I’ve used Sabrina for years for jeans, bridesmaid dress alterations, you name it! It was finally my turn to get married and Sabrina is amazing! She made all my wedding dress dreams come true! I’m petite, so my wedding dress needing so much work to fit me properly - she was absolutely amazing, thoughtful and really told me what looked good, what I needed to fix and what looked best on me. From having to take out tons of tulle, take off horse hair, shorten sleeves, the list goes on! I’ve never been happier with how it all turned out and it was literally the dress of my dreams!

*update: after I sent an email pointing out that she can respond to others and not me, and posting this review, miraculously, she can get my emails*I was recommended Sabrina from my wedding FB group, not sure why. From what I can tell from our communication she doesn’t want any business. I sent a message about getting my wedding dress altered. Sabrina sent a reply email. By the time I got the reply, I had already seen another seamstress but needed to get my fiancé’s suit done. Asked about that and her response instantly became shorter. Whatever idk she was recommended so I just need to suit done. Between July 15th and today, August 10th, I’ve sent Sabrina 4 emails trying to follow up about our conversation. She told me before the 10th that she was having issues with her email. Sure that’s understandable. What’s so funny about that is two of my friends emailed her about getting alterations and she responded to both of them lol. She has carried on back and forth via email conversation never once saying she was having email problems. Not once did she even take two business days to respond. Even have one friend send a message at the same exact time as me and she responded almost instantly. I guess her emails work for some people and not the others. Such a shame. Wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

You will regret going anywhere else with your wedding dress or alteration needs!! Sabrina and her team at Divine Alterations are phenomenal!!! I’m so glad I found her. I originally had a different wedding dress, but the ceremony grew larger than we expected. I needed a dress with more glamour. Sabrina had the original dress and was about to start working on the hem on a Wednesday when I contacted her. She stopped working on it and waited for me to arrive at my next appointment that following Tuesday with the new dress. We had 2 weeks before the wedding, and she made time for me for 3 fittings, amidst prom season no less. I was cutting it close, but somehow we made it work. Any challenge you bring to her, Sabrina will meet them all! She is so patient and kind and will tell you the truth if she thinks something will work or not. If there is a problem, like the hem is too long after they’ve hemmed it or the cups are not in the right place, she will keep working on it until it’s perfect. There is no problem she can’t handle. They did an excellent job! Very efficient and good at what they do. Customer service is outstanding. She squeezed me in last minute (day before wedding!) to make sure everything still looked good and help me out. She also tailored the grooms shirt last minute. Very sweet, and I appreciate all they do!

Here are the before and after photos of my experience with Divine. Let me first say, they were the sweetest ladies around. They asked all the questions about what I wanted in my wedding dress and completely transformed a dress that was extremely difficult to alter! I had no creases throughout my dress and it was perfectly made for my shape. I could not be more happier with Divine!

There is no one better than Divine! I used her for my destination wedding and WOW. She knows a womans body and the stress that comes with planning a wedding. She saw multiple times, guided me on what size to buy, told me how we would shape it before changes were made. I had a delicate lace dress that had to be altered, I was very nervous since it was very expressive and she did a phenomenal job! The best part was that she saw me the DAY before I flew out to make sure that everything was perfect, she told me weight goes up and down so doing things 6 months out is pointless. This woman is honest, brilliant, higher priced than most BUT so SO WORTH IT. You can trust her with the most important dress of your life.

She was sweet and personable, and she made the process seamless.On top of the amazing job she did on my dress, my husband (then fiance) needed his pants hemmed at the last minute. TL;DR This place does amazing work and is super professionalI had gotten my wedding dress from Second Summer Bridal, but it needed some serious tailoring. And since we were doing a destination wedding, I was going to need to carry on the dress. As with most of my dresses, the top is loose, and the bottom is tight. Sabrina didnt bat an eyelash at the alterations, and immediately gave me a quote that was really amazing and within my budget. I got the dress to her fairly early on in the process, so I had a lot of anxiety about it not fitting by the time that the wedding came along. But Sabrina was amazing and kept me calm throughout the entire process and made it as easy as possible. I have already recommended them to my friends, and will be coming back for other alterations as needed.

I cannot say enough about Sabrina and her wonderful staff. Knowledgeable, committed and an eye for perfection. I brought in my wedding gown just wanting cups added but when I arrived it was obvious I needed a little more work than a set of cups added. Note, my wedding was January 28, I brought my gown in a week prior and picked it up 2 days before the wedding, So these ladies likely worked day and night on removing the lace details, correcting my gown, putting my pace details back into my gown, in record time!I cannot say enough about them, they will forever be my go to for all things needed!

Amazing job! I had my bridesmaids dress and daughter’s flower girl dress altered here. Both dresses turned out perfect - my daughter’s dress had a detailed lace bodice and they had to take it in two sizes....you couldn’t even tell...it looked great! Wonderful prices! I will most definitely recommend this place to anyone! Sabrina, her mom and the girls did a fabulous job with my wedding dress, both of my sisters bridesmaid dresses and my moms dress. One thing to know beforehand is that they do not accept credit cards, but you can pay as you go (for items you need to come in multiple times for like a wedding dress).

Absolutely fantastic! Sabrina tailored my sons suit pants to fit him perfectly! The pants were baggy on him and she tapered them to give him a customized look! He loves the fit and is excited and confident about wearing his suit to an upcoming wedding. Also, as busy as she was, she accommodated this major alteration to fit our tight schedule. Sabrina is wonderful. She is sweet and kind to all her customers, and makes sure that you are happy with your final product. She is extremely transparent about the cost of each alteration, so I was not surprised with any final bills. I think her prices are just a teeny tiny bit above average for alterations, but it is well worth it. I had 4-5 fittings and each one was perfect. She made sure I was happy and communicated exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend.

Best place to get alterations! I have gotten many dresses done here. They are so quick! And they make sure you love theyre work before you leave with it. Oh! And today when I realized one of my rompers for a wedding had one strap longer than the other, I walked in and showed them and they fixed it for me then and there in like 30 minutes! LIFESAVERS! Sabrina at Divine altered my wedding dress for me. She and her mom practically redid the entire bodice so that it would fit just how I envisioned! I did the fittings before my bridals in April, and the dress looked amazing and the photos turned out fabulous! Then I tried my dress days before my July 2 wedding. It didnt fit! It was too big. I had been working out and due to some stress not related to the wedding, I had lost inches! We dropped the dress off 2 days before the wedding. My dad picked it up hours before I was supposed to say I do! Talk about stressful! But when the time came to zip it up, it fit perfect. The entire room gave a sigh of relief! They fitted the dress perfect and then rescued me when I lost more weight then expected. Even my wedding coordinator asked who I used, she was so impressed! I wouldnt trust anyone else!!

I have NOTHING short of amazing things to say about this company. My dress needed very difficult alterations on the top-beaded portion and a corset on the back and they did so wonderful! Thank you, Sabrina! You made my daughter look like an angel on prom night. We left an email the week of prom for a hem alteration. Prom was that Saturday, 4/7/18! My daughter wanted to wear a ball gown that I had worn to a military ball with my husband some years prior. My husband committed suicide 1/29/2010 from undiagnosed PTSD after a 16 month deployment. She wanted a way for her dad to be with her on this special day. She got us in on a Tuesday, we picked up the dress on Thursday. It was perfect! The price was spectacular, for such a fast turnaround. Thank you for everything! You may not truly understand how happy you made us both!! (I’d post a pic, but I’m not that smart lol)

They haven’t finished tailoring my wedding dress yet but I want to give y’all 5 stars for customer service skills. I previously went to “Alterations by Sara” a few months ago being promised all my needs would be met. Long story short my dress still did not fit my figure and they blamed me for gaining weight! On the risk of being called fat again I made an appointment here. The two beautiful ladies greeted me with smiles, explained how they are going to tailor my dress, and offered expert opinions when I asked questions. I just want to say thank you for being so nice to me.

My oldest daughter had her prom dress altered beautifully & quickly & then my middle daughter had both her prom dresses altered (& they both required very specialized alterations) & they turned out perfectly & were fairly inexpensive for all they had to do! Now I only have a son left, so we probably wont be seeing her anymore unless we need personal alterations. 😉

Literally, THE nicest ladies! They were very flexible with booking appts around my work schedule and if I was running late due to traffic they were understanding and accommodating. I took my bridesmaid dress in for heming on the bottom, removing boning in the back, taking in the bust, and steam/press. My dress fits perfectly and is wedding day ready. Great service and return time

When we purchased or daughters bridal grown the shop ordered incorrectly and therefore the zipper wouldnt zip. They took a great deal of time and care to alter the gown, which consisted of taking a size 12 gown (which was to small in the bust) and taking the waste and hip down to a size 0 (which originally was also a size 12, obviously). Needless to say it was a huge undertaking to make needed adjustments and have everything look as it was supposed to. They did a wonderful job. They also had to add a bustle. I think. A lot of these alterations our daughter could have done but it was nice to have it done so easily was a great prossess. I would recommend these ladies over and over! They are very talented . She is wonderful!

I can not say enough good things about Divine. Sabrina was literally a godsend. I had the absolute worst wedding dress alteration nightmare story just prior to meeting her. The store where I bought my dress from recommended me to this other alterations lady in Georgetown. I scheduled to first meet with this lady in Jan because I wanted to have enough time for all the alterations to be completed before my wedding in mid April. Over the next couple months, this lady kept having to postpone our dress fittings because she “didn’t have time to work on it,” saying she had been busy with other wedding dresses or would have random health issues arise. I kept trying to be nice and give this woman chances to redeem herself, but time and time again she kept letting me down. Finally, during the last week of March after she texted me saying she needed more time again, that’s when I had enough-- I picked up my dress and called Sabrina’s store right away sobbing about my horror story. Sabrina was SO nice from the very beginning and accommodated me that very day. After showing her all the alterations I needed done (mind you, there were a lot needed and I literally had 2.5 weeks left before my wedding), I was so nervous she wasn’t going to be able to get it all done in time with such a tight timeline and her being booked with a thousand other appointments. But Sabrina confidently says “no worries, I will get this done for you,” gave me a quote right then and there and scheduled me to return for a fitting 10 days later. During each fitting, Sabrina made sure that every single detail was attended to and that it looked exactly like I wanted. Despite having such a packed schedule, Sabrina was so accommodating and always let me spend as much time as I needed in front of the mirror in my dress looking it over just to make sure it was perfect. Over the next 2.5 weeks, it only took 3 more fittings before I was able to pick up my dress 2 days before my wedding day. They were able to transform it into my dream dress I had been envisioning for so long! It was an absolute miracle! Everyone kept commenting on how gorgeous my dress was. Not only that, Sabrina was even so kind to let me come into her store 2 months after my wedding because I needed someone to bustle me up in my dress again for my trash-the-dress photo shoot. I am so happy I was able to find Sabrina. I would go to her again in a heartbeat. Not only was she incredibly talented, she was extremely professional. Never would she promise me a dress fitting on a certain date and then text/call me saying she needed more time to work on it. She always stuck to her word. Also despite having the busiest schedule ever (nonstop appointments ~every 15-30 min), she was always so collective and on top of things. She is seriously BADASS. No wonder why she is rated so highly online. She deserves every single glowing review online. Thank you so much for your amazing talent and support!
