I actually had a terrible experience with this organization. I came in through my grandfather, who was an instructor. I was almost immediately targeted by a fifth degree black belt named Christy. Turns out that her and my grandfather didnt get along. She displaced her anger and hatred on me.Her teaching style was a bit tyrannical and unkind. She was very arrogant and close minded. I brought this up to Grand Master Robinson himself and he did nothing about it. In fact there were quite a few troubling things occurring in the organization and he seemed to have no passion or energy to solve these issues.I was very grateful to be learning from such a well decorated and talented Grand Master, and at first he was such a pleasure to learn from. But his attitude shifted on me and he became hostile and dismissive to me.I eventually just stopped coming to Master Christys classes as this was the only solution to my problem.I began going to sparring classes, learning under a very talented young black belt. I forget his name unfortunately, Middle Eastern decent, his father and him were well known in competitive TKD. I only specify race in hopes that others may find him. There was minimal combat and more technique and endurance in his classes. I was getting so much out of those classes and found a nice consistent teacher to whom I very much respected and enjoyed.Master Robinson was continually critiquing me and urging me not to go to the class because I wasnt ready for sparring. And yet there was minimal sparring and I was attending other classes of technique with GM Robinson. He finally convinced me, via my grandfather, to attend a sparring class on the weekend, with a red belt under no supervision of black belts. In the second class, I was put to spar against a Poom Belt (Right before black) who hadnt been there in a long time, out of practice and not in control of himself. I was yellow green belt. What was suppose to be light sparring turned into a spinning heel kick to my head. Although I didnt get checked out, I do believe I received a concussion. My memory was spotty and I had a hard time putting together thoughts and sentences. I eventually recovered thank God.Lastly, it was easy to tell that they were primarily in it for the money. They consistently graduated people who WERE NOT READY under a Kukkiwon Certification. To me, this was a heavy disrespect of the art. Special honors like the black belt club went from being merit based for people who were exceptional to costing more money and letting anyone be a part of it.It is tragic to see what has happened with this organization based on the stories of what it use to be. I am very let down by Grand Master Robinson and many of the teachers that represent a once fine organization of Martial Arts.If you value your psychological and physical health, I wouldnt recommend going here.

We signed the kids up for lessons here with the hopes that they could learn about respect, focus and self defense. The teachers are amazing, and work diligently to ensure the kids are working towards s goal at all times. The black belt club is fairly priced and ensures that they always have something more to push for. The staff is always polite and does whatever they can to reinforce the way we want to raise our children. Overall I couldnt be happier with them and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Worse place I could have picked... 80 dollars a month for my 3 year old girl to go for a half hour twice a month, ridiculous.... now they wont allow me to cancel her membership havent been there in two months and they keep taking out monthly fees. Plus the place is so ghetto no way those people are paying 80 bucks a month!
