The people that work there are very nice. They are respectful and if you need something they are always right there when you need them.

Update... Certain workers treat you different and not its not the nice kind. One guy gets annoyed when you ask for help on machines even word is asking what machine is good workout in a specific area for your body. Ever since that experience early on this week Ive been uncomfortable.

Its a great place to workout if you arent too familiar with the gym. The machines are very easy to use and have instructions on each machine. They also have friendly staff. The gym goers seem to be very aware of not staring and keep to themselves. A great gym for anyone who wants to get in and get out. They also offer the gym memberships that allows you to bring a friend for free!

Ive been going to this gym for many years, and until recently, I enjoyed my time here. In the past year, the gym lost many capable, hard-working people such as Josh, a wonderful trainer. The gym gets really crowded after 4:00PM. Its an inexpensive gym, and as such, it attracts low-income people, mostly Latino, who by and large, sadly, prove uneducated, and show a lack manners. They mostly come in packs, talk loudly, then sit on machines, just checking their phones for the longest time. There is no enforcement of the mandatory mask requirement, and despite the signs posted, many ignorant, selfish people choose not to wear a mask in this gym. The staff limits its duties to refilling disinfectant bottles. Upon being informed that a car was left with the lights on in the parking lot, the staff shrugged, and said theres no PA system to let the owner know their battery is getting drained. The apathy of - most of - the current staff, and the uneducated, insolent patrons that proliferate in this environment, make me dread my visits here.

Jessica was very helpful with me. I am traveling and didnt know how to work the massage chairs and tanning. I really appreciated her professional attitude and friendly demeanor.

I just want a place I can go just to do a workout and unwind now. Very affordable in my price range. Staff is friendly and they know what they are doing and willing to go the lengths to help you get a good workout.

I been coming to PF for 3years now and I wouldnt go anywhere else. The staff is great knowledgeable of all machines and most of all cleanliness throughout !!

My go to for affordable health/fitness

The showers werent hot, so I had to put my clothes back on, and go to the front desk. The staff was able to correct the problem. Im a black card member. I was a bit disappointed about the signs posted to clean out the shower when finished. I have been vaccinated, but I have some health issues. And quite frankly, it seems like a job better suited for a staff member. Seems like they have plenty of staff there, but not many people.. Just thought I would let you know.

Friendly staff, clean equipments, usually not crowded. The restrooms are pretty nice. They have great massage chairs.

Went in there first time to join, my son too..I cannot give it 5 stars since I have not used it. I looked around seem clean big place mice womens and men locker room..outdoor pool. Jacuzzi. Sauna and steam like all those amenities..I wo Gunther set. When I move to rohnert park

This planet fitness staff is much better than the Petaluma one. I moved to San Rafael recently and get to work out at the Petaluma gym which is also amazing, best price you can get period, not to mention the free tanning and the massage chairs after work feel amazingAamazing!

Good balance of cardio & strength machines. Generally like the layout compared to other PF locations. Staff is extraordinary though, super friendly and attentive to cleanliness which is so appreciated during the pandemic. Glad to see them reopened with the right safety precautions.

Not 24/7; electric issues caused gym to close mid workout- then closing mid afternoon with only a sign on the door.

The price cant be beat, staff is helpful, equipment well maintained, and great atmosphere.

Being far from athletic, I never thought Id miss going to the gym. This is due in large part to the wonderful staff at this Planet Fitness branch. Josh, the trainer, was the first person to show me around the facility when I joined a few years ago. He is the most upbeat person Ive ever seen, and an inspiration. Jessica, the manager, is hard working, kind, and efficient. Andrew, and the other front desk staff, are all welcoming, and lovely. I am very sad that this terrible pandemic forced this gym to close, but I am looking forward to visiting it when it re-opens.

Very nice looking and clean gym. Staff is friendly and helpful. Crowded on the weights during the evenings (expect that anywhere), but the cardio stuff is always available. Massage chairs are great after an intense session. People here actually wipe down the equipment after they use it 😳👍

Having lived all around the bay area i tend to visitwich ever gym is closest to my last client visit of the day and there proximity to said office! Ill also include different states im in when im traveling if the hotel gym doesnt cut it. So with the exception of the San Francisco location, 90% of all Planet fitness gyms pretty poorly managed and seem to have a staff that wishes that they werent there and its quite sad because that staff energy is contagious and you can feel it from the moment you walk in the door have your 1st imteraction with the staff! So Kudos to San Francisco and Rohnert Park locations being exceptional establishments that you can the staff actually takes pride in workimg there! RP and SF are also the ONLY TWO locations that have consistently spectacularly clean locker rooms and overall facilities! Beware of other locatoins, they are disgusting and if you get the chamce to meet the managers at those subpar gyms, it explains it all they all tend to be in sync with having a miserable not giving a f#%$ about anything type of attitude. KEEP DOING WHAT YOURE DOING ROHNERT PARK! MANAGMENT DESERVES RECOGNITION FOR DOING A STELLAR JOB AND TRAMSLATING THAT UNTO THEIR HIRED STAFF!

It Cost $22. @ Month And a $40. One-Time Administration Fee for an Entire Year to Join. You Can Work Out, Get A Massage, Take A Shower With Your Stuff Tucked Away In a locker, ( You Supply The Lock). They Remodeled Both the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms About 6 Months ago. The Place Is Pretty Clean. They Have Personal Trainers That Are Knowledgable About Health. Quite Near The City Center as Well. Lots of Other Businesses Close By as Well.

Have gone in on several occasions and no hot water. After letting run for 15min this morning without it warming I got dressed and went and ask if there was a problem. They had the hot water turned OFF! This is not the first time. There is no reason for them to turn off the hot water. I know they close sunday night but this was on a Tuesday.

Small not usually to busy, has plenty of equipment and cleaning bottles with paper towels to clean them. There are two member ship cost the regular one, and a premium one allowing you to take one guest, and use the message chairs (though there is a year long contract) you get charge one yearly fee and and a monthly fee of around 20 dollars for the premium, I dont remember the regular chairs. if you get the premium the message chairs are good, but the hydro message chairs are better (in my opening). I recommend booking them when you get there so you can plan how long you work out and so they dont get taken.

For the price, cant beat it. There are a lot of lagers who hold up using equipment. Seems as texting is more important than working out. Staff is great! Love to see a hot tub and sauna!

I can work out all day and dip everything from spa day to a work out frenzy. Absolutely enjoy their playlist. Gotta try out their red light therapy!

A decent gym. Cant beat the price, and the hydromassage is great. I you use tanning beds, that alone is worth a black card. But....there are no free weights, other than dumbbells.

I really like this gym. Im a 20 year gym rat, and this place is clean, well equipped, well maintained, and well staffed. At between $10-$20 per month, its a steal! I just wish I could get there more often!

Planet fitness is a very clean, professionallyran gym. People seem to be enjoying themselves while working out. Not to busy. Staff is friendly, helpful and smiling. For only $10 a month its a fantastic deal. Easy access on and off freeway.

Ive never been to a gym so I signed up for orientation class tonight. Arrived 6 minutes early and told to wait. I waited for 22 minutes and no one appeared for my class. Very disappointed because I was all up to see how this works. May cancel my membership as the front person kept saying hes around here..he wont forget you. HmmmmIve never used any machines and needed to learn how to use them. Im 66 years old and finally was eager to improve myself. Hope I get a response from PF. If not then they arent concerned 😒

Very good and clean

Its a wonderful place to workout...Ive only been going for a couple months now and although Im a little chunky Ive had really handsome, nice men come up to me and encourage and compliment me and my commitment to get fit. Everyone seems happy to be there and smiley.The Staff is absolutely wonderful and the place is just spotless!I cant say enough good things about it and thats before I even get to the price!Thank you Planet Fitness for providing such a wonderful place to be!!!

Overall, I enjoy working out here. I find it to have a good selection and many options if your workouts are centered on staying in shape and not getting buff. some people seem to be complaining about their rules being too strict, but I still see at least one person obsessively checking themselves out or dropping weights every time Im there, so go figure. their staff is friendly, if a little inattentive, but Im there to work out and not converse so I dont mind.

This has been a pretty good place to start my gym membership back up and I can see that theyre trying to improve however I agree with one of the reviews prior to mine were a member states that they actually need some fans! and its very true.I was working out today during Thanksgiving day and I thought there wouldnt be so many people but it seems like everyones trying to get to work out before they ate turkey and I got to tell you.....! it was very hot in there and when I contacted the girl on the front desk she said we have AC and I told her yes I understand but the air is not circulating fast enough for everyone to get enough oxygen as theyre working out.I think she understood what I said and said she was going to call the manager but I wanted to write this review because I didnt get immediate response that was convincing enough to me that was convincing enough to me and Ive been thinking about this for a long time and I feel that it is time that they should start investing in some fans just to keep people with enough oxygen going around for everyone to be able to get a good work out without getting super hot and gasping for air as theyre trying to get to Bens work a possible.

Its a good starter gym. Only thing I wish was more free weights and octagon dumbbells. Rounds nice but switching to octagon will give many more workouts such as dumbbell pushups or lifts.

Very cheap! $10/month with a start up fee, and once a year membership fee of $29!!! Its a great atmosphere depending on what time you go. I really enjoy it because I can be there as long as I want, its very affordable (since Im in college) and the employees are very nice. I would prefer a pool, and maybe a larger space; however for the price everything is perfect for me! :)

I cancelled my membership by letter. They charged me again so I changed my payment method to an expired card and removed the one they had on file. They did not delete my card info from their system and charged me 5 days later on the card that wasnt even supposed to be in their system.Ive reported both them and abc financial for fraud and will not be returning to planet fitness. If you value an honest company stay away from planet fitness!

So far this is my favourite PF. The staff are very friendly, the bathrooms and showers are clean. Its a smaller gym i feel but they have enough equipment for starters like me.

PF is perfect for me... Plenty of equipment to use... 30 minute circuit for those pressed on time... Tanning and hydromassage beds... And you cant beat the price! 😉

Friendly staff are what really stood out for me. The location has decent facilities. A smaller location than most I would say, but the staff made me feel welcome.

So I just bought a membership to Planet Fitness in Rohnert Park, Ca. Because now I can work out at 4 am. Just drove 30 minutes to a dark gym advertising 24/7 #planetfitness and yes I took a picture.

Its my favorite! no judgement clean, friendly & has everything I need. They also have trainers for added support & guidance to help you achieve your goals.

Cant beat the price - However its crowded a lot and can feel a little claustrophobic. There isnt enough room to stretch and/or do body weight exercises. If theres more than 4 people in that area, its uncomfortable. Friendly staff. I wish their hours were extended on the weekends. My biggest complaint would be that THERE ARE NO FANS!! I sweat a lot when I run and can overheat really easily. I really wish they would install some overhead fans or something. For a smaller facility that overcrowds easily..it gets hot in there really fast!

Guy at desk basically lied said I would only pay $20 monthly now Im being charged at the begging of the month and at the end a total of $51 dollars per month. I did not sign up for this! Worst service at a gym by far. If u wanted to pay $50 I would have gone to a better gym. Hate how you guys lied to me to get a contract and pay a different amount to what I was told.

Planet Fitness in Rohnert Park is the only gym Ive ever liked - and stuck with. Its a great place for normal people to get fit without all the ego and fanfare. I always feel safe and comfortable there. The staff is amazing - always friendly, informative and helpful. The equipment, locker rooms, showers and bathrooms are constantly being cleaned. Its conveniently located, theres plenty of parking, and I hardly ever have to wait for a machine. And for $10/mo. its a steal.

Good club

Cheap machines are level with the low fees. Clean and busy. Gets the job done. But, you cant row on a toy and get a workout accomplished. The elliptical too was uncomfortable to use firmly, strongly.

This is a no frills gym. It has workout equipment and thats really it. No pool, hot tub, sauna or basketball courts. Just workout equipment, some TVs and showers / restrooms. But it is super cheap.

They are upgrading to improve customer experience. Lot of cardio and weight equipment. They have training beds/ rooms with massage tables/ chairs. Wish they had sauna and steam rooms in the bathrooms for after workouts. It would make raise the bar for this gym.

I absolutely love the no judgment attitude at this establishment. The atmosphere, the cost, the cleanliness, at equipment....well, everything. Also, the no cell phones on the workout floor really appeals to me. I dont have to listen to vapid, loud, inane conversations. And no one is sitting on a machine texting and checking out their clothes, makeup and hair while others are waiting to use that machine. Its not a meet (meat) market, but people are friendly and polite. I encourage everyone to use Planet Fitness.

I really like that there are very few muscle heads at the Planet in Rohnert Park. The equipment is always clean and in good/great condition.My favorite part is that I have been a member for 7 years and my monthly membership fee is still $10, the same it was when I first joined.

Great gym if youre on a budget.

The customer service here sucks to the extreme.... I’ve been trying to cancel this policy since I started... The main reason is because I’m injured.. i can’t do a lot of things right now do to work accident plus a car accident. I’ve tried telling them this and they say no... NOW I was told that i have to cancel my policy right on the day it renews or else I will continue to get charged. This is seriously not ok. They have been charging me for the past 8 months. I’ve tried talking to the manager and not getting anywhere with them. This should not be legal what they do.. it’s worse than being able to cancel your phone bill.

Good place to workout. Not crowded often and has a lot of equipment for the person who only casually works out (like myself)

I joined planet fitness thinking that, despite the low price, it would be a professionally run gym. I was wrong. The staff is apathetic, sometimes to the point of being rude. The equipment is limited and its often overly crowded for the amount of equipment available.Eventually I ended up moving to an area that didnt have a Planet Fitness near by. I asked them to cancel the remainder of my contract without the cancellation fee because I wasnt going to be able to get to the facility, but they said no. This is an unreasonable policy.I would never recommend Planet Fitness to anyone.

Only been here a couple times so far but staff have been friendly and helpful, the place seems clean, equipment well kept, and doesnt get as crowded as 24 hour fitness. They dont have the kind of options as a 24 hour fitness but the price is much more reasonable for the everyday gym goer

Go here once a week on the weekend. Its in a good area, with ample parking. Open 24/5 mon-friday.

Love pf.... i have black tag membership so i can go to any facility anytime their open and bring a buddy ! At this location tho, in the shower, the hot and cold are backwards and the shower heads are bottom priority .

This location is definitely getting better, (mens) showers are problematic still, hot water takes a long time to come through, besides that, this location is much cleaner then before.

This place scammed my husband and I. We cancelled out memberships - in person- in December and they continued to bill us for the first three month of the new year. I noticed the charges, I called them and they claimed to have no record of our exchange. After this review I’m reporting this “club” to the Better Business Bureau and notifying my bank of fraudulent charges. Apparently, I’ve read that this happens regularly with other planet fitness franchises so I assume this is part of a money making endeavor. Fabulous idea to “loose” the paper work for member that have moved out of the area. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Go hit up 24 hour fitness down the block.

Every gym which paints its equipment in their own colors (in this case yellow and purple) has an attitude problem. So, apparently, wearing a spaghetti tank-top is considered gymtimidation, like one of the users pointed out below. They appear to be very concerned about their liability issues (huh?). For $10 a month (+$30 joining fee) it is a good deal, otherwise NO!

Mass of humanity. Considered joining because of the $10/month rate. There is an annual fee that was $40 (I think) that the ads dont mention. Still, pretty cheap. Decided not to join. A lot of aerobic machines of various types but they all (or almost all) were in use at around 7:45 PM on a week night. The weight area had one type of machine for just about every lift. Looked like one pair of dumbells at each weight - didnt do a close inspection. The place was packed. You would have to wait for almost all of the lifts you would want to do. Parking lot was packed.

I love my gym. Friendly staff with everything I need for mympersonal fitness.

Attended with my friend, we were both working out and I was helping her with how to use weights. We were asked if I was a trainer(being paid professionally)-No was our reply. However it did not end there, he stood and questioned us for a few more minutes and even suggested that maybe I should not use my clipboard, which I use to keep myself accountable, as it LOOKS like I am a trainer! We were embarrassed and left feeling very harassed, thankfully I am not a member, I was testing the gym out. The gym also does not have barbells.

Love this place! Never stuck with getting in shape until planet fitness. Cant say enough good things. No one is there to make any judgements, that alone makes it a comfortable place to work out. (Coming from someone not into public display or exhibition) The best part of it ......Ive lost 35 lbs.!!!!! !

Everything you could hope for in a gym that charges between $10 and $20. Clean, treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes and Stairmasters to satisfy your cardio needs and plenty of weight machine to compliment the selection of free weights and cables. Super friendly members and staff.
