Cool staff neat gym and equipment

Absolutely Love this gym . Silk was awesome in explaining everything about the gym . Very professional and took all safety measures and precautions. Great atmosphere. Great vibes .

No one in there had their mask on properly. They had it below their nose, when it should be covering your NOSE & MOUTH. Even some of the the STAFF had it below there Nose. They need to have someone walk around and make sure people have their mask on properly. I would like to feel SAFE when Im doing my work out.

I love my trainer Amanda. It can get pretty busy sometimes which makes it hard to get on some machines but they provide multiples of each which helps with the machine jam

Clean, friendly environment.. My first time at this location. Other than a old man creeping out my cousin and I out in the hot tub. It was a pretty good experience.

Notice a lot of people w/o mask. Ive been fully vaccinated but they never ask. How do they take safety precautions?

Terrible experience with this location! At first when they signed me up, I was told I had guest privileges which later I found out was not true (by being embarrassed in front of my guest). Also my lock was broken from my locker, and all my stuff removed, and I was told I can buy another one. The lady is very rude, and I will be canceling my membership

Linda and Darnell are always busy cleaning, vacuuming, and dusting. The cleanliness of this gym is a big reason why I joined this gym in particular. Theyre amazing and work well together. Thay are also very polite to the gym goers.

LA Fitness is a nice place.It didnt workout for me. I had one workout within 2 months. It cost me $180.00$90.00 sign up fee $50.00 membership $29.00 monthly fee. Expensive

My wife&my favorite spot, theres alot more to do@the right LA Fitness, its like bringing the out door fitness, swimming, spin classes, basketball&more inside, aswell as fitness trainers we love our LA Fitness.

Friendly staff, super clean place for a very affordable price. Clean towels, clean locker rooms, state of the art equipment.

I have had a membership since 2016 and recently this gym has become disgusting in the last few months. There is trash everywhere and it’ll be there for days and days. Little pieces of paper towel all over the place and the bathroom are gross. You’d think for a membership that cost $36 a month, it’d be a littler cleaner but no.

First day back since it opened, Im a swimmer I was not happy about how the pool is managed, both end lanes ended up with 3 people in each, people talking over you from lane to lane as your swimming between them, how safe is that! Im there to swim/workout not socialize. Thats why I go!However everyone in the gym area was wearing a mask, you grab a bottle of sanitizer and take it with you as you go, I seen people spraying and wiping equipment down.Locker room every 6 doors are not in service keeps your distance, there, shower area is open as well.

I hate this place. I cant wait to my membership is up!!

I have been coming to this particular LA fitness for 2 years now. What I like about this location is that they have a sauna, a Jacuzzi and a pool along with all the other equipment.

Good valued gym. The staff have communicated to the members through the Covid crisis and have made necessary adjustments to keep everyone safe and healthy.

You can always count on a good number of members and staff not wearing masks or wearing them under their nose. Unfortunately when you bring this issue up to the staff they do nothing and look at you like youre the bad guy.

If you think you may ever need customer service, stay away from LA Fitness. You can upgrade your account or add members online with no problem. If you want to cancel, they require you to send the cancellation in the snail mail. My wife and I followed their procedures and we were still charged. They finally got mine canceled (after numerous emails) but offered no help in canceling my wifes account. They finally suggested that she call our local gym in Roseville Michigan. As soon as she mentioned the word cancellation she was hung up on three times. I called back and very politely spoke to John about the fact that my wife was having trouble canceling her account. He then hung up on me as well. Once this pandemic is over I will find another gym.

Clean but a bit pricey. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Have a friend that has been s membership there so I inquired. The gym is rather large with pool and sauna with additional rooms with specialty equipments and weights. Will need to wait though since its not open yet. Y is same story I think. I may ask for guess pass in the meantime. Nice front desk attendant.

Solid place to work out. I only use the work out area. The gym is not jam packed like other facilities. The equipment is in good condition. Staff seem happy and the patrons seem to respect each other. The swimming pool and jacuzzi seems to be open when I am here. Locker rooms are fine. I don’t shower so not sure how clean/dirty it is. Check it out yourself before you make a decision. And yes, check out memberships online, make sure you find the best deals and read the fine print for annual charges etc.

This LA fitness location is one of the better ones in the area. They have plenty of workout machines throughout the building so even in January when the New Years Resolution crowd comes in, there will still be enough room for everyone. My membership was through my insurance (Blue Cross) and was paying $29/month for years, then suddenly I come in and LA tells me they no longer accept that type of membership anymore and wanted to talk about new memberships like it was my first time coming in. So, there’s your reason for only 3 stars. Sloppy customer service.

By far my favorite LA Fitness. Super friendly staff and members, always clean, and a great workout environment. They have everything you could want in a gym and they make it very easy to get started. Be sure to go in club to sign up because they usually have better deals.

Beautiful atmosphere and definitely will keep my membership

This place has steadily declined over the years since they opened. I regularly went here for 3 years before I switched to somewhere else.At least half of their treadmills are extremely noisy when running or the belt skips when increasing speed while running(which I feel like I might stumble and die).Weight equipment can go weeks without being repaired and there were always drain flies / gnats in the showers.

Everything is clean, spaced out to be socially distanced, and the staff are always friendly!

Great gym, always clean and orderly. I love there is a juice bar on site gives the full service feel. Cannot beat the free group classes offered. Staff always helpful and attentive.

I do enjoy working out at this LA Fitness due to the amount of different exercise machines they offer, however it does sometimes get very packed and you might have to wait to use some of the equipment. The initiation fee, annual fee, and monthly fee do tend to add up and make it quite expensive, but other than that very nice gym.

Six stair climbers and two work, neither has a working TV. Someone is always on them. Most TVs do not work on the treadmills. It has been like this for months and months. Why dont they ever maintain their equipment and make sure that everything is working?

The gym itself is nice. It is clean and you can do a lot their. However, the price is steep if you dont use it regularly. I just was not using it enough to justify paying $40ish a month. If you use it regularly or plan too this place is cool.

NEED. A. BETTER. HOUSE. KEEPING. STAFF.The mens locker room is RARELY stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and definitely not the cleanest locker room over all! Each gym member needs to pick up after themselves and be courteous to other members, but the house keepers also need to do a much better job. At the minimum keep everything stocked, PLEASE. Maybe the L.A. Fitness staff should hire a better house keeping crew and actually supervise the alleged work that is being done. Maybe create a checklist for the house keepers and then do an hourly check for deficiencies. I complained to the L.A. Fitness staff member at the front entrance, but she claimed they do have a new house keeping staff and its gotten better. I was like OH REALLY?! I would have not liked to see how it was before I became a member! I mean, this has been a constant issue since a have been a member 3 weeks ago, and I come to workout 3 to 4 times a week. Holy cow!However, I really like L.A. Fitness, the awesome, friendly, welcoming staff, membership cost, amenities and everything else about it, just definitely NOT the lockerroom, seriously! Come join, but beware of the mens locker room!!!

I just joined last Saturday! I love the different equipment! I liked the fitness assessment with Justin. He gave me some ideas on what routines I can do. I love the different machines there. Very clean environment!

I really like this club. I have been to a few other LA clubs in the area and I feel like this one is the best. Its a good size so you rarely cant access the equipment and they have a huge cardio area so getting on any of them is never a problem. I have been a member for a couple of years now and after trying Planet Fitness (blahhh you get what you pay for) & Snap Fitness (nice but small) I wont go back. The price is reasonable and the staff is always friendly even the other members are usually really friendly and not creepy. This club and the others I have been to really have a good atmosphere and it seems like they try to make their members comfortable.Ive taken several classes I love Dawn the Monday night body works instructor and all of the yoga instructors though varied in their techniques are just as good as studio instructors you just have to find one that fits what you are looking for in your practice.

For the most part this is a clean facility. I use the pool quite often and the spa. Its really nice to come here and enjoy a clean pool and spa. Love the spa...its sooo warm! This location is checked as one of my favorites on the LA Fitness app. Havent used my free the personal trainer session yet. Will update review when I do.

I signed up with Anthony last week, I was very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism. He went through each payment and found the best plan for me and my family. I would recommend this gym to anyone the staff is amazing and friendly!

I like this LA Fitness. However, They Need To Keep Up With The Cleaning!!!The Front Doors For Example, They Are Always Filthy!! That is the first thing I see when entering. Please keep them wiped down.The locker room is OK, nothing to write home about. I give it a 2 out 5. Their are never any toilet seat covers. The Showers and floor always have gobs of hair.I never see anyone wiping the equipment down. They should have spray bottles of cleaner more available.It would be nice if they provided towels and Filtered Cold Water.AND AN ICE MAKER!!!!!CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, AND CLEAN AGAIN!! Hire employees that take pride in their housekeeping profession.

Very nice gym, nice equipment. Ive been here as a guest a few times, only thing I dont like that the person has to come and get a the guest. I just feel like they should not have to come all the way to the desk if they can see them in the gym so thats my only gripe.

Your price is a good as you are able to negotiate. The initiation fee is for suckers. It turns out that most people get their initiation fee waived if you are a tough sale. If you are passive and dont complain they just leave it on. I negotiated half price initiation fee and felt proud until I discover that most people pay no initiation fee.

AWSOME!!! I did 1 1/2 hours today feel great. But on the other hand not many patrons wipe down their machines. So I wipe first and after. That part I would give 3 stars.

Wondering about joining? Check the place out on a guest pass but JOIN ONLINE!! Joining in person gets you a chunky enrollment fee - online reduces or eliminates it! As seems to be the case with reviews from most others, cleanliness is an issue. The same 2-foot diameter puddle on the shower floor for a week, the pool edging appears soiled, mildew on the shower curtains....and closing early on weekends is annoying, thats when a lot of us really want to go

Went for my first time to use the pool for exercise its easier on my joints. I wanted to use the hot tub but it was shut down for cleaning. I will have to try again now that I know when they clean it

I am a Planet Fitness member and was encouraged by my boyfriend to try the gym. I will be making the switch!

Excellent facility, trainers and classes. Just wish there werent so many extended maintenance events for aquatics, locker rooms, etc. And they dont notify you about them even in the app. They notify for cancelled classes and power outages but nothing about the pool being closed 4 days. This week we were all shoveling snow and sore and wanted to soak but not an option with it all closed. Very disappointing!

Water aerobic the Trainer and coach Sharon S in East point on Moross. This lady is awesome. Work are muscles and keep it fun, interesting. No boredom here..

Great equipment and friendly help. For the price its a very good value. It lacks some of the more high end features that come with higher prices, but its a good trade off in my opinion.

I have had a membership for a while, what i will say is there was a huge problem with women being naked in the sauna... thankfully that seems to be fixed. There is a problem with the bathrooms being dirty sometimes, but my biggest complaint is their hours and how busy they get mid-late afternoon. If you want to go to the gym as soon as they open, you have a good chance of getting on everything you want, you go anytime past 10am there is a huge influx of bros who hog benches and weights and you FOR SURE will not be able to get on a squat rack to save your life. Thats out of the gyms control though. Just a warning for anyone who wants to go to this location, make sure you time not only your workouts according to how busy they get, but the time in which you carve out of your day to go.

If you sign up for a membership you will want to watch your monthly credit card bill as they automatically take out your dues. I experienced double-dipping fees and hidden charges not foretold on the contract you sign up with them. BE CAREFUL!!!

Nice gym but the hours are very short. They close very early on weekends especially and are strict about you leaving at that exact time. Also, different employees tell you different things. For example, my sister was told that classes are not included with her membership but after I signed up (with the exact same membership), they told me classes are included with all memberships. I was not told hardly anything about the gym or its use upon signing the membership nor was I given a copy of the contract or receipt for the bill I paid. Decent gym but they need more organization and for employees to be on the same page.

Beware of your bank account if you join this gym. It’s very hard core sales oriented. I was lied to repeatedly by the salesman and since I joined 2 months ago a total of $150 I did not authorize and was not aware of in various “fees” has been withdrawn from my account. I have been told conflicting information from various staff members trying to sell me on things. The free session with a trainer you get when you join is also just a sales pitch for $200+ per month training sessions so skip it if you don’t plan to do that. The facility and equipment is very nice, the place is always clean, and I never have had to wait for a treadmill. The music is terrible but earbuds solve that. I still regret leaving the small private gym I used to belong to.

Was told i should put my credit card info down to secure a price while i was thinking about joining, i asked repeatedly if i would be charged and they said NO. Well Come Friday they charge my account $190 without asking me. This is fraud and should not be tolerated please be careful that this does not happen to you.

The water to wash your hands is always hot. Like burning hot. They never fix it at every la fitnessIm canceling my membership becaue of it. Sad because everyone complains about it

My girl went up here after we both applied for guest passes online to try it out because we thought we’d like the idea of being able to swim and Zumba. Little did we know that the rep would sign her up for a whole membership. She was told that they needed a card on file and that she had to come back at the end of the guest pass trial to cancel. Which she did. Next thing you know she was charge 40 bucks and when she went up there to dispute this and tell what happened the manager, Julie, basically called her a liar and kept mentioning she signed something. When she kept telling her that the guy told her everything he was doing was for a guest pass. It wasn’t until she called a corporate number...and having to raise some fuss.... that they processed a refund. STAY AWAY. NOT WORTH IT. Not to mention the guy that signed up her had the audacity to joke about planet fitness secretly charging people. The heck!

Staff does not walk the building to question their clientele on why they aren’t wearing face masks or not wearing properly. Additionally, clientele is not carrying paper towels and disinfectant spray. It’s irritating. If you are in a position to manage then lead.

I work out often and LA Fitness has been my go to place to get in shape for over twenty years now. I enjoy running so when I dont run out side there is always an LA Fitness thats close and convenient for me. I have competed in the Detroit Free Press Marathon for several years and the gym is essential for my training. When I decided to get really serious at the ned of July and come in everyday I did so until October and lost 20 lbs in addition to getting in hreat shape and completing the Half Marathon in my best time ever.

The facility is clean, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Good price point and good selection of equipment. My only qualm is that it is always so crowded at peak hours that it can be difficult to get a good workout in. Generally if I go between 5-8 pm on weekdays I will spend a decent amount of time waiting for a bench near the free weights or waiting to use certain machines. This may be seasonal as I have only been a member for a bit over a month.

The staff and manager are absolutely awesome. They allowed me to come in on a Saturday morning and use one of their stationary bike for my Army PT test. I was very impressed with both the size and cleanliness of this facility.

Love the space, great place to workout and meet people. Enough machines to go around. Never have to wait for machines. It has everything you want for your healthy living.

Great place. However, I just want to say thank you to whomever put their trash in my coat pocket yesterday. You can bet I will not be hanging it on the coat rack in the Ladies locker room anymore. Disgusting! There are trash cans throughout the gym, USE THEM!
