Excellent equipment with a good variety to use. Dylan Williams is manager in charge of the personal trainers and does train a few clients. I am fortunate to have him as a trainer. Of all the trainers I have had, he is the best.

I love everything about it! Such a great place to work out and re-center. Its clean, the classes are wonderful and the staff is always helpful and friendly.

Dylan (trainer) is amazing! I highly recommend him for anyone that is considering a trainer and ready to make an honest commitment to a healthier you. I truly cant say or thank him enough. Dylan has a true passion for helping others regardless of skill level. His knowledge and patience is amazing. During my training sessions the exercises are shown, theory for each and encouragement every step of the way. Every week we revamp a workout, building on prior ones. Dylan is also helping me with my food journaling and giving simple recommendations. We are adjusting calories and exercises to make sure of a healthy weight loss regimen. I look forward to my workouts and pleased with the results on the scale, in measurements and overall feeling better.

Ive been a member now for a couple of months. I love this club. There are clubs closer to me but I chose it for the racquetball. Ive really enjoyed the exercise classes, especially the Zumba classes. All the instructors are really nice and very encouraging. Ive never had trouble finding available equipment. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I do wish there was a way to see if there are other members who would like to play racquetball but dont have a partner. I used to play years ago so Im just getting back into it. Ive been practicing by myself getting my skills back up to par so it would be nice to find someone at the same skill level to play against. Maybe a signup sheet or bulletin or note board. Just a suggestion or maybe there is something like that I dont know about?

Many times Ive called there the people who answer the phones are rude. Im not a confrontational person, but the man who answered the phone today was totally rude. Without much explanation and cutting me off when Im trying to find out what was going on with my freeze, daycare and what Im paying for. I just cant anymore this this facility. Never had good experience with the roseville one off of foothills. Rocklin is so much better, just further for me.

The people there are really nice the equipment and everything is really good and well kept however the membership program could of been better when COVID-19 started I cancelled my membership when it started and when they reopened the gym again later in a few months they said I never cancelled my membership therefore getting charged another month it’s okay but was quite annoying

To start the administrative staff are untruthful and or very under trained, with deceptive business practices it seems. Watch your auto charges. After talking to multiple staff members about a charge for a program the was canceled before time limit nothing was done. One said it was wrong and would be fixed, one said the charge was refunded already.... and so on very frustrating!!!!! Never was refunded... Got charged during covid with 0% usage. Did not want to work out outside with the virus, heat, and smoke. Account was frozen till end of the year waiting for covid to end. Still we were auto charged after being told no charges would go through until end of the year....

This has been my gym for a couple of years. I appreciate the cleanliness, and the customer service! Also, they have made every effort to stay open in 2020!

I was harassed and discriminated by the employees. I was accused of stealing because of what I look like. (I have medical conditions). I was forced a strip search in the middle of gym, in front members. Is this even legal? Someone contact me ASAP.

Nice staff, very clean and well maintained. easy to find the equipment you need and has a private hot tub in the womens locker room, so you dont have to use the outside one, along with a dry sauna.

I was a member at Lifetime for over a year. That gym was nothing short of constant pressure to upgrade and buy buy buy. I left Lifetime and joined CalFit and never looked back. After 3 years, I still LOVE IT. Best gym EVER.

This review is one based on membership: be aware that theyre strict when it comes to the $300 cancellation fee.I had a situation in which I had a life change and literally NEVER was able to use the gym membership I purchased, and am being charged VERY high fees to cancel.I feel very frustrated because I visited the gym and simply asked if I could buy a weeks guest membership. I was directed to the membership team who gave me a BIG sell. They talked me into signing up for a membership that would start in a couple months in exchange for a weeks pass. I was told that if I had a life change or a move that there would be reduced fees and the way the membership member spoke, it sounded like they would be minimal. That still turns out to be $100 with proof of a move, which is much much more than and weeks pass should ever cost. To add insult to injury, not only have I never been able to use the membership and am being charged $100 to cancel it, when I asked if I could at least have a couple passes in exchange for my $100 the membership team was unwilling to accommodate that request.I do think its a nice gym and I would have liked to have been able to go when visiting family in town. However, I feel I was totally lied to and taken advantage of by the membership team and their unwillingness to waive fees or even compensate me with some guest passes leaves an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I most certainly wont be giving them any more of my dollars.PS Update: Despite the response below I was never contacted and there was no resolution offered.

My family has been members at Cal Fit for 5 years now. We really like the Kids Club staff at the Roseville location. They know our kids names and greet them warmly each time they arrive. Often, my kids are disappointed when I pick them up because they want to stay longer. I enjoy the range of equipment to use.

Its the most amazing gym! Helpful and friendly staff, amazing equipment & classes. As well as wonderful hours!

Clean great equipment. Great classes and instructors. But the people who go there are SO unfriendly. I havent met one person who will smile and say hello besides the staff and instructors.

I want to make sure that those that are trusting of people and companies in general are well informed. Let me tell you what happened with my experience at Cal Fit and you can judge for yourself whether you want to be a member in their institution.First, after I signed up, I was called, emailed and even text messaged, several times a week to sign up for additional services. I requested they stop contacting me, they did not. I had to mark their emails as spam and put a block on all their phone numbers to stop the calls and text messages.We signed up for swim lessons for our son. Four, during the summer of 2018 if I am remembering correctly. We were told they were at a certain time and given a schedule. We did not realize that the final class was an hour earlier than the previous three classes and did not show up on time. We asked if there was anyway it could be rescheduled. The person at the front desk told us they would have a manager call us. We never received a call.Be SURE to read the entire contract. In fine print, they indicate they are going to charge you $50 extra every year for a Club Enhancement Fee. While this was my fault for not noticing, I would never have thought to look for this in the contract which does not include it in the initial price or communicated at sign up. I will accept responsibility, but I want to make sure others read everything.Further, when you try to cancel, it was pointed out that the contract is worded as such, I understand that on my Anniversary Date, as set forth above, my membership will automatically be converted to a month-to-month membership at the rate(s) in effect on my Anniversary Date. When this occurs, I may cancel the membership at anytime by providing a written notice and making one final monthly payment to: California Family Fitness, P.O. Box 2350, Orangevale, CA 95662. Again, its the one final payment to Cal Fit I did not quite catch. I am no longer a member but I have to pay for the month of July/August anyway. This oddly feels like a processing/start-up fee which they supposedly waived because of a promotion...Just know that, when you sign up for this agreement, all these fees and charges are there. Its sad that companies bury this in fine print. Ive now spent $184.99 on items I wasnt expecting. I will never consider being a part of their institution ever again.

My whole family really enjoy coming here. The group fitness classes are awesome and thw child care staff and activities are always amazing.

The equipment is always clean and updated. Most staff are friendly especially the people from childcare and James. Lately the Foothills branch has a new manager and she is not friendly at all. She just rubs people the wrong way. My wife came in with our child today and she questioned if our child was in the account. This embarrassed my wife since the manager could have just looked in the account to find out. Not to mention my wife goes multiple times a week with our child. I wish the friendliness came back. We still love this gym and so does our son but a smile and eye contact goes a long way.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. I love the early hours so that I am able to get my workout in before heading to work.

I have been coming to the gym for a while now and I love this gym, plus the staff is awesome.

We love and value our membership with Cal Fit. The Roseville gym is our regular tri-weekly gym to attend, but we also attend classes in Rocklin and have made good friends there. We know we’re heading into our senior years in much fitness level due to our regular visits. Use it or lose it!

Staff is excellent. Clients are respectful. Very clean. Although steam room would be nice.

Nothing had to say about this location, staff are extremely nice and always helpful and daycare is amazing. My daughter loves the daycare at this location specifically because they always take good care of her so I can enjoy my workout .

Terrific staff and variety of equipment and facilities are unmatched by other clubs.

Member for over a decade. Staff are nice but patrons wear too much fragrance which makes it tough for folks with allergies. Opens at 4:30 am and not crowded at that time.

There is plenty of equipment so I am rarely waiting around for something to open up. I can easily come in, knock out my workout, and be on with my day.

Nice and clean - employees seem to be eager to assist with questions on machines and/or classes. I wish they had another pool. During the summer its too crowded to get any good swim in unless you are in a class.

If Im here on a Friday night, you KNOW its awesome! Workouts seriously addicting, awesome trainers, always mixing it up!

Great place! This place has it all. I was lucky and got the family signed up for the anniversary special! Got my first month free, only paid $16 for fees and a low monthly of under $100 for the family of 4... like I said this was a special that ended, had to share! Advised me of as student special when my daughter starts college in the spring. The machines are kept clean, very friendly helpful staff. This place had all your fitness needs...

Great facility and staff. Missing a few machines I like and some a little older compared to newest equipment. Spacious. Great kids area and staff. Priced a bit high.

Lied to me about benefits of membership. Then the process to quit is just horrendous. The facilities were not kept up and cleaned. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We have been members for more than four years and Ive never seen this gym at its worst since the last couple of months. The equipments were never put away. For some unknown reason they will e-mail you with all the JUNK e-mails and other unworthy e-mails that just clog your inbox but they will not offer the customer the courtesy of notifying them when there is something wrong with the credit card on file. I pay my membership on autopay. The bank re-issue the card before the expiration and forgot to update my account. Caltfit charge a late fee instead of at least notifying the customer and give them the chance to correct the error. My vote will be for this year is the WORST gym in Sacramento.

I have been a member of Calfit for a couple of years and have had a great gym experience. The facility is up to date and clean, and I cant say enough about the staff. Recently, I had a situation where I was unhappy and I went to the Operations Manager, Luke Anderson. He was interested in what I had to say and personally resolved my issue. Thank you, Calfit. You make staying in shape a fun experience.

My teenage daughter went into the Roseville location and was completely taken advantage of! It was a bunch of used car salesman basically and conned her into signing up for a gym membership and took cash from her for the sign up .when she came home i called and expressed my disappointment to the manager of the gym for taking advantage of a child. The manager said that they couldnt give me the cash back but they would refund back onto her card. Its been a month and a half and we still havent seen a refund! I spoke to another manager today and was completely blown off and basically was told I dont know what to tell you, you should probably take it up with corporate ..so California family fitness totally took advantage of my teenage daughter and took the only money that she had and is refusing to give it back! I am very well known in the community and I will make it my mission to tell everyone I know not to do business with this company! !!

The womens only work out/locker room has now been opened to men because some FAKE lawsuite! Stating MEN dont think its fair that they dont have their own room. Well give them thier own room and keep them out of ours! I DO NOT enjoy working out having my butt checked out! Women lets stand up for ourselves!
