I have nothing but praise for Affordable Cremations. Their cremation services were by far the least expensive of any other company we called. But they werent just less expensive, their customer service was also so wonderful. I was lucky to have Mya look after my beloved husband when he passed away last month. She contacted me regularly with updates, including a very difficult call when she informed me that she had just picked up my husbands body from the Coroners Office, or, as she so sweetly put it, she had just taken my husband into her care. She was patient, compassionate, and thoughtful. I highly recommend Affordable Cremations and I am grateful to them for taking such good care of my husband. Mya just called to let me know that my husband is ready to come home so Im on my way now. I dont want to wait another minute because Ive missed him so much and it will be so good to have him home with me again where he belongs. Thank you to Mya, and all the Affordable Cremations staff.

My father passed in February of 2019. We knew he wanted to be cremated and he wanted a simple ceremony to celebrate his life. He did not want his passing to be a financial burden on the family. Affordable Cremations allowed us to grant him all of these dying wishes. The staff was helpful, professional and understanding.We had initial our initial meeting with Kelly. She suggested that the location on Beloit would be perfect and affordable for my dads service. We drove over to look at it and discovered a beautiful brand new space with an excellent sound system and flow. We planned the service and food ourselves. The day of the service, Maya was there to greet us and help us with last minute details and questions.We called Affordable Cremations blindly, we did not know anything about them. Im grateful that we lucked out and that they made it such an easy process.

The staff at Affordable are wonderful! I live out of state and being able to make arrangements for my mom from over 2,000 miles away alleviated a great deal of stress from a difficult time. Mya was and is AMAZING! I recently lost my husband on June 26, 2020, I walked in the funeral with no appointment because everything is new to me. Mya has helped me with way more than shell ever realize, she was very helpful and so informative with every aspect of the options there were. She is very kind and caring from day one that I had met her. With the lost of my husbands recent passing it is still difficult for me to process everything that has happened, but I just had to do the minimal of providing my feedback with how Mya has helped me throughout. I thank her so much for everything that she has done to help me throughout the this process and she is a wonderful person inside and out even with getting to know her in such a short period of time. My name is Wanda and my Aunt Lucy passed away in March. Ever since she left us we have been taking care of the paper work needed to get everything done. My aunt did not leave a trust or will. Rebecca from Affordable Cremation, assisted us with writing letters, making corrections and being there for us. She never said no, after asking her several times to adjust a letter which I had made many mistakes on. She gave it her extra mile!! I really appreciated her kindness and dedication. Her company is so lucky to have as an employee. God Bless Her!

Cant even give a 1 star really. This place is a joke. Youd have better luck going through Jiffy Lube. Phones are ringing off the hook during what they call a service. Family went in for the viewing and had the wrong body with grandmas dress. Once they fixed that after members of the family saw that, the wheeled grandma in on the gurney tray they roll you in and out of the cold box on. Nothing to cover her with other than the sheet they cover you with in the morgue. I felt like I was waiting to get my car an oil change there . Then when they were done they just open the door and pushed her on through where other bodies were. My kids were totally disturbed by that visual. Grandmas hair was not brushed, no make up on and legs still bent . Heartbreaking to hear, and see just a low value of human life. Disgusting and I would never allow my worst enemy to be treated the way Grandma was! Embarrassment, disrespect and a complete joke! This place and those who planned this should be ashamed of themselves!

My brother and I were faced with the unexpected death of our dad, Im 24 and my brother is 23, we both have kids families so this was a lot to handle, a lot to process. When we went in for our appointment we explained the prior circumstances and made sure that she knew it was important my brother and I got to see my dad to say our final see you laters, because we had not spoken to him before his death. She did everything we wanted and then some, I seriously was breaking mentally trying to cope with the fact that I may not have been able to get to see my dad one more time and that was killing me.And then we found you guys! I cannot express the amount of gratitude my family and I have for you and what you do. You made the impossible possible for my brother and I. And for that I will be forever grateful.The entire process with affordable cremation and burial Center Inc was nothing short of amazing thank you so much. You made a really difficult time a little less difficult. Thank you again!

Rebecca was amazing!! she stay in contact with me even after the service. She was very professional and went above and beyond during my time of need. Being out of state when my mom passed and only speaking over the phone and email for the most part with Rebecca helped a lot once we met face to face. I couldnt have asked for a better director. Very unprofessional service, certainly not worth the extra stress to save a few bucks! Took longer than the advertised/contracted time period and failed to provide me the death certificates I ordered.

Spoke to owner today Craig as he offered more of the same... (excuses) not a solution. Take responsibility for your actions! I did not feel he honestly was concerned.
