Bob was our savior this week! Our AC went out in the whole house and temps were reaching 86 inside. I called a few companies and they werent going to be able to come out for another 4-5 days. I called Bob and he was at my door within an hour.He immediately knew the issue and was quick to get it fixed. He talked me through the process and showed me some maintenance methods to make sure the issue does not return. His prices were VERY reasonable and I will recommend him to anyone needed Heating or Air servicing.

We have used Bob (and his team) several teams over the past three years for a variety of jobs - annual maintenance, an AC repair, and an AC replacement. Each time the response is almost instant and the appointments are kept promptly.The latest time was the AC replacement/installation - Bob came out the day after I contacted him and was able to arrange the installation of the unit, improvements to the ductwork, and installation of a new thermostat THE NEXT DAY. Two days to get a complete AC replacement with upgrades. Incredible.Bob communicates clearly, has tons of knowledge, and has always exceeded our expectations. I had 50+ year old ducts that were falling down in both my crawl space and attic. Bob installed new ducts, plenums, and helped seal several problem areas. He was the best out of three quotes I received and performed extremely high quality work. Would recommend.

Bob was recommended to me by my neighbor. My A/C and Furnace were both over 20 years old. My A/C was shot. Bob went through all my options and left it up to me if I wanted to go ahead and replace my furnace at the same time. I went ahead and replaced my furnace and duct work. My ducts had been repaired half a dozen times in the last 25 years and they were still in horrendous shape. The difference with the new A/C and new ducts is amazing. I cant recommend Bobs Heating and Air enough. We had 4 companies give us an estimate and explain how they were going to fix our heating and cooling issues. We had an addition added to our home that stayed at 78 degrees in the summer with only 3 vents and wasnt insulated. Bob was the only one who figured out how to fix this problem and that room stays at 72 degrees now in the summer. When you call Bobs company you talk to Bob. Hes not only knowledgeable he is genuine and kind too. His prices were competitive and you get what you pay for. We couldnt be happier with our decision to use his company. Thank you Bob.

Like everyone else, I don’t enjoy spending money on what home owners call non-glamorous purchases. Heck, I don’t like spending money period. I do, however, believe in spending money for quality. Bob offers extremely fair pricing and is a straight shooter. He will take time to tell you exactly what the issue is and what needs to be done to fix it. Bob came out and quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue with a transparent price tag. No surprises. Bob even came back to assist with another question after he had already left. I will easily call Bob again and support local business and good quality work at a fair price long before I call the big box companies that charge you an arm and a leg to finance their advertising, etc.

Bob has installed 2 a/c units for us, and fixed another companys mess. He is always fair in his pricing and arrives when he promises. He is great at providing options, and balanced in his assessment of the situation. Hes our go to HVAC person for sure!

Bob responded to my heating issue within hours. He was diligent in finding the issue and followed up for several days to make sure that the fix held up. In the end, he only charged me a minimal amount. He provided no unnecessary repairs or parts, when I wouldnt have understood if they were required or not.

Bob installed our 4-ton AC and heating system in May of 2016 and the system worked great! You could hang meat in my basement it was so cold. In summer of 2018 the unit started leaking water from inside evaporator coil. Called Bob and they returned and determined it was condensation developing on inside evaporator coil housing. They applied a fix and all seemed ok. Late in the summer last year I popped into our utility room and noticed that the drip was back. Called Bob and he advised that the hot season was over and to call him in summer 2019. At that moment, I was feeling like Bob may not back his work since we were going onto almost 3 years of the system installation. The system still had the dripping water this summer and I called Bob and asked him to call in the manufacturer warranty on the evaporator coil as defective. Bob did this but shared that the warranty did not cover his labor and materials cost. Long story short... Bobs guys just finished installing a new evaporator coil under warranty and we discovered that the old coil was touching the external housing creating the condensation. in summary, Bob is the rare honest contractor who backs his product and work. I can guarantee that a larger contractor would have walked away from this nagging issue. I would recommend Bob to anyone looking for an honest local contractor.

Bob is the best in the business. My AC unit went out and so called a dozen HVAC companies and all of them were booked up and couldn’t make it out to my house for at least a couple of days; on top of that, the price for having them simply come out—not including the actual job, parts, labor, etc.—was absolutely ridiculous. When I got in touch with Bob, he was at my house in a couple of hours and fixed my unit in no time. He’s honest, has integrity and does the job efficiently and won’t overcharge. We struggled with our heating and air for many years and even had the president of our old HVAC company try to figure out why our house would not heat and cool properly.When we gave up and decided it needed replacing we had Bob come and looked at it . He immediately knew what was wrong and corrected the problem by installing a more powerful unit, with bigger filters, larger ducts, and adding more ducts in our house.The difference is remarkable, the house feels so much better AND our monthly bills have dropped.Were sure glad Bob had the knowledge to correct the design flaws when he installed unit. AC went out, so I called around and decided on Bob because of his demeanor during our phone call and my perception of his competence . It was the right decision. He came out when he said he would and quickly diagnosed the problem. Pricing was good and fair. He could have gouged me but didn’t. The work was great and fast. 5 stars.

I trusted the masses on Kudzu and gave this company a call. Bob answered the phone himself (no transfers or hold times). He said he could fit me into his schedule in just a couple hours. I asked him how much the trip charge would be and what that would buy me. He said that it would be $95 and that pays for the trip and first hour of labor. I agreed, but was afraid that this guy would drag his butt when he arrived to squeeze a second hour out of me. I can be such a cynic. Bob showed up on time. This is a big deal for a same day service call! He was very efficient with the time. Example- as he was installing the new thermostat base, he was also explaining the controls and programming, while I set the date and time. He wasnt pushy or reckless. He just made good use of our time. While here, he diagnosed the issues, installed two thermostats (one at my request), recharged one of my units with freon (R22), and washed out one of the units. Plus, he got it all done in about an hour. Naturally, the thermostats and freon were additional charges beyond the labor. But the charges were pretty reasonable. He didnt try to sell me redundant parts or put lots of pressure on me to buy a new system, despite its age. He gave me tips on improving the units operation and explained what the components do (as he worked). He came back later that same day, because the unit kept shutting down. The cause appeared to be a load controller installed by the power company. Time will tell. He didnt charge me anything for the return trip. Overall, I am very satisfied. If I have another issue, I will call him.

Other companies said I had to replace my basement HVAC. Called Bob for a second opinion. He was able to fix it for less than $250 and we are now up and running. If I eventually have to replace the system, Bob is who I’ll be calling. Great service and honest work.

If you are interested in the best no need to read further, just go with Bob. If you want to know why feel free to read.Initially we called Bob to repair our A/C during the summer of 2015. He came out within 1hr(during Atlanta afternoon rush hour) and the fix was CHEAP! While there, he made a few suggestions about our equipment and took a look at the furnace.Long story short, Feb. 2016, we called him out to replace furnace, A/C and the main trunk. One heck of a job! If you are trying to take short cuts, get cheap equipment that wont last, or flatten duct work to save ceiling height in your basement/attic etc., dont call Bob. He will ONLY do things the right way and is extremely knowledgeable about HVAC. I dealt with 3-4 other companies before I found him, wish we found him sooner!

I only heard about Bob by word of mouth and reviews like the ones you can read here. For the money, Bobs Heating and Air provided the best quality - both of the product and the service - of any HVAC provider Ive worked with. Ill be recommending him only from now on!
