We enjoy going to this gym. The pool is beautiful and the temperature is perfect. Classes are fun. All instructors seem to thoroughly enjoy their jobs. Being able to register on the app is very convenient. While my kids love Villa Kids, registration could use improvement. Which is why I only gave them 4 stars. Having to register 24 hours in advance with a 2 hour window is not ideal. I would like to drop my kids off as I please without having to register 24 hours in advance. I would also like the full 2 hours no matter what time I drop them off. This whole system is flawed and needs to be updated.Other than that we love it. The towel service is a bonus.
Pros:-Pool (when kids slides are open)-Cafe (when its open, the indoor one)-Kids swimming lessons are fantastic- Gym and equipment are well maintained-Some of the staff are very kind and helpful-Childcare is very good, great staff, my kids love itCons:- Pool attractions are often closed- Outdoor cafe is different than the indoor one, far less health focused options. Burgers, Dogs, etc.- Family locker room commonly has disgusting diaper pales that need frequent thorough cleaning- Generally the showers (Mens and Family locker rooms) have not been very clean in recent weeks visits-Seems like limited staffing has a big impact but we are paying full price now-Very rare to get a free visitor pass, which makes it expensive ($40) to bring in my kids Grandma to swim with her.-Giftcards given during first COVID closures could not be used to pay membership dues-Childcare is no longer drop in, and has to be scheduled at least a day in advance for a window of time, with limited availability
I absolutely loved this gym. I made sure to utilize everything they had to offer.Pros: Most classes are included in the membership, the gym has more to offer than the average gym including: sauna, steam room, indoor jacuzzi like pool (womens), cafe that serves food and alcohol, and the spa where I would often get my nails done, rental cabanas with service, adults only pool and jacuzzi, staff is always helpful and professional, non-judgmental area where most of the members are not a size 2 and you get to see peoples progression in their weight loss journey. Family oriented gym.Cons: staff is very young and seems inexperienced in certain areas, cost, women are nasty and leave dirty makeup wipes and used razor in steam rooms, showers are not super clean often left with clumps of hair, homeless people are allowed in the cafe and harass customers, weight area could be larger.Overall, if I was still in the area I would still be a member. I enjoyed the un-pretentious feel of the gym and that most of the people are senior citizens, working parents, or young teens that are just wanting to get in shape. If you want first dibs on classes like the outdoor spin class or the classes that fill up fast, check their IG or FB page, they usually post when classes are going to be offered so you know ahead of time.
This is a great gym. Has everything, great classes and equipment. Staff is kind and helpful. Swimming areas are fantastic. We have totally enjoyed our experiences here. This place has converted a couple of couch potatoes into more active and energetic 50 somethings.
Good gym...Im crazy about the Cycling theater!! Love the cardio and weight area too...but I do have to say they were mask police to the extreme you had the manager walking around and if you had your mask down for one second they would be on you like a hawk. Besides that its a good gym that just needs better management. The basketballs are really old and not good brands of balls this should be taken care of ASAP. I mean 24 hour fitness had better balls and $90 less a month. And I hope they get new management the current one is bringing this place down.
It was exciting to join as a family but then it all started with rude staff and horrible management.I was told by the general manager to no longer bring my kids there because i mentioned that staff didnt seem to be good dealing with kids. There is no rotation or good activities for a 2 years old kid. For the kids pool area the features are always closed so my kid cant even enjoy this area as well (they told me they open from 12-6 Saturdays and Sundays only) . For over $255 a month we expected a better professional services but it didnt meet our expectations. For 2 months it was so much stressful rather than relaxing or joy for my family.Cancelling my membership due to the poor attitude of staff and corporate i dealt with. bad experience. Careful if they know your name from the review and you have a bad opinion they will come after you and take legal action against you to remove it, reputation above members and their satisfaction. good luck!
VillaSport is actually a great gym. My favorite part was the spa (Sauna/Steam-room) that I used and abused once or twice a day. With that being said; I moved to Washington state and have been trying to cancel my membership since the end of July. I finally canceled today October 6th but I will be getting charged until November 5th. With that being said Ive been charged 5 payments of $120 totaling to $600 ever since Ive inquired to cancel. Not what I expected when signing up for one of the more expensive/high end gyms.THERE IS NO ONE WHO CAN HELP YOU IN THE GYM TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIPWhen I came in and told the staff I wanted to cancel they said only way is online. Cool! Got on my phone to cancel and apparently you can only cancel using a laptop/desktop......THERE IS NO ONE WHO CAN HELP OVER THE PHONE TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIPRegardless if I called the gym in Roseville, CA or Beaverton, OR I could not get through to concierge. To make it worse there voicemail was full. (Again not what I expected when signing up for one of the more expensive/high end gyms).Funny thing is when I called the extension to open a new membership they picked up on the first ring.....No matter how great the spa or equipment might be I will NOT be returning to VillaSport because the customer service is non existent
I paid for private swim lessons for my children when I first signed up. I was told to just call or go up front to schedule them. After i paid it was more than a month of me calling and going up front but no lesson. No one could get us an appointment for our 1st lesson. I finally got 1 lesson done, but the second one was canceled, without informing us. We were waiting in the poolside, only to be told we are not in the schedule. We finally got a 2nd lesson but again the time was moved without letting me know. Swim instructors are great, but scheduling is confusing. Needs improvement in coordinating schedules.
We started with them a couple of weeks ago and my family has already worn the floor out going in and out of this place. they love the pool. the sales staff were very nice and took their time showing us around on our first visit. I would highly recommend this place.
From the moment i entered the parking lot i was astounded by the size and modern aesthetic of this facility. The staff are extremely professional and healthy. The facilities are top notch with a lot of the latest equipment. The integration of the app for reservations is done well. All the pools are heated. They have both indoor and outdoor pools. The kids village area is managed well and uses a 24 hour prior registration period. This is a double edge sword. It creates additional confidence in getting children placed and creating a sense of follow through. However, it also removes the ability to spontaneously work out with kids in attendance. The space is larger enough that it is difficult to imagine it being crowded. It absolutely feels like a resort.
Went there for a tour. Have nothing negative to say, but neither super positive. One of the work outs that I do involves a heavy bag and members cannot use the room with the heavy bag, unless it is a class. Because of this, wont be joining the gym and will stay at Lifetime ;( Seemed a bit tight with the rules as well. I am sure will work out well for families.
I received multiple advertising mails. I wanted to check it out to give them a visit and use their complimentary 1 day pass. Guess what? After I had seen all the bad reviews regarding the membership and rude customer service ( who is Abigail by the way??), I decided not to. If this was my business, i would respond each one of the bad responses and try to resolve them. You cant buy a good reputation, you earn it.
Cameron the swim instructor is really amazing, easily the best weve had and the sole reason we are keeping our membership.
We signed up my mom to use pool and spa at villa sport. she had an allergic reaction to the water and we requested to cancel her account on the third day. going back and forth with employees and online which never worked. it wasnt easy at all to cancel her membership online. It seems this is some sort of SCAM to not let you cancel until you pass that designated day so they can charge you more. Eventually they cancelled her account but wouldn’t refund the two months charges. today after three months calling, we spoke to a manager for the first time and he said we dont give her money back. Please don’t call for refund anymore.
Today, my family planned to attend a free day at Villa Sport Gym to explore their environment. We received a complimentary free day and planned a day. We truly wanted to become their members. However, the front desk members didnt let us come in, saying that the pass was no longer a deal at their gym. We werent notified about it and left very disappointed.
Hopefully I can be heard here. You guys dont have a boxing bag customers can use? During my tour it was advertised that all the equipment is available for use. The staff restricts access to the room with boxing bag due to “covid concerns”. Every gym in the area has no restrictions about such equipment. Come on, $1080 a year and I cannot use the boxing bag once in a while, I am sure you can fix this in a heartbeat. Looking forward to see some changes.
They treated us very rudely from the time we came in. I came there as a guest and they told me I can use the facility. I was about to enter the looker room, when they dragged my husband and me out saying we cant use the facility. The Abigail and Randy are the rudest people there. I was planning to sign up because they dont charge outdoor pool fees, but I changed my mind as soon as they made me feel like I am a trash. The other reason I would never sign up there is that they make people wear their masks when they exercise. If I could, I would give them zero stars, one star is too much for them.
TV blaring in the sauna. Who the heck puts a TV in the sauna?I come to the sauna to relax and think about my life and how dumb liberals are.Instead I get blasted by noise.Awesome
I’ve had the worst experience in my life. People at the front desk are the rudest, especially Abigail. I love the place in general but I hate their customer service. I wish I never signed up and I wish I could give them 0 stars. I canceled my membership because of them and how they don’t know how to treat people properly!
Awesome place for the entire family. We love the pools and the gym. The entire family can use the facility.
Great swimming facility for kids but extremely poor front desk customer service,. The associates need better training on how to interact with customers. They blamed their computer system for not showing that we were paying members for a running 10 days. No response or apology even after writing to management.
New to the area, trying to find a new gym. Got a 1 day guest pass sent to my email. Went to use it 5/27 and Abigail would not honor it, saying that it expired, even though my email said my guest pass was good for 1 use and expires in one week (which would have been 6/1). I probably would have signed up for a membership that night, but because of this poor service (not entirely Abigail’s fault), I immediately signed up for lifetime.
I am beyond disappointed with this gym.... I have been a member almost a year and had to cancel my membership due to financial hardships in May.... I was told since it was early in May I would not be charged for the next month! Fast forward to July 2nd and I was charged for May and July!!! 188 dollars each time.... on the 2nd I contacted the club and was promised a refund... then called again on the 7th to find out no refund had been processed, and the woman in the phone argued with me for 20 minutes!!! Only to say I was right and she finally understood. At this point I once again was promised a refund. I called again on July 14th to follow up, and guess what?! No refund had been requested, and there were no notes on the account.... I then was transferred to the assistant director who told me I would only be getting g a small portion of the money back and she would look into what she could do and call me back. Guess what.... she never did, it took me calling her 3 to 4 days in a row to get a response. THIS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE..... I now am able to rejoin a gym but I will be checking out lifetime.... As an employee of the governors office of business I am disgusted in the treatment I have received.
Great Gym, management and billing are crooks....... I paused my membership and they still charged me for 3 months.... Dont believe anything they tell you when you sign up...
Great place to workout and have fun. I really like the amenities. Very clean and friendly staff.
I enjoy spending my time at the pool. You can expect this place to be clean all times. Staff is friendly also
Hello all, ill try and keep this as concise as possible so that you get the information you need without a bunch of complaining, but the way we were treated has left my family and I with a long list of grievances. We joined villa a year and a half ago, and all was well. Our first issues arrived during the early months of the pandemic. We went through the proper process to pause/freeze our account, and the Club still charged us for the months we were supposed to be paused... once we brought it to their attention, they took MONTHS to refund us.Our second grievance came when we tried to sign our second son up on our account. We turned in the paperwork and they turned around and lost it. We asked daily about the status and for some reason they couldnt seem to fix their issue. It took two to three weeks to get our son signed up. We basically did not have access to the club during that time because the staff would not admit him into child care even though we turned in our paper work and were members for months at this point.Thirdly, the child care staff were great, but poorly managed. They were ALWAYS understaffed, which meant our infant was always held while the staff member holding him had to be with the toddlers to make sure they had the correct ratio of staff to children. This led to an overtired exhausted infant because he wasnt getting the attention he needed.Fourthly, the club staff were hypervigilant with their mask policy. It did not matter if you were vaccinated or healthy, they simply would not allow you to be a responsible adult. If you took your mask off for a few minutes to catch your breath, they were on you like a hawk. Finally, the last straw came when we canceled our account. By this time, the above mentioned reasons had pushed us away. We ended our account in early June, and received an email confirmation of the 30 day cancelation process. We planned out our final week there, down to the final day of membership. Except the club had different plans. Without notifying my wife or I, either by phone or email, they canceled the account three days early and prorated the account. When we tried to sign in that morning, we were only notified then. We spoke with the manager working, and he informed us that sometimes they choose random people and cancel their accounts early......... im not sure how to tell you how disgusting of an answer that is. Some people?! We pleaded with him to find some work around, because we were standing there with our two young sons, packed and ready to go. The manager said there was nothing he could (would) do to fix it.All in all, the continual mismanagement of this club, combined with the horrible customer service we experienced on a wide array of issues, has completely pushed my family and I away from this club. I have told everyone I know of our terrible experience so they wont have to subject themselves to the same treatment. I hope you have found this review helpful, as it the first one Ive ever taken the time to complete.**** update ****This company has not prorated us for the days that they canceled us early. We are now considering civil litigation in order to force this terrible company to repay us.
Perfect for busy families who want to have access to a variety of fitness options.
I made the mistake of staying with this club through the pandemic. They charged me for my membership with the promise of opening the club up and a gift card for the dues I paid while the club was closed. They gave me the gift card, but never opened any of the things that I can spend it on.
I made a mistake of switching lifetime membership to Villasport facility. Unprofessional management &canceled babyswim classes w/o explains . Short workers in kids care. I canceled membership today.
The locker rooms r kept very cleanThe staff r very friendly and helpfulAnd a lot of things for the kids to doWhen parents r doing there work outThe membership is at a affordable price
Don’t expect your children to have ANY SAFETY at all in this facility, my four year old and five-year-old was cornered threatened by adult middle-age white man when my wife stepped away from the kids for a restroom break by the kids indoor pool with multiple witnesses seeing what happened VillaSport did absolutely nothing about it.The employees that work here did not care enough to even comfort us that this won’t happen again instead the guy at the front desk named Connor and his team only solution they had for us give us is a member cancellation form and this is me and two other families complaining about the incident at the front desk but Connor and VillaSport didn’t have the time to care about anyone’s kids. After complaining over and over and calling the cops we finally got upper management to help his name is Scott and he is supposed to get back to us about this incident well he never got back to us either.Once again your children who are not safe here if you don’t plan on standing by their side 24/7 specially for the amount you pay for a membership here is unacceptable for anyone’s kids to be treated like that.
My friend took a membership and by the rules he can take 2 guests with him. As they told us, you should wait first 7 days until you can use the guest pass, but one of their employers did an exception and registered me, took a photo and did paper work. When I was back in 30 minutes with my staff to enter, the general manager didn’t let me in. He was trying to tell that nobody can do excetions)), by the way, at the end, he offered his guest pass, which I didn’t take. He was trying to do a favior to me, but I have asked to do so for his staff and to make sure they all are on the same board.I hate, when people try to lie customers to get the membership from.will definilty not go there even after 7 days. Also the day before membership they told it is $25 for the guest entry, but after it became $35 )))
Awesome staff. Abigail, thank you very much .
Unprofessional and understaffed. Nice facility, but some of the people working here and the management are a big negative.
We tried to bring our two grand children for a one day free pass just to make sure our grand kids like the environment before signing up but the counter service guy was very rude, unprofessional and unwilling to welcome us. What a joke!. there are many places out there with more courtesy and professional. This Villa Sport does not like kids. Wishing them going down and out of business soon.
Great place plenty of parking they have great customer service as well
Worst ran gym in the entire Sacramento region. The cafeteria is a joke. Rarely open and staffed with one person when they are open. Try ordering a smoothie and see how long it takes to get it, then drink it through the worlds narrowest straw they give you for a thick smoothie. The entire facility lacks common sense.
Fantastic gym! Enjoyed every aspect of this place, very nice layout and extremely clean.
Looks incredible. Now I just have too stop by and see it in person.
There were problems with older boys picking on younger kids
My wife went there in winter with my daughter and villasport charge them 20 a person for the pool I am fine with that price but when they went in summer they raised the rates i was shocked and and disappointed in a business like that so be last time they go there and when people ask about this place let people know they have raise rates so stayed because she didnt want to Disappoint my kids
Im a member. They have wonderful facilities. I hope they are able to fully reopen soon.
Fun place to go with the family.
Not honoring promotional passes that were mailed out to prospective club members is not an acceptable practice. We were really considering this club but showing up with our pass and being told it is not being honored and hearing that multiple families were affected by this is not good business.
Overpriced for what you get these days - which is very little! Could barely get into a class as they fill up the minute reservations open. Very little access to what you are paying for! They also pack 30 people into a room for the scarce yoga classes. Massage manager wont call back when I want to schedule a massage with my massive amount of credits Ive accumulated by paying full fees through the pandemic. Im done - this was all handled very poorly.
This place is huge and clean but a bit pricey
Great place to work out. Very well kept. Courteous staff. I highly recommend
Along with Ultimate down the street they are taking the workout experience to the next level. Main thing we enjoy is sharing the experience together as a family. Anything we could want fitness wise is there and best of bread.Ultimate was a bit larger, but everything is cleaner and newer at VS. Doesnt hurt that it is closer for us.
Love this club! Top notch fitness instructors, trainers and staff. Everyone is super kind, welcoming and encouraging. It’s a stay-cation / day-cation kind of atmosphere. You can literally spend a lot of time here with all the classes and amenities. Love it! Fun and relaxing. Grateful it opened up in Roseville!
My husband and I have been talking about joining a gym for years and just never found one that impressed us that much for the money. VillaSport changed our mind and after a tour of the amazing club and all the amenities we joined on the spot. It is an amazing place to not only workout and stay in shape, but a wonderful place to take our grandsons to swim and play. Our daughter and son-in-law joined too so its a fun family place for all of us. You can tell that the staff loves their jobs by the excellent treatment we received from everyone we met.
State of the art facility. Friendly staff! Great classes!
They wont answer their phone. We got a free pass, thinking of bringing grandkids here, but they wont honor free pass.
If you need masks when you running or walking at the treadmills . Close your gym, clowns
Today a nice gentleman named Greg gave me a walk through. He was very kind and not pushy at all. The Club seemed really nice and it was very clean. I thought I would check out the reviews. As far as the negative reviews, I think people could be a little bit nicer and just move on if this gym isnt for you. Personally, I think its a very nice gym and I havent joined yet, but I am seriously thinking about joining and if it works out great and if it doesnt then I will move on and NOT give bad reviews. Enjoy!
Awesome club with tons of equipment and space. Dumbbells go up to 150lbs, functional turf area, over 100 group classes, plenty of machines and equipment. I havent heard any complaints of waiting for equipment either! Awesome staff and first class treatment. Its a luxury resort feel for sure. Plenty of kids activities, water slides, adult only section, and multiple activities a month that engage the entire club. Definitely worth a visit
It is a great overall place. I really liked doing my fitness check with Wendy and taking the classes with all the staff! Good way to be motivated! I liked the spa but thought it was a little too pricey for the quality overall experience. The weights dropping above make it not as relaxing as it could be. The membership uses very pricey but if you go often and utilize everything from sauna, hot tub, pool, events and gym it seems to be worth it. I was able to go as often so I had to cancel.
Cool place
Club is great, had an issue with my account in July that did cause a little frustration on my end. The GM, Scott, reached out to me directly to apologize and made sure the issues with my account were dealt with. Would recommend Villa to any one in the area.
Love this place! So glad I made the switch and came here. Great environment, friendly staff, responsive management, and excellent instructors. Love the Les Mills classes and the virtual reality cycle classes. Like the fact that this is a family owned business and not owned by a large corporation. Members actually have a voice here. Management values our suggestions and will implement change based on our feedback. The gym floor has state-of-the-art equipment and is never overcrowded. Love the pool area and lounge area as well. Thank you VillaSport, so glad you opened a facility in Roseville.
Really enjoying this gym so far. Great classes and work out equipment. Villa kids staff so far have been totally great with my boy and girl. He is only three and sometimes gets a bit upset at being dropped off there while I work out. However when I get him at the end of My session he always says he has a good time in there. Awesome to have this child minding facility while us adults do what we need to do.
Thank you for staying open, the best fitness ever
The best gym ever! I love the classes, the variety of activities, and the friendly people who work there and make me always feel welcome. The best part is the locker rooms and whirlpool/sauna rooms, that always feel luxurious and allow me to relax after a workout.
I love Villa sport!! The employees are always so nice and professional, the facility is top notch and I’m so happy that they have 18 and over sections for the pool and lounge areas. Also, Villa sport has helped me get through my postpartum depression and helped me feel more confident about myself.
Place is awesome. My family and I joined a week ago and it’s been great. Everyone is so nice. They are still working out the kinks of being a new location but overall it’s awesome.
It’s my third day there and I love the gym. I would say it’s 40 percent gym and 60 percent recreational activities. Great for kids. Only complaint I have so far is the cafe. It took 22 min to get a simple breakfast sandwich. I normally wouldn’t complain, but me having to rush to work because it took to long is a problem. Also wish they would have more food items like lifetime does. I hope they improve over time.
Facility is great and new! There are classes later in the afternoon which is great if your off work late. The pools are awesome and have great amenities for kids as well
Villa Sport looks like a five star facility because they quickly take down negative reviews. I posted a negative review very recently and it has mysteriously disappeared. This place is extremely judgmental and discriminates against children with special needs. The manager, Scott, actually said to me that they were trying to maintain a “certain type of clientele.” We were forced to cancel our membership. This is not a nice place.
Really nice gym, not busy at all. Staff are super friendly. Well worth the money, plus it’s a convenient location for us.
Amazing Service and Friendly Staff Plus its an Extremely Well Kept and Clean Club!
Amazing club, super clean. Amazing for kids. They first opened, so of course there will be a few kinks to workout as with any grand opening of this size. Overall, club is worth the money.
I absolutely love this gym! I am so glad they opened one of these in Roseville. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They truly serve all there guests with so much care. If you are interested in signing your kids up for swim lessons, ask for Kayla G. She is the best, loves her students and does an incredible job!
For $119/month I expected better. They shut down all their drinking fountains including their touchless fountains to refill your water bottle. And when I left after 7pm their locker still had not been cleaned since 445pm.The chlorine in the pool left a pretty serious rash on me as well. There are cheaper more impressive gyms that are doing more in regards to COVID in the immediate area. I recommend elsewhere. In fact there are gyms for $20/month that do better cleaning wise and teach the same Les Milles classes. Actually Les Milles classes are available online for the same price of Netflix. You dont need a fancy trainer to teach them. Yikes yikes yikes.I appreciate the GM calling and following up and taking ownership but I wouldnt go back there. No thank you.
Weight training area is quite small and lacks a lot of standard equipment for proper weight training. We brought this to the attention of the General manager, Scott, by email and received no reply. He doesnt seem to give a sh*t. Thats pretty much the sentiment we received from most of the staff. My wife was harassed several days in a row for wearing a bra top. Given, this was a fitness top and my wife is a professional in the fitness industry. Shes extremely fit and very low body fat. This seems to be the type of person thatd like to weed out from their FAMILY GYM. Thats a term we heard 50 times in a week while we were there. Were not sure what it means other than discrimination against very fit people who appreciate the YEARS of hard work they put into their bodies. Probably something their management doesnt understand seeing as many of them were overweight and new to the fitness industry. So, in short, if youre looking for a $200/month planet fitness, Villa is your spot! If youre looking for a real gym that actually treats you like family, Lifetime Fitness or Golds in Citrus is the place to be.After 3 days of being harassed, we canceled our membership and went to Lifetime. We could not be happier. Great gym with great people! We were told my management that they simply dont care if the gym is at half occupancy because of their ridiculous rules. Good luck, Villa. Lifetime will eat your lunch!
It is one nice sports club. Food and drinks served at the pool or hot tub. Great steam room and sauna.
Friendly staff! The kids program has been wonderful, our 8 month old baby is all smiles when we drop her off and pick her up after working out. As for the gym atmosphere, it’s been very inviting, and I look forward to spending a lot of time there with my family.
So far I really like it. The classes are fun and give me a good workout. Our daughter loves VillaKids, the bucket indoor pool and the outdoor pool games. We also eat dinner there after our workouts couple of days a week and the food is okay. The snacks are overpriced, so stick with the food they make. And members get a free fit plan assessment where they scan your body and tell you your body fat percentage. You get to do this once a month to track progress at no additional cost.
So happy we joined Villa Sport! Plenty of space for everyone and the pools are fabulous. Paul is our fitness trainer. He is extremely knowledgeable, inspiring and supportive. 😀
Awesome. My Best experience ever.
Thank you guys for service!
I love this gym, everybody is friendly and encouraging.Love the atmosphere, the equipment, the classes and after a hard workout you can relax at the lounge area!!!! thank you Villasport Roseville
This is the best gym in the Roseville area (I toured them all). It is so new and modern with a ton of luxurious amenities. Really good variety of classes an equipment, they even have family work-out classes like barre, Les Trip cycling, & yoga classes so you can work-out with your older kids if you want to. The kids club also gets rave reviews from my daughter. But the best part is the 4 pools, 2 waterslides, & poolside cafe and bar. My family has been going several times a week, which never happened at our previous gyms.
Very nice place
First of all this is a beautiful gym. And honestly a really great deal for a family, all things considered. My only complaint is the complete disregard for customer service. I have had major issues, since I initially signed up, I have sent emails, and made several phone calls that are rarely returned. Recently I enrolled my sons in private swim lessons, they had a member special for $198 for 8, 30 min lessons. I paid and they immediately took my money and when I look online I received 4, 30 min lessons! I called and of course no one will take my call. They definitely need to up there game if they are going to survive in Roseville.
Very nice new country club in Roseville area next to the Galleria mall. Only complaint is the membership cost of $119.00 a month. Great place in the summer for swimming
I gave this gym a try for a week. I have teenage kids. I occassionally take classes but my main reason for going to a gym is to lift weights which is what everyone should be doing at least 3 days a week to maintain muscle as you age. This gym is not worth the price. What exactly are all these moms going to do here if they dont lift weights?. Take classes every week for months on end? Once the pool closes for 6 months out of the year $200 a month is pretty steep just to take some classes. The problem is the lack of equipment unless you are fine with being skinny fat and using the cardio equipment. They have an insane amount compared to the weight machines. The gym is beautiful because its new. So what? If I have to wait to get a bench then I might as well go to Cal fit and pay half the price where they have double the amount of machines.
My wife and I love this gym. Having been members of the “other” gym chain for years this is a very nice surprise and we love it!
Amazing
This place looked amazing at first but a month in I have cancelled do to unprofessional treatment directly my the female manager up front. I was confronted about using my cell phone in the exercise area as well as for using profanity in a situation that could have been helped with proper business practice by the staff. In this case the workout staff handled it well however when it escalated the acting manager completely failed at being professional. I have cancelled my membership along with the people I brought over.
I went there today as a guest to check it out and see how it compares to other gyms Ive gone to and honestly it has a lot of good qualities but its not for me. The pool and sauna areas are pretty cool but I find it lacking in the gym/workout part of it. Too expensive for what you get. Ill go elsewhere thank you.
THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. A FRIEND OF MINE WAS WEARING A SPORTS BRA AND SHE WAS ASKED TO LEAVE. SHE COMES IN THERE DRESSED LIKE THAT AND SHE LEAVES THE GY,M DRESSED THAT WAY FOR 4 DAYS. THE 5TH DAY 3 EMPLOYEES CONFRONTED HER AND TOLD HER SHE WAS DRESSED INAPPROPRIATELY. IT TOOK 3 WOMEN TO ADDRESS THIS WHICH CAUSED A SCENE.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. EVERY GYM IVE BEEN A MEMBER OF NEVER HAS AN ISSUE WITH SPORTS BRA. IF MEN CAN WEAR TANK TOPS WHY CANT WOMEN WEAR SPORTS BRA. SOUNDS LIKE DOUBLE STANDARDS TO ME. ALSO WEIGHTS AND EQUIPMENT ARE LIMITED. LIFETIME FITNESS HANDS DOWN IS A MUCH BETTER GYM. I WILL BE GOING BACK TO LIFETIME AND WONT BE GOING BACK.
I don’t understand the negative reviews I read. I have been apart of this club for 5 years. Beaverton OR and now Roseville. If you are looking for an upscale, 5 star health club experience with a variety of amenities, this is the place! The Yoga studio is absolutely stunning! Les Mills The Trip is a super fun and interactive indoor cycle experience. The Pool, hot tub, sauna steam room is gorgeous and so relaxing! Can’t wait to explore the weight and cardio room more and try some more classes!
I cant believe people are giving 2 and 3 stars for the entire club as a whole based on a sandwich that was late or other petty things. Are you kidding me? get a life.
Membership department was completely unprofessional with no customer service skills. My family and I were actually looking forward to a new full opportunity gym to compete with Lifetime but this experience was terrible right out the gate.
Love this place ! Friendly staff and great trainers ! Everything you want !
Very rude when during COVID asking if they had weight machines outdoors and cost of membership she told me to go to website and slammed phone down...not very professional behavior if you ask me especially in this time of need and everyone trying to work together...I wouldnt join their gym if they paid me to join rudeness is just uncalled for !!!!!!
Yeah the steam rooms are open.
Very good
Looking at the negative reviews I think that LifeTime felt financial impact from their very strong competitors VillaSport. Maybe these people who left reviews got upset with their life or looking for attention. Three people in a row discussing sport bras? Common. Honestly, I believe that VillaSport is a LifeTime plus much more. It is perfect for individual training, for families with kids, for chilling outside by the pool, swimming, group exercising, eating, drinking, spa and much more. Amazing kids room with plenty of activities. You can leave kids there starting 4 weeks old. Kids have fun with variety of activities or simply enjoy playing in pool. This sport club have wide variety of classes. I can’t say enough about their outdoor area. Worth every penny in comparison to overpriced LifeTime which can afford but don’t see necessity anymore.
