Kenny did an amazing mani/pedi on me. This was one of the nicest nail salon environments I’ve ever been in. It was clean and nicely decorated - the energy was wonderful. Ken was so skilled. He did everything the way I like. He was very professional and a joy to be around. Great communication about what I wanted and what he was going to do. I am 39 weeks pregnant and this was my treat before labor. When he saw I was having a contraction, he offered me water. I will definitely be back! Thank you.

I go here for a powder dip on my nails every few weeks and I love it! My nails have never been happier and they look so good too. They have so many colors to choose from, that I always show up 5 min earlier to go through them and decide on what I want. The place is very clean but you do have to go upstairs for the powder nails (possibly problematic for some people) while the pedicure and normal manicures are downstairs. Im always completely relaxed and the employees are very nice and always happy to make small talk while they work.

Horrible experience! I have done my nails over a hundred times. I know how it looks when someone cut cuticles well and when not! After they cut my cuticles this is what they looked like! WTH!!! I asked for the guy to clean them up better and of course as always give me the whole lecture of... well if we cut more the grow more. That makes no sense. I have been cutting them for years, it no longer matters just clean them up properly. He proceeds to cut my index finger cuticle and cuts my finger. Then blames it on me that I have week skin and I asked for it. No, I did not asks to be cut, I asked for a proper cuticle cut! Never coming back.

Got the spa pedicure. It was amazing. My feet feel amazing. Will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this place. My favorite part was probably the fact that the technicians were not talking between each other in there native tongue.

PROS:-Nice atmosphere-Friendly staff-Manicures, spa pedicures, & waxes-Quality nail process that:*is easier*lasts longer*is WAY strongerCONS:-Slightly more costly than an average manicure-ONLY does the dipping powder process, gel manicures, & spa pedicures- no acrylic (only a con if you acrylic nails)-Everyones fingers are dipped into the same jars of powder (I wasnt asked to wash my hands before they dipped my fingers). But, Im finicky that way.Review:A really nice place! You can tell someone put a lot of time & thought into making it a tranquil experience. Theres thoughtful touches, like pillows on each pedicure chair, art deco, & mellow music in the background.The only reason I waited is bcuz I walked in at 4pm & made an appt for 5:30 (they were busy), & I didnt make it back until 6:15. But, they agreed to take me, even though they closed at 7pm. The entire staff was very friendly & professional. Tony even offered me a bottled drink while I waited.As mentioned, they only do dipping powder. It was my first experience & I love the process & the results. Its a much easier process, less messy. A simple coat of a clear liquid, then dip your finger into a small container of fine powder, & pull out a perfectly covered nail. The powder sort of melts into a hard surface, & they repeat the process 3x. They use the same drill techniques as acrylic nails to smooth it out. The entire process took approx an hour.Usually, I chip the gel polish &/or break at least one nail within the 1st week. I tried this process, bcuz Im hard on my nails, working with my hands a lot. Plus, I typically dont find time to go in more than once every 3-3 1/2 weeks. By then, my nails have grown out long enough that when I press the tips, the other end lifts off my nail bed. Worse, my long hair constantly gets caught under those ends & gets ripped out, & I usually have at least one nail super glued together in an attempt to prevent half my nail from ripping off, unexpectedly. Even if I go in every 2 weeks, its never enough.THREE WEEKS LATER: But for having grown out some, my nails still look PERFECT! No cracks, breaks, or chips. A few times I did something that would normally have bent my nail backwards, broken it, or torn it off. But thankfully, no damage was done. The edges that have grown away from my finger arent jagged, chipped, or thinner than the rest of the nail, & its definitely not lifting away from the nail bed.Its difficult to describe the difference in quality this process is. The edges are perfect & smooth, bcuz they dont rely on a person painting even layers. The gel molds onto your nail like a ridiculously hard shield (I cant purposely bend a nail, they dont give at all!), and its a solid, uniform color that makes an impressive difference (in my OCD-based opinion). I forgot to take a pic right after they were done, but the pic I did post is 3 weeks after. Not a nick or scratch!!2nd UPDATE: Well, I went back to get my nails done, after a month. My nails were getting too long, but the color stayed exactly the way it was on day one! I will NEVER go back to polish again! I was told they only did dipping powder, on my first visit. When I called for an appt, the woman asked me if I wanted gel nails. I absent mindedly said yes, thinking they only did one process, thats what shes talking about. I got there & she was definitely talking about a gel manicure. She chastised me a little about being clear, as different girls on shift do different things. I can see how someone might take her as rude, but shes just no-nonsense & trying to run a business. They still accommodated me, & offered me the water, again. I enjoy the experience. Ill go back.

Awesome nail shop! They have over 600 colors and, those are just the powder dip colors. The technicians here do a great job! In addition they can take whole bridal parties where they will pick you up in a limo and bring all the ladies to the salon for there nail services. You can bring music and drinks for this special occasion as well. The rooms for these parties are beautifully decorated with fountains and open space. They are intricately tiled reminding me of a European bathhouse.I have been here three times and, Ive been happy each time I left. I would definitely recommend making an appointment though as they are always booked.

I just brought my bridal party in and they had us in the Party Room. They have a stereo system to be able to listen to whatever music you want. They also allow food and drinks. We all got manicures, including my flower girl. BEAUTIFUL WORK!!! Great customer service, will definitely be coming back!!!

Very friendly and fair prices. Good quality on my pedicure. I did not have an appointment and they still made time for me, however I would suggest making an appointment on the weekends if you are going with a group.

I have been to Bliss for pedicures and today, my first dip manicure. I love it! They are clean, friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing . I highly recommend Bliss. Especially if you are planning an event. They have a party room and limousine for girls night out or a bridal party

I have been coming to Bliss Nail and Spa for over 2 years. The owners are Tony and Lynn. The staff are very friendly and skilled in pedicures.The best thing about this great place is the NextGen DIPPING POWDER NAILS. This unique process is the most wonderful thing you can use for superb nails. It’s like nothing else in Sacramento.The nails do not chip. Do not break. Do not lose their sheen.When you call to make the appointment you MUST say “Dipping Powder” since there are certain technicians that are skilled in the process. The salon does get busy since there are 4 rooms of nail stations -for parties,etc. If you walk in and see people not working and wonder why they can’t do your nails it’s likely because they have a party starting soon.I have not strayed since my first dip and I’m now a dipper til I die!

Tony is just rude he told me to get the hell out of his shop just because I didnt have an appointment. Is it my fault that your so overbooked and stressed out? I love Bliss Nails. Before coming here, I would get acrylics which damaged my nails. My first visit I was with Tony and he introduced me to the dipping powders! What a change... my nails are now long and healthy. The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming. 5 stars for cleanliness, friendliness, assortment of colors, and technique.

Tried the dip powder for the first time and loved it. My nails didnt chip at all the entire time I had them. The corners just started to lift a little after a couple of weeks. But honestly the longest lasting nail procedure Ive ever had. Definetly worth your money

This was my first time visiting and it was a great experience. My nail technician Quinn was very knowledgeable and friendly. Even tho I was there for a simple mani and pedi she answered all my questions about their other services like dipping! She made me feel very comfortable and wanting to go back for more.

After three attempts at what I asked for, I finally settled for what the girl was actually capable of doing. After all of the high praise online and from personal friends, I was excited to visit Bliss and experience dipping powder for the first time. While I love the technique and will never have my nails done any other way again, I was severely disappointed in the execution of the nails. I dont know if it was a language barrier thing or if the young lady just didnt want to do it, but suffice it to say the job was lacking. Ive been told to get one if the manager/owners to do them next time. Its said that they are much better. Who knows?

That gives the customers the impression they are talking about us. Very unprofessional!! Most women feel the same as me about that!

I went there on a Saturday to do my nails for Sunday because I had a wedding to go to. I did gel nails and they were fine then on Monday they chipped a little and it was fine it was a small chip then come Tuesday I get another chip and its literally half of my gel nail polish so I came here on Thursday to fix it because gel nails usually last me at least 2 weeks sometimes a week and a half but never only 2 days. So I come in the owner checks me in I told her I was there Saturday did my nails she said gel is 30$ dipping is $35 so I told her Ill do the dipping so Ill just technically pay $5 extra for the dip. So Im doing my nails with the dip with the girl that saw me there on Saturday and I wanted to verify with her how much it would be so she said shed ask the owner if I can just pay 5$ because its not my fault they lasted 2 days. So she asked the owner and the owner (she is super sweet as a person) said that its been more than half a week and they dont guarantee anything well thats fine if someone would have told me that on Saturday. So she said if shed do my nails it would have been for free okay and how was I supposed to know you are the owner its my 2nd time being there so she said that Id need to pay half of the price because its totally different nail and they need supplies and she has to pay the lady that did my nails because the other girl was off. Okay so because I couldnt have come in on Tuesday and Wednesday because of my work schedule I have to pay half the price for dipping nails okay but just wondering how is your gel nail polish lasting me 2 days is my problem? I dont think its my problem and its not like I go and lift bricks with my nails to get them chipped. And then I go to pay she says its $18 but have of 35$ is $17.50 and I got ripped off by 50 cents unless there is a credit card charge of $.50 which was not addressed anyway. Like I dont care about the. $.50 but since Im already leaving a review why not add it in here like you have to let your customers know about things like that. And I got cut 2x just makes everything even worse. So upset with this place. I wish I could have taken a picture of how my gel nails were after 2nd and 3rd day but I thought since any other place at least gives a week for gel nails it would be no problem getting mine fixed apparently it was.

They do not do tips, they use your real nails! I was skeptical at first but i tried it and now my nails are fully grown out and lookin beautiful! I love their work and the atmosphere is relaxing and very calming! I usually hopped around to different nail shops looking for 1 i would fit with because im so picky but this has been my nail home since i walked in the first time! They are also very kind and gental with their customers and even by my 2nd time they remembered who i was (my nail tech was teaching me vietnamese to try to communicate with my fiances father lol) i love this place HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! You do have to book an appointment because they are naturally always booked, also they are the cleanest place i have ever been to!! I freak out if i was accidentally cut at other salons because i know they use the same dirty tools over an over, bliss has an amazing reputation for a reason, they actually care for their customers!!!

I recommend you not use this nail shop. When I started going to bliss 6 months ago my service and quality of work was amazing. Now it seems they are so busy and over book themselves that their quality of nails are getting worse. In the last 2 months I have had my nails break and lift and I also had a pedicure where the lady made me bleed because she stabbed my cuticle while she was not paying attention and talking to a co worker . Also last time I was there the owner tony accused me of being late for my appointment and said Im causing him to get bad yelp reveiws because he has to have people wait. I was spending at least $100 every 2 weeks for a pedicure and my nails and I had to switch because of there customer service and quaility of work. Now me and my 3 best girl friends no longer go there because they were having similar problems .
