I took my custom built pc tower in after a mishap corrupted my windows OS. They were able to fix the problem and have my computer back to me the same day. Then when I had troubles with what I thought was my power supply the next day, they let me bring my computer back in and took a second look at it. Turns out it wasn’t an issue and they were once again able to get my computer back to me the same day. It’s now working perfectly! Super professional as well as nice people working here.
They never called me back about an appointment
Very friendly people, and my laptop is still running smoothly after the repair. Pretty quality repair job.
In 2017 I brought my MacBook Pro here and paid around 100 bucks for them to perform maintenance and fix an error where the computer would randomly shut down and not reboot without resetting the ram. After several times of getting the computer back and having to return it to the shop because the error kept occurring, they eventually told me I had a bad motherboard and that it would be 600$ to fix. At the time I was a broke college student so I had to get by the last 2 years of my engineering program using one of my dads old laptops. Today I brought the Mac to a computer repair shop where I now live in Austin and found that the only thing wrong with my pc was a bad stick of ram. While the personal interactions I had at here were good, they had absolutely no idea what they were doing and cost me money, time, and an incredible amount of headache at an extremely inopportune time in the school year. I would recommend that anyone looking for knowledgable computer repair services go elsewhere.
Friendly and very knowledgeable.
Computer Solutions helped me to set up my new computer system. I checked around town to compare prices of different computer companies and they definitely had the best price by far. The technician arrived promptly at the time we had scheduled. He did a wonderful job! These people are professional and they take pride in their work. Highly recommended!
I have been doing business with Computer Solutions for several years, and I have always been impressed. The technicians were always courteous, knowledgeable, and professional both in the store and at my home. I thought I had lost my portfolio from a demolished laptop, but they were able to recover the data overnight.I wouldnt take my money any where else.
Had a decent experience here. The front desk tech was very knowledgeable. I did not experience him as feeling better than as some others have written but more matter of fact. The longer I spoke to him the more I realized he was just a no BS kind of guy. I had my computer put in for screen issues and he basically told me what could possibly be wrong with it and looked up the parts that day to call me back and give me a quote to have it fixed. He had it quoted around $300.00 and I would have paid to have it fixed, but instead of going for the quick money grab he advised me to wait and use it as is because it was likely at the end of its life anyways and I would be paying for a repair that might be wasted in 6 months time. To me, that was a class act because he could have just grabbed the 300 from me and sent me walking. Only complaint is that they never actually opened my computer up and checked what I asked them too and just stated what was likely the problem (cable issue or bad screen) BUT! When I returned and mentioned this to, who I assumed was the owner, she offered to not charge me or open and check just to make sure for the diagnostic fee cost. I really wanted my computer back and it probably wouldnt have made a difference whether they opened it or not so I chose to just leave. Still, I paid the fee. She said I didnt have to but they were honest with me the whole time, spent time explaining what they were doing/did, kept a super clean shop (the reason I chose here over another place in town), and seemed like genuinely good people. I just wish they would have check that cable while it was there, just to be sure. Did not want to leave it there for another day and not have it for work.
We were referred to computer solution by Apple since they were the closest servicing center. Huge mistake. When we dropped off the computer, the tech behind the counter had an attitude, and talked to us like we were beneath him. He had zero customer service skills as well as no social skills. He finally told us we could expect to have the computer back by noon the next day since the Apple tech wasn’t in the store. So, after 1pm the next day, we call to check on it, it’s not finished. But it doesn’t end there, now all of a sudden we have 6 people ahead of us, and it hasn’t been touched yet. We knew the issue was the charger, so rather than wait on them, we went to pick it up. They threw a fit, in the back, because he was “running diagnostics and if they really want it now, I’ll stop and they can take it but we can’t complete the warranty work”. Well guess what guys, we heard your hissy fit behind the counter. Completely unprofessional. I’ll never take a computer here again. I’ll drive the 2hrs to the Apple store in MS. That’s what I should have done in the first place.
I took my Mac in to have the battery replaced. The establishment was clean. When I dropped my laptop off the man at the receiving desk commented that my computer was mint condition for its age. I told him that I keep it in a case and had only removed it to bring it in.When I removed my computer from its case I wiped it off with a cloth, bottom and top. There was no damage to my computer, Im sure of that. When I picked my computer up there was a huge dent and a small gash on the bottom of the casing, causing the casing to bubble on the side. There was something sticky on that side, like food particles.I called the company and they told me to bring it back in. The tech met me at the counter and told me that when he finished the computer there was no damage to it and that he took pride in his work. I explained to him that I took pride in my computer and kept it in mint condition and that I had checked it before I brought it in. He took it to the back to see what he could do and then brought it back in the same condition but with more gunk on it.I would not recommend their services and will not be returning. Battery replacement = $212.06 and a damaged computer.
Great and fast service. Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable.
Computer Solutions are great! You couldnt ask for a better group of people. Rhonda, Matt, & David have always strived to fix whatever problem I have. They are fair and reasonable on cost too. I manage a business in Ruston and would recommend these guys to any other business around.
I wish I would have read the Google reviews before I brought my computer here. If a business feels the need to respond and justify every negative review, it says more about their character than it does about the original writers. The staff here is friendly and helpful for the most part, aside from the front desk worker who spoke to me like I was incompetent. I had to bring my computer back a second time, and I was happy to hear they would wave the $25 fee to fix what they broke. My computer was close to the end of its life, and Rhonda was very helpful explaining that. My biggest problem was that no one would ever let me speak to the guy that actually worked on and handled my laptop. I dropped it off during Christmas break in hopes to get it back before school started, being reassured by them that it would be ready in this time frame, but it was not. Overall they just did not hold up their end of the bargain and were a tad too unprofessional for me to return.
They handled my macbook repair very quickly and were easy to contact throughout the process.
Can always depend on Computer Solutions for business as well as personal computing needs.
Horribly rude on the phone. Told me a hardware problem was a damaged motherboard and they would have to order parts and it would take almost a week but did it in a condescending as hell tone. I took it to another place, they took it apart, fixed it in a few hours, I had it back that day (all they had to do was open to see what was wrong). Dont go here. Go to Hi-Tech.
Just moved from Modesto, CA. Trying to get things set-up, we tried another provider for our internet, phone and Wi-Fi. Living in the sticks like we do we had nothing but problems. I couldnt log on to the internet yet our provider said we where and charged us as we were.(another story). Wife and I both have home based business not large but needed to make the ends meet. At this time couldnt even check our online checking accounts. (This really Sucked) My Sister In-law who with the Dixie Theater suggested CS, It also should be said she suggested the other provider. In any case I give them a call and next this guy Matt comes out (I think that was his name) after I saw him work I just call him YODA!The guy good he told what was wrong, it would have been easier to tell what was working. A long story short he had to take it in to the shop, I think it was late the next afternoon YODA got back a set-uo and running. When I say running better then it did new out of the box. So if you having problems that you would like fixed the frist time and fair pricing call my friend YODA. Tell him Michael the guitar guy sent you.
Took my iMac for warranty repairs. Twice for same problem. I still have the same problem. Go elsewhere if you need help.
I had broken my macbooks screen and they had it fixed in no time. Cheaper than I expected.
Great choice for mac warranty
