Fantastic! They were very up front about their pricing (which was fairly priced), and were AMAZING at keeping me up to date on what they needed to do. They did so well that my mom took hers to them, and she doesnt trust ANYONE with her computer! Thank you guys!

Theses guys were awesome. I highly recommend giving this business some love over the other repair guys you hear advertised all over. I tried calling the bigger guys such as Tech 2u and Geek Squad. Tech 2 you couldnt get to my issue for at least 3 days. Geek squad didnt answer. I brought my pc in one afternoon and had it back in 1 day. They fixed the problem and gave me a great price. GO NERDS!

Price - 3/5 stars. $170+ for PC install. Kind of a price gouge, but its mid range from what Ive seen in multiple geographic markets. You can do it yourself with a cold beer and 2 hours. Experts can put it together in less than 1 hr. I understand there are more expenses to handle, but even with rent, employee pay, advertisement pay, marketing pay, manager pay, profit margin, I find it hard to justify $170+ for a simple one hour install.Service - 2/5 stars. Didnt even bother dusting the case/parts completely, failed to check thermal paste, service man said that the temps were fine but realistically with a blower type GPU it should be the first thing you do after you see the GPU has been in constant operation for 4 years. The paste was entirely dried out, and because the PCB was exposed I could reapply the thermal paste in less than 30 seconds, and check the status in 10.Atmosphere - 5/5 stars. I dont know his name, but a friendly serviceman first took my rig. He knew exactly what was going on and what hes talking about. Made me feel at ease and were he at the front desk or picked up my call, I would have actually forked out the extra $100 for him to put my rig together.The second serviceman was also knowledgeable and friendly. Both of their services and advice was incredible. Second guy even offered me some pointers if I needed to figure out how to set my rig up if it was my first time. With a $170+ price tag, I did expect some above and beyond service. Little things like being warned that the Asus Z-170A motherboard I was recommended doesnt come with an RGB header so I need to grab an RGB controller myself (like a Razer one), or checking my thermal paste as mentioned before, or even dusting my components.All in all, I paid $60 for them to plug various components of my computer into a test bed (about 10 minutes-25 minutes of work). I wouldnt say this is particularly fair, but with my experience Id leave them with these 3 stars. I will return in the future and give Nerds on Call another shot, because they could easily be a 5 star company if they take care of the little things.

Great dudes. I wish I would have gone to them originally, but I wasted a bit of money trying to get my IMAC fixed somewhere else. Also, other shops are a joke, and do not compare. It was good to go into a shop, and have everything fully explained to me. Thanks guys!

During the past two weeks or so, I have had occasion to use Nerds on Call, with a number of their competent help. Last was today, with Darius, Once with Jay, and once with another party, I dont have their name handy..I had not been able to figure out how to post comments properly, until today, when Darius fixed that issue for me. My service with these folks is exceptional. The benefits far out weigh any associated costs. They are unbelievable in their competency..

Nick was professional, helpful, patient, understanding and competent. He understood what I was trying to ask help with to fix computer even though I am not computer literate. He fixed the problem and throughout the process he was kind, considerate, understanding. He even had a good sense of humor while being patient with this 80 year old codger.

I had a free diagnostic appointment for laptop repair, and the person I talked with was very helpful and transparent. He even mentioned that I could do the repair myself without much difficulty! I was impressed that this business cares so much about helping you find the best solution. Ill be coming back to them in the future!

These techs moved all my hard drive contents from a dead CPU to my new laptop. It cost $179, but comes with a month of premium support to help me get up and running. I ran into several difficulties attaching all the peripherals, but Rhaeme answered all my questions clearly and helped me with a live interaction on my laptops to set up a second display monitor. I am grateful for their help.

I have been with Nerds for about 6 months. They have been helping keep my old computer running. When my old computer finally died.I bought a new computer from them. They took my old computer and transferred all my files and Programs over to the new custom built computer they built for me.As usual, when dealing with computers if something can go wrong, it will.They continued to work with me for several days getting all the bugs out, until the new computer ran perfect. All my old files were completely transferred over, and most important they were able to get all my programs transferred over as well. I dealt with several different Tech people, everyone was always polite and very patient with me. Great bunch of people to deal with. Jeremy was the last Tech I dealt with, he is the one that finished fixing the last of the bugs. He really knows the ins and outs of computers.Every time I called they were fast to respond. AGAIN, I desperately needed a NERD to help with some odd, frustratingly bizarre behavior with my laptop. It is SO comforting to know I have access to Nerds On Call experts that can figure it out. Took a couple of days to fix email issue re OUTLOOK but they stayed on it. Of course, they receive other business while helping you and it can be frustrating when at 6pm only one guy is on location to handle calls and work on your issue, but they stay on it. And per chance they dont resolve your issue in 1 day, theyre ready to take your call the next day and start again until they do fix it. Sincere people and they do want to be helpful.

They are always there when I need them and the fix is quick and well done. I love the Nerds. Best investment Ive ever made.

Ive been a yearly service contract with NOC since 2012. They are the best at problem solving. Last year I got a new Epson printer which wouldnt work properly and numerous calls to Epson support over several days accomplished nothing. I finally called Nerds and the representative knew what needed to be downloaded and my printer started working 5 minutes later! Most years Ive only needed to call them a couple of times but theyve saved my computer from some major problems when Ive needed them.

Nerds on call provided me with abysmal service. I called them the other day to ask them to come out asap. I had to get information off of my computer to bring to my hematologist (cancer pt.) Doug came out andpurportedly fixed my computer. The next day it wasnt fixed, nor was my phone. I urgently called them and asked the man that answered the phone to look at my computer from his office. He refused to do so.All he would say is you have a 30 day guarantee yet he refused to help meimmediately, and said that Doug needed to take care of that. Due to them I missed my hematology appointment. I now have to go to the Mayo Clinic or Johns Hopkins. I think I would have died from this anyway, yet they hammered the nails in my coffin. Please, Boycott them!!

I dont know how I ever survived with Nerds on Call. There is never a time that I contact them online and they are not there to help me within a minute or less. I have purchased the yearly contract from them for the past 5 years if not more and it is the BEST money I have ever spent. They take care of my computer and printer issues all the time. Sometimes it might take two attempts to get the job completed but it gets done. Thank you to these professionals who give not only wonderful service but are always courteous and kind!!!

I am a self-employed consultant with a home office. I have maintained an ongoing contract for several years with Nerds on Call who provides me with great IT support when I need it. For a flat yearly fee, I can contact them by phone or by an icon on my computer so that we can chat and they can quickly remote in to address whatever problem Im experiencing. Technicians have also made house calls to help me with set-up, configuration, and picking up my computer to take in for repair. When they make an on site visit, thats an additional cost, but I dont mind because its part of my business overhead. I would recommend Nerds on Call.
