This company just recently repaired my laptop. They were very communicative, they ordered the parts needed and repaired my laptop fairly quickly and all at a reasonable price. The customer service was great and every rep that I spoke with was very informative and helpful.

Great experience at Allocate! I was in town for a short visit and needed my laptop repaired fast (broken hinge). The technician at Allocate assessed my problem quickly, ordered a part with the shortest shipping time, and was able to complete the repair with a very short turn around. I went in to this shop to have a pc power supply looked at for repairs, because I know nothing of these things, and spoke to the owner . He checked out the unit, and found there was nothing wrong with it,. and that it was user error. So instead of charging me, like I know what most shops would do. He said no charge which will always make me go back to his business, because of service like this. He spent quiet a bit of time giving me knowledge on my product as well as informing me of other options to what I was doing. He will always get my business because of this kind of great customer service. To me it is like finding a great mechanic, and knowing you never want anyone other then them to address my issues with my car . 1. Because it is family owned. 2. Great customer service 3. This is the most important of them all is the HONESTY!!!! That i received from his buisness. If anyone reads these things please use his service, because I know you will get the same Honest!!!, and quality of service as I did.

Mik and the Allocate team did an amazing job helping me. I had gotten new computer components and was unable to boot into BIOS. By the next day, they had properly installed and configured everything for a low price.

At three oclock today my computer crashed. I called up Mick at Allocate and he instantly knew what was wrong over the phone. He told me that my hard drive failed, knew how it failed, and knew how to fix it. He got all this from me just telling him that I heard a crackling noise coming from my computer. He not only gave me a very reasonable price, but had my computer up and running in less than two hours on that same day!!! He not only fixed it but managed to retrieve and save all of my computer files...my lesson plans that I spent years on...he saved. In the past, Ive tempted to upgrade my computer but I will tell you now that other places take weeks just to look at it, and they charge bogus assessment fees that are inflated. Mick was extremely reasonable, straight forward, knowledgeable, and he delivered what was promised in UNDER the time he promised it. Im eternally grateful, and if I ever had any computer needs again, Im going there. I rarely write reviews, but his service was that good, so I wanted to share.

They worked very quickly on my pc and went above and beyond what a normal repair place would do (imo). Updated drivers, bios, minor overclocking, etc. Also was very reasonable on pricing.

Went to too many computer repair places in the region, all without satisfactory results. So glad we found Alex and his associates there at Allocate. Anyone who is dependent on computer technology must have qualified and competent tech people available at all times and these are the guys. Prices are very good for the quality of work received and anything we have ever brought them they have fixed without issue. And we always have weird stuff happen...

Got the battery and upper panel/keyboard of my MacBook Pro 2017 replaced. They knocked it out quickly once the part arrived, and stayed in communication at each step of the way.Alex and Mick were helpful and attentive. Recommended if you dont want to send away your Mac to Apple and deal with ~5 days of downtime.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING, I had an issue with a lap top that was more than likely outdated and my fault for buying it from a pawn shop.Nevertheless I am def on a budget as a single mom and I will say I had taken the laptop to, Tech 2 U and Geek Squad and the results led me straight to this lil shop midtown after I Called in and spoke with a gentleman named Mik he was so kind and told me to bring my computer down and then I spoke with another technician name Alex between the two of them they had my computer completely fixed up and running within one day the price was so reasonable they were able to work with me very professional the most efficient people Ive seen in the business to date by far and I will continue to take all my needs back to the shop for anything computer related I recommend the shop you will not be disappointed it is a godsend so SATISFIED!!!!!

Im very happy they where able to get my recordings off my old RCA. I called everywhere no one could do it. Mick who was very helpful at Allocate Tech was able to burn them to a CD for me and get everything done the same day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs technical help.

I cannot say enough about Alex and the work he performs. I have been a loyal customer for many years. Alex is my go to person for any and all problems Ive ever had with my computers. When my computer has crashed he and his team have recovered all of my data. He typically answers calls directly and if not he returns the calls very promptly. When I need assistance understanding my computer Alex takes the time to go over it all with me. Their fees are very reasonable.

I had a great experience 6 months ago with Allocate Tech and its manager and staff. When my old desktop computers hard drive failed, after diagnosing the problem the staff gave me options of what to do. I chose to purchase (at a very reasonable cost) a reconditioned HP desktop computer. They transferred all my files and added some software. Everything has worked fine since then, and I have recommended them to my friends. (One of my friends had recommended them to me.)

Alex Vue was amazingly helpful. He fixed my computer and had it up, running and improved in less time than he said it would take. I live in Davis, the home of the tech-nerds, but Ill happily drive the causeway to see Alex at Allocate when I have a computer issue.

Apple was going to charge me $700 to fix my macbook. I brought it to Alex instead for a simple fix and he was able to diagnose the right problem even though the APPLE store couldnt. He only charged me $95 and saved me hundreds. He went the extra mile to fix my macbook when other places wouldn’t. Alex really puts his customer’s best interest first.

Due to a problem last week when my PC tried to automatically upgrade its Windows 10 operating system version, failed, and then was unable to restore the previous version, I had no functioning computer. Since my PC was 9 years old, and had been repeatedly and unsuccessfully attempting to upgrade to the new version since December, I decided to just go ahead and get a new one, but keep the hard drives and copy the data. I tried to remove the drives myself, but after taking out the screws could not see what was still locking the assembly in. I took it to Allocate Tech, and the technician, Mik, removed the assembly and drives and said he would not charge me for something so simple and quick. He also anticipated that I would be copying the data, explained some of the problems I might run into when trying to do the C drive Users folder, gave some tips on how to get around them (in addition of course to searching Google for solutions), and how much it would cost to transfer the data if I could not and had to bring it back. I did experience a few problems, but got around them all with the advice he gave and did not have to use Google. I appreciate his performing this service gratis, and giving me the advice.ps: my new PC only has one drive, and I am thinking of having it partitioned to separate the operating system from the data. If I decide to go ahead, I will be returning to Allocate for this service as I do not feel comfortable enough to do it myself.

The laptop I bought on craigslist black screened on me and they were nice enough to transfer my data however, I bought a used lap top shortly after for 200 dollars and so slightly after warranty it had black screened on me again and system restore would not even work and I had lost all my data. It was a completr waste of my money. Do not invest in an old or used laptop just save your money for better newer laptop that is under 1 year or more warranty.

Alex has gotten my Mac up and running a couple times in the past 2yrs. Always figures out the issue and fixes it within 24 hrs., at reasonable cost.
