I came to visit some storages today and this location was the best! The area some would think isn’t the best. But the quality of service was definitely exceptional. I met the manager of the place, Diamond. And she is so sweet!!! She was in the middle of cleaning and stopped what she was doing just to show me some units. I can tell she keeps the place clean and again her customer service was magnificent!

I had a great experience coming to this place, Im really glad I had Diamond help me out, she is a really good worker, I really appreciate her doing her best.I recommend this place 100%

I came in store to complete rental and take a look at the storage unit I created a reservation for. I was trying to get the $1 special. But unfortunately this location didnt have any promotions available. That kind of bummed me out. Then I met the property manager at that location and she made me feel more comfortable with the pricing. The property was clean and it looks like she takes great care of the place. The property manager Diamond made buying a storage a unique experience and I give her 5 stars for her great service.

I’m thinking of moving to California. I’m in town visiting and I wanted to check out a storage at the N 16th location because I never rented one and wanted to be prepared by the time I move. The PM there Diamond was able to assist me and answer all my questions her personality is very warm. I wanted to get a unit today just off her kindness. However, I don’t plan on making the move until late August/ earlySeptember. Definitely will be back!!

We had a wonderful experience moving in! The first day we moved in, the manager helped checked me in. She was nice, quick and efficient. On our official move in day, Josie was very helpful! She came to check on us and see how we were doing. She also reminded us that they have their bathroom open and water if needed any. Josie was polite and very sweet! We are very happy to have chosen this location as it is also very close to our new home. Couldn’t have had a better experience!

Im a real estate agent, and Im thinking of storing some of my business items, usually I like to rent with extra space storage, but I came across Public Storage off N 16th street and I met the property manager there, her name is Diamond, and she showed me a couple of her units and it was an overall good experience getting the run down of how Public Storage operates.

A+ Service received at 311 N 16th Street Public Storage. Convenient location, super nice and helpful people. Don’t let the iffy area deter you. This is a very secure storage facility with management onsite after hours. Highly recommend!

I’ve had two units at the N 16th st property since 2018; although there has been staff turnover, the current staff is phenomenal. I had a couple of questions regarding covid procedures at public storage; Yvette was cleaning up the property when I asked about the covid policies. This facility is great! They have done a fantastic job cleaning the facility up. They are awesome at managing auto billing and receipts. Chelsea, is always very pleasant and easy to work with! Would recommend using this facility if you have storage needs.

Friendly staff, well-maintained, air-conditioned and easy in and out. The only thing lacking is later hours. 6pm is just not late enough to accomplish what you need to do after working until 5.

We stored here for a few months until just recently after a move to the Bay Area. The place had always been well run. The manager Chelcea has been great help. Its a great place to do business.

I was unsure of which company to go with, however once I spoke to Chelsea I knew this was someone I could trust. The first month special is currently 1$, and she gives excellent customer service. Very nice staff. Made me feel important. The Manager was very busy and still took his time showing me different size units. This property is in a questionable area but after I was told about all of their security procedures I felt comfortable that my items would be safe.

The woman that helped me was just fantastic. Charnell is her name and WOW, smart, courteous, knowledgeable, just a great employee for Public Storage. We here in Sacramento are truly lucky to have her here in our community.

Was good intaily but my storgae unit ended up getting broke into and everything was stolen. The company could care less and still demanded rent even though unit was empty. I spoke to customer service and they lied and said they would waive rent and fees associated with the unit. Now Im getting collection calls stating I owe the $300 and took a hit on my credit. The insurance you are forced to purchase when opening the unit is garbage and denied claim. I would not recommend them to anyone all they care about is the dollar.

I came to property to get rates on storage units. I received great customer service today from Charnell. She was very courteous and polite. She is very knowledgeable regarding public storage products and this was very helpful.

The manager, Joy, is a delightful person, who worked tirelessly to help myself and other customers the entire time I was there. The location of this Public Storage definitely seems like it brings some challenges, but despite all of the things she was dealing with that morning Joy took it all in stride and made me feel that my stuff would be well-cared for. One person can make a huge difference in a customers experience.

Both John and Joy were a great help! They assured us that as college students living hours away, our stuff would be kept safe and clean! I would absolutely use this storage rental again!

Merle, at the 311 16th St location, made my experience very pleasant. She was very sweet and professional. She made sure to call and confirm my appointment before I showed, and gave steps to make the reservation easy as possible. Once there, she helped me choose the best fit for my needs, and I was able to leave with keys to my new unit.

I posted a negative review of an experience I had with this franchise during my last 18 months renting there. I since have had a dialog with a regional manager--who called me while at the hospital having just experienced the birth of his child. He was exactly what a consumer expects from his position and even better. While my situation has not officially been resolved, I am confident that the leadership of this operation is concerned with their clients satisfaction. Marcus Cooley is an example of what I referred to in my review of Dec. 17, 2017.

Wonderful place, staff is pleasant and has a great attitude to always help (when needed). If you have the opportunity to meet or be helped by Chelsea, then you will be more than happy with your experience here. Love them, love them, love them all. Keep up the good work.

I hope everyone reading these reviews notices a few things..(since i doubt this 1 star review will be one of the first that anyone sees)..Most of the reviewers writing these 5 star reviews have only written one review, the one about this storage facility. (The number of reviews written is listed under the reviewers name)Probably the same number of said reviews specifically mention an employees name in the review, praising her or him. If you regularly read google reviews, you would notice that this listing has a disproportionate number of specific employee mentions. Why would that many people go out of their way to write a review of this place but NOWHERE else?The same reviews are typically quite short and dont go into much detail beyond the mention/praise of employees, if they say anything at all.--* what this would tell a logical person is that these reviews are being solicited/requested by the staff to make them look good.Even if i didnt deduce that on my own.... I actually know it to be true from my own personal experience opening an account here to rent a unit. I wont name names because it really doesnt matter, clearly all employees ask for the customers to do this. Idk if its a store requirement that you ask all customers, or if its some kind of contest among them. Once my 1st payment was made, and all documents signed to rent a unit, the employee asked if we could please help her out by leaving a good review with a mention of her name in the body of it.Also... These reviews are written upon opening an account/renting a unit here. Which means... They have no real experience yet with this location! Basically, their overall rating is BS!!I have had a unit here for a few years because i dont have the means to move my things at this point. I would not reccomend this place to anyone! Its disgusting. It smells like urine everywhere. The homeless crowd is out of control, but they pick and choose who to harass, apparently. I say that because i would see the same shady characters hanging out either in plain sight in their units, or somewhat hidden behind their belongings. I was harassed once spending a few hours in my unit trying to organize it and find a few items. I have a couch stored there, on which i sat for about 15-20 minutes while taking a break because it was about 95° outside. An employee walked over my unit to basically yell at me and my friend who was helping that we werent allowed to hang out and loiter here. Also, she was very upset that the garage style door on the unit was only about 90% open, and it needed to be fully open for us to be in there.On top of this, as others have stated, the fees have been consistently been increasing while the gate hours have been consistently decreasing. 5 pm seems to me to be a pretty extremely early closing time. Especially considering that most people are barely getting off work at that time. Do i have to take a day off to be able to get into my unit?All in all, i would rate 0 stars if possible. I would NEVER reccomend anyone leave their belongings here given any other choice

Oh my goodness I was looking for a storage facility to meet my needs Joy was so pleasant and patient she understood older people take a little more time she showed me 5 units even stayed late. I have lived up the street around here for years. We had storage a long time ago but hard times had fell and unfortunately had to move out storage. Now as I come back, I was welcome and greeted by 2 wonderful individuals named Joy and Rebecca. They were both very pleasant and kind. This is definitely a good place for storage, and the staff is top notch. Cant find that much now a days :)

Merlinda was amazing today ! She helped us get our unit, was very fast, efficient, and beyond friendly. You can tell that she cares about providing the best service to each and every person who comes in the door! I would highly recommend coming to this property to any future friends looking for a space.

I was referred to this location by another property manager at a nearby public storage facility near sac state. Glad i was, because it saved me hundreds of dollars over the summer while my belongings from my dorm were being stored. The location of this facility is in a sketchy place, but the cheaper price is well worth it. John, the property manager, was wonderful! Super helpful and more than willing to help me get the lowest rate on my unit. Very satisfied with how smooth renting, moving in and out went!

She was knowledgeable and helped explain the process on the rental and how to save the most money with packing supplies. I will for sure be coming back at the end of the month to rent here. Great customer service! When first arriving I was a little nervous due to the sketchy neighborhood. Lots of homeless people standing around staring at you. Once inside though I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The manager John helped me and was so friendly! I only needed a space short term and he was able to give me a great deal and was so friendly and fun to talk with. (And has such amazing hair!!) I would highly recommend this location and would encourage asking for John when making your reservation!

The personal service that is received from John the manager is the pinnacle reason I stay at this location. He takes care of business. But they should get him some help occasionally. However he is a one man army! Give the poor guy a break. Public storage compliments on your personal choices.

Location is definitely not the best but the staff were extremely helpful. This was my first time needing to rent a storage and Chanda (staff member) was so helpful!
