I had first taken my 2006 BMW 325CI to Marioshop last year due to a CEL warning. Let me just say Marioshop took care of me from initial call to repair. Mario and his entire crew are extremely knowledgeable in BMW repair and are scrupulous in how they conduct business. Mario himself diagnosed my vehicle. Marioshop will not inflate you bill with repairs or parts you do not need. They use the best quality OEM parts and their work is top notch and done in a timely manner. I have since brought my vehicle back to them for cooling system and suspension repair. I come to absolutely trust and look at this shop as my without question go to whenever I have any problems or concerns with my vehicle. Best auto service and repair shop have ever experienced. Service with a smile and shuttle ride is free back to your house and from your house to pick up your car if your within a minimum distance. Ive recently visited this shop for my BMW 3 series car service and they did an excellent job. I felt like I wasted lot of money going to Mc Neil to get this oil change and service done where they charged a bomb. I highly recommend this shop for your car service and their customer service is excellent!!!! They also are extremely fast getting your car back on the road.I bent my tire rod running over a curb the road and the staff gave me a ride back to my house while they took a look at my car. Mario saved about $600 when he could have easily taken advantage of us because I dont know much about cars. Our AC went out and we needed a new coil for our compressor. Most places would have replaced the whole compressor for about $1000 but he did a little research (on his own time) and found just the coil. Replacing it was only $400 and I was so thankful for his honesty. I will definitely be using them in the future.

We’ve been taking our vehicles here for a couple of years. A very good job has always been done. My wife’s car kept having the check engine light come on. They’d get one thing fixed and it would come on again. They kept after it until the problems were solved. The latest was my work van. I had a list of things to look at. They must have done a thorough inspection because problems were found that were not really related to the issues I wanted looked at. Those problems would have put the van in the shop in the near future had they not been addressed this time. I rely on the van for my livelyhood. Being in the shop makes working difficult. In the Navy we would say, Bravo Zulu, job well done!

After receiving a diagnosis (steering pump needing replaced) and quote from a Honda service center, I decided to call around to various mechanics in the Round Rock/Austin area for quotes. I chose to go with Marioshop because of its convenient location and the price that Preston (office manager) quoted. Both Preston and Mario are very professional and friendly. The office and garage appear very clean. Mario, at first, wanted to use a factory part (because of his concern for quality). But because that would have made the cost substantially higher, he looked to see who makes the aftermarket part. When he saw who makes it, he felt very comfortable installing it and assured me that it is a high-quality aftermarket part. My car was repaired within the same day I took it in. And its running great!

We have been customers of Marios for nearly 5 years and recommend the service and repairs we have had done to our Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo very highly. Mario has always gone the extra mile to make sure that everything is done to the highest standard and for very reasonable costs. Five stars arent enough, wed give more if we could.

I have used Marioshop since their inception. I have never had an issue with any of the work theyve done. I have always been contacted prior to any work being done on my car. I recently brought a few different vehicles in for pre-purchase inspections, and they let me know that a few of them would cost me a significant amount of cash in the near future even though the cars looked too be in great shape. The final car I brought in passed with flying colors, and they even gave me some pointers on how to keep the car running for years to come.

I went in for general maintenance, ended up needing an oil change and an oil cap replaced. I got great service and left not feeling broke! Preston even showed me the damaged oil cap and explained why it broke and how they were fixing it. The only downfall is that they are closed over the weekends which is bad if you cannot get time off from work.

I highly recommend Marioshop! I took my BMW Z there recently for an issue with the convertible top. They diagnosed the issue, thoroughly tested all the mechanical and electrical connections and were able to fix the issue with a switch. They also did a minor repair of the glovebox for no charge!

I haven an old classic car and prefer to go to those owner/operators who have a passion for working on the old vehicles as well as the new. I followed Mario from his previous spot and will continue to work with him moving forward.

The crew there is always very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, not to mention the shop itself is always spotless. They are happy to explain, in as much detail as you request, what is happening with your vehicle, why it is happening, and how it will be fixed. I take my car here exclusively because of their top notch abilities and am always very happy with the work they do. Additionally Mario knows more about cars (especially BMWs!) than any other person I have ever met in my life. I cant recommend this shop enough and will continue to use them for all my vehicles.

I would give them zero stars if I could. This car had never had a single problem or issue until I took it to Mario’s. We took it here for a routine check to replace seals and valves on an older model Z4. Not a year later the check engine light comes on so we take it to Marios. Turns out the water pump needs to be replaced and another part that they supposedly fixed during the routine check. They wanted to charge for both until we reminded them that they already made that repair “oh yeah, that’s under warranty” but then suspiciously a different part was broken that wasn’t part of that warranty that needs to be replaced and the cost would be the same as the original quote. $1400 later we bring the car home and the next day it has a small coolant leak. We were traveling so we had to wait a few weeks to take it back to Mario. We take it in and Mario’s says it’s a completely different part and it will be another $400 to repair. We decided to try another shop and they tell us the water pump and this part needed to be replaced, the cost would be $1400. We mention that the water pump had already been fixed and they tell us that it isn’t a new water pump. We called Marios and they denied that they were the issue and refused to give us our money back. Surprisingly Mario couldn’t be reached to help us. Do not take your car here - this is not a trust worthy repair shop.

I trust Marioshop to work on my cars. This is saying a lot. I am a car guy. More specifically, I own several older BMWs. Mario is a car guy, too, and he has a special interest in and is quite knowledgeable about BMWs. I trust Mario to work on my cars for several reasons. He knows cars. From diagnosing engine or suspension problems to electrical or A/C issues, he is tops. He is concerned with what is best for his customers. He not only warranties his work, but he agonizes over the cost of parts for his customers. He did not like the price of a rebuilt A/C compressor for my M Roadster and called me about it. I think most shops just work up the estimate and tell the customer, This is what its going to cost. Mario tries to save his customers money but at the same time is not going to use a lower-quality aftermarket part that may not last. This is why I take my cars to him.

A good, honest, mechanic. Its like this: Mechanics can be cheap, good, and/or honest. A mechanic can be any two, but probably not all three. Marioshop is very good, and, very honest, at a fair, reasonable price. That works for me, my car, and SUV.

Excellent work done by honest mechanics who know what theyre doing. Marioshop installed an alternator for me that later failed prematurely. They determined it was bad, replaced it, and repaired some wire damage w/out charge. Would definitely recommend Marioshop to others needing auto repair

Best Experience at a AutoshopElmer took care of my car this morning just drove in from Houston yesterday and my car was riding a little funny because I hadnt had an oil change in 5k miles. After I got my car back my ride to work was better than its ever been. I was in and out in about 30 mins and didnt get a large bill for the service. I would highly recommend this shop

I just had the spark plugs replaced on my 2003 Lexus GS 430 and the service could not have been any better. They shuttled me back and forth to my home and finished the service on time. They were also happy to show me the old spark plugs upon request. Additionally, they took the initiative to find out why the check engine light was on and then reconnected a evaporation hose that had come off (no charge to me)!

Do not take your vehicle here! At least not for diagnostic work. I took my vehicle here to have it diagnosed after the guy at the front desk basically told me that they were the masters of all masters at diagnosing. I had replaced 2 parts on the car just in the last 2 months at a dealership and the problem wasnt fixed. So after the guy at the front desk assured me that they would know what was wrong I put my trust in them and payed the diag fee only to have them call me 2-3 days later and tell me that I needed to replace the same parts that I just had replaced. After explaining that I had just replaced those parts with brand new parts only 3 months before I was told that these parts werent any good and that the only way to fix the problem was to replace both parts with their own parts. As if their parts were going to be superior. They are the mechanic shop that your dad warned you about. They dont know what is wrong so they want to throw parts at the problem at your expense. Not only that when I explained it didnt make sense to replace something that was just replaced the guy got a bad attitude with me and wanted to know when I could pick up my car but not before paying the diag fee for a misdiagnoses. Way to go guys! Live around the corner from this place and will never be back!

After reviewing and requesting several quotes from different shops regarding my issue, I decided to leave my vehicle with Marioshop. The main criteria was the cost, as Im not planning on keeping the vehicle for long. Marioshop was the most inexpensive option.My vehicle was experiencing coolant leak issues. BMW had already diagnosed the problem (cannot speak for this shops skills in diagnosing) and the parts and labor were well documented. After having the coolant lines to the heater core replaced, I drove off spending approximately $775 before the diagnostic fee from BMW. Approximately 48 hours later, I had misfires at start up and driving the vehicle home became a struggle in addition to more issues this could cause in the long term. I parked the car, as I luckily have another vehicle to use, and dropped it off a week later... expressing my frustration that the issue had not been resolved to satisfactory condition.Elmer called and let me know the vehicle would need to be in the shop another day to diagnose the issue. They were able to fix the misfires and performed more work changing out the temperature sensor on the lower radiator hose, even though I expressly told him not to during the original quote. I usually expect to be contacted and agree to the work prior to further expenses incurred. Now... my car is ready to picked up.I pick up the vehicle, and Elmer informs me that there is another sensor coming up in the dash, and that I would need to bring the car back in to diagnose (incurring an $80 diagnostic fee). After telling him that the error had not existed prior to bringing into the shop, he quickly became defensive and said what you are asking for is for us to diagnose your car for free. After trying to calmly explain to him that any reputable shop would not charge a diagnostic fee for an error that occurs after work is done, he became even more defensive and repeated that my car is old and had a laundry list of problems prior to coming in.After my experience, I have dropped my rating to one star due to customer experience, reliability of work, and ability to recommend to family and friends. This stems mostly from my experience with Elmer, I am open to review with the owners of the shop. I would recommend to continue your search if you are looking for a good shop.

Once again, saved by Mario, family members car tire blew out on Interstate 35 and with out aaquestion Mario was here to the rescue..He is definitely the Superman of auto mechanics...if you dont have a mechanic and you go to Mario Shop...you will not need to look any further these guys are legit and awesomely there when you have car troubles. I would recommend any and everyone i know to use Mario Shop...it is not your ordinary walk in the door and walk out feeling ripped off...not at all. At Mario shop they properly diagnose problems and get to the bottom of it while trying to safeguard the expenses for the customer, by not jusy solving your cars problem but to maintain the life of your car as well. I would not go to any other shop. I literally drive from copperras cove just for an oil change AND ONLY LET THIS SHOP FIX MY VEHICLE. From the mechanics here like Seth who will make your car engine look new to the guy that can make a warranty be given on a part and make sure your getting durable parts Mr.Elmer gets stuff fixed like glue. I love this autoshop! Wouldnt try another but Mario Shop!
