Lombard was incredibly compassionate, helpful, and supportive during the most difficult time of my life. Every moment, from transport to the mortuary, to planning and executing the service was as easy as possible under the circumstances. I truly appreciate their professionalism, kindness, and guidance during that time.

I was hoping I wouldnt need their services but since I did, Im glad I went with Lombard. I believe the woman that helped us was named Savanah. She made the whole process as easy as it could be. I felt comfortable with leaving my grandmother in their care for cremation. The urn was lovely and the engraving was perfect.

I was not pleased with the service we got from Lombard. The actual funeral was as nice as a funeral can be. However we were talked into services that were costly (motorcade) and we were not made aware there would be overtime charges. It was also sometimes hard to reach the woman we worked with

The people at Lombard were very professional and helpful at a time when I needed it most. They had done my fathers funeral. I knew my mom had a plot with my dad but had no idea what to do. I called Lombard they told me not to worry. They took some basic information and said they would contact me in a couple days. They went over everything with my brother and I on a conference call to be as safe as possible. The lady worked with us and we got a no frills package at reasonable cost.I was a little worried about the graveside ceremony. We chose not to have a minister. The lady from Lombard was great. She said some nice words then let us talk.More people showed up than I expected which was good and it all went very nice. We didnt feel rushed or anything.i can thank them enough for making it a lot easier to put this behind me as gracious as possible. Sincerely, Sam Davina

They were comforting and made the process easier than I expected it would be. The service that we had was beautiful. Professional and extremely reasonable as far as cost.

Lombard Funeral Home was such a blessing in the hardest time of my life. Katrina and Lana both were so amazing and so very kind during the whole planning process. I am extremely grateful to both of them and I would not hesitate to use their services in the future.

I had to make arrangements for my brother in Sacramento all the way from Memphis, TN. I googled and their web page was perfectly designed and had the option to send a message to receive a call within 15 minutes and I did. My experience with them just went up hill from there. Kate is unbelievable! EVERYTHING about them is 5 star plus rating from customer care to pricing and affordability to working with your budget to dealing with the small details to patience to accessibility to follow up. Simply mind blowing!

The funeral director was very kind, but quite inexperienced when it came to coordinating the details of my mothers funeral;Her services were to include chapel arrangements, reserving seating for family members, flower placement per our wishes and an adequately large shade tent to protect the mourners at graveside on this very hot day.Sadly, none of these promises were kept leaving us feeling worse than ever that we could not even say farewell to our mother in what should have been a nicely arranged, comforting ceremony.My mothers casket was even wheeled in late!Until this new director gets better at working with and following up on all the details she commits to, I would use another funeral home.

Lombard was thoroughly professional as well as kind and compassionate to all of my family. The supporting services, including flowers, catering, and video were all top-notch. They were flexible and worked with us whenever issues came up. I unreservedly recommend them.

General manager Rebekah Mann at the Lombard funeral home in Sacramento was wonderful. She made good suggestions for our son’s memorial and handled all our questions and paperwork in a kind and caring manner.

The people were very helpful and friendly. It made the process easy for us.

I have used Lombard & Companys services for both my father (2012) and mother (2016). Both times, they showed excellent care and concern for me and for my parents. I had different people helping me in the two different situations, but both were very nice and easy to work with. For my mom, I was able to do almost everything by phone and e-mail (using my smart phone as a scanner when needed) from her bedside in the hospital. This allowed me to stay close, but also get all of the stress and hassles of final arrangements over and done with in advance. Also, I was able to ask my mom some questions, making sure that I satisfied her wishes. My parents opted for direct cremation, which is the simplest and least expensive option, with no memorial service. As such, I cant speak to Lombards other services, their selection of caskets and whatnot, nor how their memorials are handled. However, I would expect them to be on-par with the rest of the service I received. Thank you Lombard & Co. for taking such good care of my parents.

Lombard Funeral Home did a fantastic job of taking care of my Fathers funeral from beginning to end. Lombard, especially Yvonne Whalen, was exceptional in attending to our needs. This started with the planning of each element, from church mass at St. Ignatius, Military Funeral Honors at the grave site, and reception afterwards at the funeral home. Yvonne finalized the obituary and handled all the details, without any problems. Yvonne and McKenzie were present throughout the day of the funeral, so everything moved forward smoothly. Even the reception food was very good. This made a sad time more bearable knowing my Father was in good hands. I wish there were 6 Stars to give Lombard Funeral home, as they definitely deserved it.
