was going at least 15 mph over the posted speed. I saw it change lanes, tailgate and drive like its a sports car. It did not use its signal once. There are people in those cars that it was endangering. Children, Grandparents, ect. Will never use your business, or call for anyone else.

Used them last night to tow my truck out of a field I get stuck in. They called to confirm the driver was on the way and the driver was very nice and promptly got it out. We were quoted (or as we understood it) on the phone it was $150 hr but we were charged $75 which we were happy to pay. I know tow companies get a bad wrap and probably some are unethical and are gouging their customers because its a service that is only when you are dire need. I can just tell you are experience was very good.

While their rates are lower, they put a large hole in my tire and then lied to me that they werent to blame. The owner looked me in the eyes and said they didnt do it, the tire was like that when they picked it up. It is NOT why my car was disabled. Own up to your mistakes!

They should really be called Not So Affordable Towing! Do yourself a favor and find somebody else to tow your car! My son was in an accident and they charged $389 to tow the car about 8 miles to their lot. Its just absurd! They were completely rude to me on the phone. These people are disgusting!

Car would not start so called this company. The driver showed up but car steering was locked said we needed a different tow truck because he did not want to hurt anything when pulling the car on. Told my son that a different truck was coming and he left. Well no truck ever showed up and when I called they said they had no record of it. No reason to let my son think another truck was coming for my car when there wasnt. Unacceptable.

One of their drivers was driving over 70mph on HWY 22 West, in a 50-55mph zone, at 7:45 AM Monday morning. Tailgating any car he got behind and swerving in and out of cars. Not a company I will be using for service if their drivers arent safe to be on the road.

My wife and kids went outside of Scotts Mills Oregon on crooked finger to go shooting on February 24th, 2016. At 5:30 pm. are 17 year old son accidentally locked the keys in the trunk. My wife called are insurance provider stating the situation and they sent a tow truck in route. Upon Affordable arriving a 1 1/2 miles down the road form the vehicle they told my pregnant wife and 3 year old granddaughter that they will not go any further and they refused to drive on gravel.Leaving my pregnant wife, pregnant daughter in law, 3 year old grand daughter and 17 year old son in the woods until BC towing came to the rescue at 11:30 pm. Thank You BC Towing and Geico Insurance for having are backs in that time of need. Affordable you should be ashamed of your selves what kind of a man leaves a women deserted in the woods i hope you dont treat your wives this way.

This company achieved what SEVERAL other tow companies could not do. My son went out on a break at work, locked his car. After work on a friday night downtown salem he went out to find that he didnt have his keys. They had fallen out of his pocket in the parking garage on break.Someone now possibly had his keys and could come back to take his car.SEVERAL tow companies stated they did not have a truck that could enter the parking structure due to 7 foot clearance.AFFORDABLE towing driver JOHNNY WALKER came in a very short period of time to unlock the vehicle for us. We were extremely concerned with it being a weekend leaving the vehicle there. Johnny made a call to the owner of the company JACK who personally came to get the car out of the parking garage onto the street where Johnny could then put it on the flatbed. Both of these gentlemen were genuinely caring about the situation, went above and beyond to help, had amazing professionalism and literally did what other companies said was impossible.I would strongly suggest calling this company not only for the excellent customer service but also the FLAT RATE anywhere in salem fee. Rare find. I dont usually make google reviews... But this situation strongly called for it. 10 stars if possible.

Had my car towed last week in Salem. No problem with the Tow operator/driver. He was professional/courteous/on time and friendly.My problem was the office. When I got home and tried to scan my receipt, it was not readable. The 30 year old carbonless technology pink slip could not be enhanced enough to turn into insurance for reimbursement.So I called the next day to get a dup receipt. The office lady said I could pick one up at the office in Salem. Since I live 40 miles away, I told her that wasnt going to happen - just mail it to me or email if you want to save the stamp. I was told she would need to check with the boss first.Three days later- no receipt and called again. Same response. Finally after a week I had to come to Salem for other business and called again. Office lady said receipt would be ready for me the next day.When I got there I went in and had to show id (??) I asked -why show id now when you didnt care about it earlier, even when I paid by credit card. The girl said she was just doing her job and that I would need to talk to the boss. I told her that would be hard since I have trying to talk to him/her for over a week now and still no receipt. She then had to find and print the receipt - of course it was not ready for me. So now a week later I can finally submit it for reimbursement.,So if you need a tow - fine - but if you need normal service afterwards to get reimbursed or any other office related help, you need to take your business elsewhere where people actually care about their customers after the check clears.

Usually I dont leave reviews, but the dispatcher I talked to was very rude. Ive been waiting for them for 3 hours and decided to give them a call back. They claimed that the person drove out to Wilsonville and didnt see me. They dont pick anyone up passed Wilsonville, which I completely understand. I didnt know where that was and it turns out according to my maps I was stopped before wilsonville. I called back to see if they could send another person about 2 minutes after I hung up and the dispatcher said Ive talked to about 10 people in the past 2 minutes, so youre going to have to be more clear in the rudest voice. I told her the situation and she said were still not going to be able to send someone out, call another towing company. She was very rude.

These thieves stole my Garmin GPS unit, my radar detector, and the remainder of my prescription meds. These were all in my car at time of crash, when it was towed, but not in car when returned to me the next day. Have reported this to police. These people are going to pay for screwing with me!
