I am lucky to be where I am today. I remember going into the mission with NOTHING. Now that I’m clean 6 months I have totally changed my life around and I am constantly donating clothes to the Rome mission because now I have enough to wanna help out those people who were in my position. I am a donor of the rescue mission and know Matt and Lisa. Will do what little I can to support this mission. They are good people.

Three free hot meals every day, except only two on Sundays. Rome is blessed to have such caring and wonderful people. Absolute no one in Rome can claim to be hungry or strapped for paying their food bills. I can live fat and happy in Rome and not spend one dime on food.

I give these people a lot of credit and patience dealing with the people who come in there.

This is a good place to go if youre short on food they serve breakfast lunch and dinner there Monday through Friday

Absolutely the greatest rescue mission Ive ever been to! Very family and friend oriented. I felt, and still feel so comfortable and welcomed here. The environment is clean and the volunteer/staff always make sure your taken care of. They make breakfast, lunch and dinner and its better than Id ever expect it to be. Thank you so much to all the R.Missions employees, escpecially Lisa, for giving me the opportunity and chance needed to change my life! Im on the right track because of you all having my back! Now Im becoming the member to society I always knew I was meant to be. Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help!

They help you out with food clothes

I have volunteered at the mission there are good people there like Joanne n Joe, everyone needs a helping sometimes. You never no when or how.. But its good to there are ppl who care and can help..

They found my Misty a good home. Or at least they told me they did. Hope shes doing well; I miss her... :-(

It was nice and clean

For a family oriented place with volunteers who are able to help in any way they can, its a great place to eat when youre down on your luck or going through a rough patch in your life. Get to know the people and volunteers who care in the city of Rome, NY

Went to hire someone for day labor and for $15.00 an hour no one would work. Went to get a cup of coffee and I was questioned by an employee.This goes to show you about the welfare system and how some folks would rather collect a check rather than work.
