I can’t express how happy we are to have chosen Canterbury Downs as our first home in CA. Nick and Ed made the process so easy and painless. Which says A LOT. We moved from FL and completed everything over the phone and online. They were so patient with me through alllllll of my questions and always took the next call with enthusiasm. They have been just as friendly in person now that we are here and settled in.The community is well kept and quiet with friendly neighbors. We are a 10 minute drive of everything! Shopping, dining, entertainment, everything we could possibly need is super close by.Its not super luxurious, but our unit was recently renovated and is very nice with everything we need to start our lives in CA in comfort. Definitely recommend!

Man I cant believe this place only has a 3 star rating! THE BEST experience here. Manager was super friendly, we have a dog named Francis (we stayed there in 2015-2016) and she tore up the floor once a little, they werent mad or rude they were super nice and the fix was very affordable! Great customer service. Great place to live. In FACT Im going to be moving out this November! And guess whos coming right back to Canterbury downs!!😃

Did not have a good living experience here. Had roaches everywhere,black widow infestation, and even a rat that got into our outdoor closet. Not worth the issues to be honest. Only good thing good Ed casiilas in the office and the maintenance guys.

In my opinion Management and maintenance guys are friendly and very professional. The neighborhood is quiet and decent. So far we are satisfied....

This is the worst apartments Ive EVER lived in, I have roaches in my house and theres rats that Rome around the apartment nick is extremely rude and he is racist against my family I will most definitely be talking to some hire about his behavior. But on the other side ed is super nice and understanding and dosnt judge people, nick on the other hand is the worst and needs to be fired. Overall this was the worst place to live. And there grounds keepers are rude they talk about you when they pass and all they do is Rome around in this little cart all day doing nothing and they steal from your house Ive had several things come up missing even my food . please get another staff beside ed because its literally ridiculous how these apartments are ran by those people

As much as I would love to give this place a better rating, unfortunately theres a lot of flaws that need to be worked on.Since moving in in September, several problems have arisen including things falling apart or not working in the apartment properly. Maintenance had cheaply put things together and didnt do a very thorough job to ensure things are in proper order.Secondly, the walls are paper thin. Im hearing constant stomping around from the neighbors upstairs (granted, theres like 15 people up there) and Im sure most of them arent legal tenants. I hear people literally peeing in the toilet, taking showers, vacuuming, etc... (very annoying.)Other than that, the staff are awesome; especially Ed who is very accommodating and friendly. Maintenance requests are also handled at lightning speed. I suppose my biggest annoyance is the noise I hear everyday, all day from my neighbors- but other than that, its a pretty decent place to live.
