I absolutely love this place! I discovered it by accident because I was needing a good pedicure near my workplace. That was a year ago and now I’ve been coming back at least once a month! The techs are very professional and the owners are so nice!

Had an amazing experience here. Everyone was very nice. The nail tech that worked on my hands was quick but very good. She was gentle and always asked me if her work was good with me before moving on to the next step.

My daughter and I went to do a manicure and pedicure and one of the workers was very unprofessional and mean. The next day we have to go back because of the polish had came off and that worker didnt say anything and did it again but with the bad actitud and cut my daughters finger. She didnt apologize.

I went in today and asked for a mani/pedi. The lady dipped my nails since I had one broken and didn’t give me the manicure at all. While filing my nails she cut 2 of my fingers. I’m guessing they are accustomed to seeing blood on fingers because her only comment was, “Are they pretty?”The pedicure was terrible. My toes are painted but I normally leave with smooth and refreshed. They didn’t remove rough/dry skin at all.I would not recommend this place at all.

I only just started getting my nails done with the dip powder a few months ago, and I really like the folks at Gold Star. My nails are always smooth (no weird bumps) and when they grow out I dont have a problem with big ridges along the edge.You get a drink of your choice to start (I prefer the pink wine myself) and have a few books of colors to go through. Theres a new, young gal that entertains my desire for some crazy color choices and adding some fun details. (So cuuute! she says) She might be new but shes very good. Shes probably my favorite to do my nails, followed by the old man thats the owner.I really enjoyed my Christmas nails (my first time with the new gal. Ive been hooked since!) And I got to try a new brand of dip this last time that has a really nice sparkle in it.Ive gotten a pedicure a few times here and havent been disappointed either. I mainly come for my dip nails though ❤️Love my folks at Gold Star!

Love my nails every time I go here, the staff is really sweet and the environment is very relaxing. I got these nails done by Quan, theyre my favorite set ive gotten + they glow in blacklight! The 3rd picture is 3 weeks later, and they still looked great!

Just moved from Arizona a week ago and felt really overwhelmed by so many nails salons at every corner. We have no family or friends here so I had no one to ask for suggestions on where is the best place to go. Thankfully by luck I took me boys to get their haircut and the lady doing my son’s haircuts had the most beautiful nails. I asked her if she could tell me where she gets them done, she replied right next door at Gold Star Nails. I walked next door and as soon as I walked in I was welcome with a huge smile andfriendly staff. I booked my appointment for the next morning for my daughter and I for gel pedicure and dip nails. My husband also decided to join so he can get a little pedicure pampering as well. I have been getting my nails done for over 25 years and I can say that this place was outstanding. It’s run by a husband and wife, their kids work there too along with other family members. It’s definitely a mom and pops shop, which I LOVED!! They took their time weren’t in a rush to get you out. They were all very sweet and welcoming. I’m so happy say that I have found my nail shop. Oh and for you girls that are looking to get your lashes done as well,, look no further!! They do that too. My lashes look amazing and completely natural. Thank you Gold Star nails!!

Im not from the area, Gold Star Nails was close by, and and there were great reviews.In summary, this was the best manicure that I have ever had. My nails have never looked so clean and perfectly polished!Atmosphere: The salon staff was very professional and thorough with the work they did on me. They make you feel like you are family when you walk in the door. The owner, Quan, checked on us when we were waiting and was very flexible to our many requests.Service: Ang (sp?) worked on my dry, shaggy, peeling cuticles and transformed them into a clean, well cut, professional yet Christmas-y look. The cuticles were cleaned and polished to perfection. Ang took time to make sure each nail was perfect.Cleanliness: This salon was very clean. The equipment was maintained and there was no sign of clutter. The pedicure stations were attractive and the massage chairs were heavenly (I passed out within 5 minutes of sitting down and was pleasantly offered bottled water while I waited). The stations were very clean and each manicurist took good care of their area. A salon like this is impossible to find!Overall, I had an exceptional experience at Gold Star Nails. They made me feel great, their services were top-notch, and I felt like they took the time to care for my needs. I am also very impressed with their cleanliness. Great place to come relax. All the employees here are so attentive. Theyll take great care of you. They offer soda, water, or wine. I got the nexgen dip nails and they did a wonderful job. I love them! Will definitely be back for a pedicure soon!!

**Edit - had to change from 5 to 3, due to my nail overlay messing up the second day I got them done and I was gone on vacation so couldnt get fixed for a week. they fixed and only offered $15 gift card I guess to refund the cost of the chrome overlay. They told me the chrome overlay rubs off easily, I wish they had told me that when I got them and I would of done something different.They did a great job with my nails (acrylic with dip powder) and the whole staff was so friendly!

I have been looking for a new nail studio in Rockwall for several months and I finally came across this little gem. Angel (nail stylist) was great! No hot spots while filing, no sore cuticles, and shaped beautifully. They also don’t nickel and dime you to make the prices outrageous.Great parking, prices, and location too.

Messed up design when they said they could do it, didn’t give me my money back they gave me a free set which was nice. But my nails came out bumpy and unattractive. My friends began to crack on second day and after 4 days her top coat completely peeled off. Very disappointed because I spoke so highly of this place.

Fantastic service! I got a wonderful pedicure that just kept getting better and better with the parafin wax treatment, then hot stone massage, followed with a foot massage. All the while, I got my nails done with the dip powder. I felt completely spoiled by the attention to detail, amount of time taken, and the conversation that made me welcome in this place. I highly recommend this business!

I’m very picky when it comes to the shape and hate when the dip is too thick and looks like you got fat nails, but this place always does a great job. And they last forever. Haven’t had any chipping or cracks since I started coming here. Recommend for sure!

Went here at least 5 times now and I think I want to be thier regular. The staff are very friendly. I love that they do 3 color coats for dipping, not just 2 like some other places I go to. And they do a good job here! There was only one time I chipped it, went back and they fix it for free of charge. I like to go on Wednesday coz they can be a bit busy from Thursday thru weekend.

Place is very clean and everyone is very friendly. I drive from Balch Springs just to get my nails done by Quan. He is awesome and takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend this place! I always leave very happy with the service that I get!

So the usual person I go to is Angel and she is PHENOMENAL! But today, she was busy so I had this one guy. He was TERRIBLE! I had acrylics on before and decided to just do polish today to let my nails heal. He ripped off all of the acrylic nails, which really hurt by the way, and he was very sloppy! I just paid $25 to have to repaint my own nails. I hope the next time I come back Angel will be available, otherwise I will not be back.

I have used just about everyone here and they are all wonderful. When you walk out all your nails are the same length and shape. You wouldnt think that was a problem but every nail salon Ive been to in Rockwall seem to not understand they all should look the same. Huge deal for me. Come here you wont be disappointed.

I got my nails cleaned here they look nice. I dont like many people doing my nails, but the staff at Gold Star Nails are very professional and made this an enjoyable experience.

Be warned, they do not use the electric file and acetone/tinfoil to remove the old nail and polish. They cut the nail short then use the sharp end of an acrylic nail to PRY off the old polish, which in turn removes part of your own nail. Plus she stuck that sharp edge between my nail and the nail bed two times which hurt a lot. I gave her a chance, but ended up walking out. Terrible.

They will leave you looking good every single time!! No complaints here!!
