This is the worst service provided in the United States…. Had other services in the Midwest and never in 20years had the amount of service failures Fidelity has had in 3months. Multiple service interruptions daily, sometimes for hours…. Find someone else for service. If this is the only service offered were you live, move…. I am listening house tomorrow…. I am out…. Hope Fidelity goes broke…

Our tv looses Chanel’s and we have to call and ask them to re add what we pay for. The internet is horrible and very slow. Don’t worry they will tell you it’s your equipment (even though it new) and if you are foolish to have them use their equipment you better be sitting down. I was told my would group about $20 a month. Not true it doubled! So that brings me to today… I have been with out internet all morning and have been holding for 45 minutes plus.

Terrible customer service, terrible speed!You will experience super slow internet occasionally. And there is no one to answer your phone calls to the “technical support” extension.Its been three days that I could barely open a regular web page! And I am calling their support. Each time I was on hold for an hour and no one is answering!I even went to their office and they said we only do billing services here!!!Don’t waste your time and money on this!

Been a customer since 2015. You mostly get the speed you pay for. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Their automated payment calling in robot is a pain in the ear. 4/5. I have never had to make a service request.

When I lived in rolla my family and I really enjoyed fidelity services. We have moved and our location doesnt have fidelity as an option. I want to put a request in for them to consider serving my area I just dont know where to do that.

Customer service is rude and unprofessional, We have the highest internet package they offer but I dont know why because our service is always out and when its not we are constantly resetting the router. We have a lived in the same home for 20 years, and they have been our provider the whole time. We have a home phone that we havent used in over 10 years, so about 4 years ago we asked fidelity to remove it so our bill could be cheaper and they said we would have to do a new 2 year contract so we still have the line, if there were another choice we would switch.and we were

The network will disconnect anytime, I paid the fastest speed, but it will still disconnect twice one day. Call the service support but never get response, really bad service.

The modem/router they provide is not a really good WiFi router. The internet keeps disconnecting whenever I use the WiFi from the Fidelitys provided device. I would appreciate if they would use Motorola Modems and provide an external wifi router.I hope they switch to fiber in the future. They have a ton of IPv6 space and they dont provide that to the customers. I wish they did provide BGP sessions to residential users as well.

I would give a 5 star as Ive had very little to no trouble with Fidelitys services in the close to 5 years Ive been using them at 2 separate locations Ive lived. However, I find myself only giving 4 as I cant really agree with the idea that the longer I have the services the more I have to pay per month. When I first signed up, for internet only, I did so under a sales package understanding that I would pay very little per month and the price would go up every few months until a years time when I would be paying the actual full price for the services.However, Ive been using them for 5 years now and I notice my bill for the same service tends to increase, what seems like, every 6 months. But its small increases like a few dollars. I guess they think I wouldnt notice?I can afford the bill and personally they are the only company I have never really had issues with, but I personally think the longer a customer is loyal to your company they should get a small discount. Not have to pay more the longer they keep you. If my bill continues to increase, I will have no choice but to go through someone else.

I’m very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I’ve been a good paying customer for 3 years. Every year my bill has increased. This time I didn’t realize I hadn’t paid it and they shut down my internet and rightfully so. I didn’t pay my bill. So I paid current and paid ahead. That was several days ago and I still have no internet. I called their “customer service” and was told I’d have to call their billing department during the hours of 8-5. I explained to the person that is almost impossible to do because of my job and it’s position. I haven’t had a lunch break in 3 years and don’t have the opportunity to take care of personal items during the day. I further explained and she confirmed my payment was made but I still have to contact the billing department. I will be canceling my services immediately. Customer service is clearly not a priority to them.

I’ve been planning on changing providers due to increasing rates while advertising rates lower than what they are charging. Now when I call to pay over the phone (which I’ve been doing for over five years) they refuse to take my payment because of some new policy and their lobby is still closed so you can’t even pay in person. This will be my last month with fidelity, customer beware.

Fidelity is a monopoly for the region which primarily focuses on enticing students to their lower rate plans and dominate the service for Rolla. However, my experience with them (and stories from numerous others) has been poor and I often deal with outages and low connectivity which does not enable me to use their service. I had to upgrade my cellular plan to unlimited data because the wifi was so weak. Additionally, the promo rate is only good as long as you do not miss a payment and then your rate will increase to $74/month. Late fees are $10 and they do not communicate service termination etc. It is unfortunate to have a low-grade provider control the service as the only option for Rolla. Hopefully they will be overtaken by a competitor in both rates and service soon.

I have the most expensive plan but still experience regular complete service drops. The internet goes out for several hours at a time. When gaming, my buddies in Rolla and I will occasionally spike to 100+ ping, so my teammate in Texas has better latency to Chicago.If there was a better option in town, I would switch immediately.

Awful ISP. Other than the fact that their plans are overpriced for what they give, it gets better with the fact that both download and upload rate regularly crashes. Unplugging and restarting the modem usually fixes it, but it gets frustrating when I have to wait three more minutes to get my internet back, especially when I depend on my upload rate for streaming.AVOID IF POSSIBLE.

My bill went up by 8.66$ in August when I have the student discount and was told in July during a phone call that it wouldnt raise until September and I could renew the student discount by August 27th.Edit: Bad response from fidelity. I already knew about rates. When I originally started service with them I was told I could renew my student discount after a year by calling in. I did just that and was told again I could renew it, but that they couldnt do it just then. I had to call in August instead, I was told, because the bill would only go up in September they said. When I questioned why it went up in August by 8.66$, they said my promotion was running out and it would fully phase out in SeptemberBad experience

We have used Fidelity services for a year now for TV, internet, and phone. Having moved from the outskirts of the county (where no cable service was/is available) I have to say the we are totally happy with the services we receive as well as the price. We paid three times as much in the county for one third the service! By the way, our interactions with both office and service technicians has also been friendly, courteous, and resulted in good, efficient outcomes. No complaints here.

AVOID FIDELITY AS MUCH AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE!!! I cannot stress this enough: this business should be your second to last option (they are at least better than CenturyLink.) I would at least give this business a 2 star rating if I at least got consistent internet, even if it was slow. No matter the weather, our internet stops working for around a few mins almost every other hour of the day. The time it stops running is random, so I will bein the middle of an online game, and I will be kicked out due to poor connection. Ive dealt with this for almost a year, but it seems to be getting worse. They came here once to fix the problem, but a few days later it was the same old awful internet that we pay almost 60 bucks for. I do regular internet tests and I get under 1 mbps half of the time. We live just outside the city limits (not even a mile), so this is unacceptable.

I personally have not had a major issue with Fidelity. As with renting properties, most people do not read/understand the agreements that they are signing. Is this the fault of the company? Usually not, the people complaining about price increases after the first year need to understand that they agreed to these terms and this is not some new practice in these industries. Speeds have been great in my area (downtown area) and 1.5 year of experience.

Always had spotty internet. The new modem they installed with built in WIFI keeps our printer from connecting to our computers due to MAC filtering (which is set to allow all). Worked just fine before.

Most of the employees dont even seem to know what theyre doing and there is consistent confusions and issues. Consistently getting only about 1/2 of the bandwidth I pay for and was told by a technician that its because theyve split my neighborhoods node too many times, there was nothing he could do and that I shouldnt tell Fidelity because hell get in trouble. I have either been an account holder or an authorized person for an account holder with Fidelity Communications for close to 20 years. I pride myself on being a level-headed, friendly person, especially with those who often take the brunt of frustrated customers...but this company always makes me lose my cool. It is by far one of the most unprofessional, obtuse, deceptive, and unnecessarily difficult companies I have ever dealt with. While the tech support agents are always friendly and helpful, the people in sales are rude, intransigent, unhelpful and I really want to use the B word. Despite being an authorized agent to call on parents behalf, they ALWAYS act as if that was never set up in the first place and demand to speak to octogenarian parents. The PINs, passwords, and authorized names on account provided for this purpose does no good. Further, when we applied for the Lifeline program, they wanted to increase the charges on the bill to use up all the benefit, thereby making it useless to my parents. That fraudulent practice was promptly reported to the FCC. Now when applying for the EBB, after multiple transfers, callbacks, queues, etc I get another song and dance whereby they claim the qualifying person in the household actually has to have an account with them. This federal program is incredibly clear in that anyone in the household can qualify...it doesnt state the account holder has to qualify. So now that 85 year old parent has to go set up a new account in order to jump through the hoops that Fidelity Communications has put in place, in very clear violation of the procedures set forth by the EBB program. Just utter BS.

Have been a customer for 3+ years. Currently have 125Mbps internet, which is no longer offered for $104.95 a month. Yet, a new customer can get 100Mbps for $69.99 or the new 1 Gig for $79.99. As a loyal customer whom was never contacted or told he was paying too much the best deal they can give me is $89.99 for 100Mbps or $99.99 for 1 Gig. Sorry but you have lost my business. Can’t even inform someone when they are paying too much or the fact you could upgrade them and charge them extra for being a loyal customer. Poorly executed business in my opinion. Also, told customer service I was going to cancel, fidelity could care less if they have your business. Exactly how I felt when dealing with them.

I thought it was great that Fidelity had an online form to request new service. I filled out the form but after 24 hours I had not heard from them. I called their office and they had no idea what I was talking about. I gave them my information again and was told someone would be out a several days later on a Friday and that they would call when they were on the way to my house. Very thoughtful. I didnt have to miss work and wait around for a large window of time. But I missed the call and the technician did not leave a message. If he had, I would have listened to it immediately and met them at my house within 5 minutes. I dont work far away. I even called the number back but it went to a generic voicemail and I had no idea who had called or for what purpose. When I called Fidelity they said they would have to reschedule the following week. I was disappointed. For the 2nd time I feel like they failed me as a new customer. Then after receiving my second bill I realized they were billing me for double what I signed up for. I went into the office and asked them about it and they claim there was no promotion at the time I signed up. So. Beware. Other than that, Ive had good service, the technicians that did show up were friendly and thorough.

I have had pretty good service with Fidelity for years. Im primarily an internet subscriber that occasionally adds cable tv every so often, so I cannot comment about their telephone service. However, the internet service that is provided seems very current with the standards in the US, if not above the standard. Also, I recently noticed that Fidelity now offers 1 gigabyte (1000mbps) internet speed.

Not entirely sure why theres so many bad reviews because I have always had wonderful service from Fidelity and my internet (even during harsh storms) has only gown down once for about 15 minutes, to be perfectly honest they should not even put a Mb number on it since it never slows down (which I download a tonnnn of things and binge YouTube for hours).My friends and family have everything from HughesNet, AT&T, to whatever else and everytime they come to my apartment they ask who I have my internet through.

The wi-fi is constantly going down, sometimes for hours at a time. You can try to call the help line, but half the time they wont be able to detect anything is wrong. The Promotion of 34.99 is ok, but my modem is constantly cutting out. It also doesnt send out a very strong signal i cant get it some rooms and I dont have a very big house. I dealt with all this because the price was low. After a year of the 35$ a month they jack the price to 65$ not worth it. And customer service is horrible and not helpful. I told them 65$ is more than I paid with another company 55$. I asked them is there anything they could do to bring down the price a little. Of coarse they said no and so I told them I was going to cancel service and they were just like OK just bring your equipment to the office. What???? They really dont care about keeping customers or making them happy at all. I have never dealt with a company that tries so little to keep their customers. Pathetic !!!!!

They pulled my credit score 2 times when I applied just for internet. One on the day I applied through phone, the other 2 days later. Hurt my credit score for a long time even though I do nothing wrong. So be careful with your personal info. They continued sending bill for more than 1 month after I terminate the service. Internet consistently goes down throughout the day ranging from 10 minutes to hours. Overpriced Monopoly in Rolla. Charter in St.Louis offers 120mb/s vs Fidelity’s 50mb/s for the exact same price. Just ridiculous and they know we have to pay since this is all the town has.

They wont go to the trailer park down the road from them because its out of City limits but the building is closer to them than allot of places they provide service for..

Extremely disappointed with my internet connection. I pay $40/month for 50 Mbps and I just clocked in at 0.23 Mbps (about 0.5% the rate I pay for). I cant think of a single instance where getting 0.5% of what you pay for is even remotely acceptable. Only reason we ever chose Fidelity in the first place was because it was the only affordable and viable option in our area. Would switch ISPs in a heartbeat if given a better option.

Been a customer for 2+ years. Frequent outages in the evening, sometimes lasting up to an hour or more. When I moved apartments and needed their cable guys to come out and hook my modem up, had to first deal with the crazy four-hour time range that I need to be free from 1-5 on a weekday. Then, when I finally was free to wait all four hours for them to show up, they didnt; when I called to ask what happened, apparently they tried calling my phone and left a note on my door when they couldnt get in my apartment. A quick look at my phone and my front door proved this to be a massive lie.If its possible to go to any other cable company, do it. Fidelity is terrible. The customer service girls are at least friendly, in my experience.

Fidelity Charged us for not returning our DVR and receiver boxes when we dropped the cable package from our subscription. They claim we never returned them even though they sent out one their techs to switch out our modem and return the DVR. They then said they would fix it and billed us again for the same amount after they said they would fix it. They have poor management of accounts or poor internal communication.0/10. Cant even bounce on my Boys D to this.

Some of the employees that Ive talked to were rude. Im a college student, & have a discount because of that. One month, my internet went up to regular price, and when I went in to talk to them about it, they said it was because I had failed to renew my internet at the year mark. I asked if I was supposed to receive an email or letter to notify me of that. They then told me that it was my responsibility to remember to come in (after an entire year), and that they didnt have time to send out notifications. Also, I asked if they could work with me and since I was paying double that month, if it could roll over and put the amount toward the next month since I was still a student, using their internet for college courses. The employee was very rude with her explanation- we appreciate the college student discount, but that doesnt give someone the right to be hateful if the customer makes the mistake.Even though it was my responsibility and my mistake, the woman I talked to was rude and condescending. Because of this experience, I prefer to pay online, avoiding the employees altogether. POOR customer service!

Roommate had his own internet seperate to my own and whenever he moved out they came and shut off his internet. In the process they also shut my internet off by mistake and it took them 3 days to come back to my house and turn it back on. Not only did they charge me for the service of sending a trchnician but they also charged me the fee for reconnecting my internet. When I asked for my money back because it was their mistake I was basically told to deal with it.

I dont know why so many people are hating on Fidelity. Ive looked around at other internet providers, and they have the fastest, cheapest internet in Rolla. And whenever I have problems with, their customer service has always been reasonable and helpful.The only problem Ive had in 2 years is that they didnt notify me that my student discount stopped applying after 12 months. But one I went back in and showed my current student ID, they credited the extra charges to the next month.

I had a credit card hacked & had to change autopay.I did so before the scheduled date but still had to make a direct payment because, I was told, Its too late for the corrected card number to be used to make this months payment. So I authorized that direct payment. Then today I received a Notice of Suspension. I called the number on that letter and was put on a wait list for a call back. After an hour Id not received that call so called my local office. They checked and found the direct payment had been recorded, the autopay corrected and my account was fine. I was told the notice of suspension and record of payment must have crossed in the mail. But the payment was made on the phone. Not a happy situation -- pretty sloppy billing management IMHO.
