There was good communication so I knew what was going on the entire time. They pulled another through connections. They checked over the car before they would go through the sale with me to make sure it was up to their standards then detailed it after a test drive.They got me back to Noella to do paperwork and she explained everything well and concisely. She explained the numbers and didnt press me hard to up sell. She let the numbers and my situation dictate my decision.10/10 experience for me. They all were great at their roles.

Went to Hersons Honda on a whim while I was searching for a car to possibly replace my 2006 Honda Pilot as my do it all vehicle and get a car for my daughter who will be heading to college this year. Aaron P. was the first person I spotted. He sat me down to ask some particulars about what I was looking for and we got straight to work looking for a car. He was personable and provided knowledgeable answers to my litany of questions. We went on a few test drives, including one to my house, where he met my daughter. I can honestly say that my car buying experience has never been better. Daniel was so kind, informative, patient and a total gem! We went to test drive a Honda Pilot, and we mentioned that we might want to test drive a Passport as well. It was such an amazing experience going to look for a car there. Everyone was very nice and professional especially Ms.Valeria Linares. She helped me and my wife find the perfect car. I went with my daughter and niece and Val was super nice to them. She went through everything about the car showed up all the unique qualities of the car we chose. My wife was very pleased since she helped us in Spanish and was able to understand everything. When we went to do the test drive she was such an amazing person to talk to my family enjoyed talking to her. She even helped adjust the seat to the way I want and help me set up CarPlay. I was hesitant to buy a used car during this crazy time, but Hersons Honda proved me wrong. All the staff (I worked with Edgar) was very professional, kind, and helpful. The car I was looking at was incorrectly labeled as Honda Certified Pre-Owned, however, after bringing it to the Sales Managers attention, they were very apologetic and negotiated a lower price.Ive only had the car for a few days, but so far so good! They even filled the tank on the way out.

Val was great and personable! We almost left because of the low inventory not having the model/color we wanted but she assured us to not let that stop us, she could find the car we wanted at another dealship and have it brought over. Within a few days, they called us to say the car we wanted was in and we could come and sign for it, the trade in process was easy, all of the financial/signing is digital and they save all the paperwork to a flash drive instead of printing it for you. Very easy process, highly recommend Val if you are looking for a new Honda.

I came into Hersons after visiting a Toyota dealership where they gleefully told me about the $3,000 to $5,000 markup on their vehicles due to the shortage. I met with Jeffrey who was personable, professional and affable. He showed me what was in stock, and we settled on checking out a blue Honda Odyssey.I test drove the car, which was wonderful, and we sat down to talk trade and cost. At the end of the conversation (I had come in to do research) his manager offered me $1,000 off the vehicle if I bought today. That stated negotiations, and we talked for a couple hours until we had a deal. They even sent me home with the car to show my wife, who was home with the kids.It took maybe five hours start to finish to get the deal done, which was record time for a car dealer. They worked with the third party finance company and didnt make a hard sell on the warranties. In all, my experience was wonderful and I cant recommend Jeffrey and Hersons Honda enough.

He went through all the details of the car and he was very enthusiastic and seemed like he enjoyed and knew what he was doing. Buying a car from Hersons Honda was a positive experience from start to finish. Unlike other dealerships where you can barely hear yourself think. Hersons showroom was relatively quiet and calm each time I was there. More importantly, Val was the perfect sales person! She was knowledgeable, friendly and patient throughout the process and never made me feel like I was under pressure to buy something on the spot. Best of all, there were no surprises...Val was good on her word throughout the process and I would highly recommend her!

I made an appointment in service to take care of a safety recall. Two weeks later, I bring the car in and am told they dont have the part because they FORGOT to order it. They say they have now ordered it, it will arrive the next day and to bring the car back in the morning.8 AM next morning, I bring the car in again, ask them to check if the part is there before leaving the car, they leave to check. They come out saying the part is here so I leave the car. 4:30 PM they call and say they didnt do ANYTHING to the car because they didnt have the part. They tell me to bring the car the next day (tomorrow because I just got off the phone with them). Really? I have to arrange to be without a vehicle two separate days and now youre asking a third because Hersons couldnt effectively communicate or reschedule the service when you dont have the part necessary to perform the recall work prior to the appointment. Im fine with rescheduling the service before you take the car, but dont make me waste my time and money. First and last experience at Hersons.

I had a Pleasant experience while dealing with Hersons Honda. I was a little skeptical at first since it is a car dealership after all, but i got helped by Michael Clayter who didn’t try any funny business just straight up good customer service with a smile. Everyone there were nice, helpful and made me more comfortable in purchasing my vehicle. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed to get anything signed and get me out the door as other places made me feel. Very rude: Needed to place an order for parts. It was 8am and spoke to Glen in the parts department. Glen doesn’t seem to like his job nor the customers. Acted like he didn’t hear me so I had to yell every time I spoke. After I placed the order it was quite expensive and needed to hear if they had something cheaper. I called many times and they would just put me on hold different times. They would not let me talk or ask specifically what I needed, simply put me on hold or hung up on me. After many attempts I finally got a hold of Glen. As quickly as I could, I said “I need to cancel an order I placed” then he said “it’s canceled now bye” hung up on me. I needed to say I need to cancel an order because I placed it at 8am and the delivery was going to be at 10am. Now I needed to ask for different prices which Glen did not give me the opportunity to speak.This is the second time I’ve had issues with this place. If they can not handle or like their job, they should look elsewhere. They can not be rude to customers because we bring their business to life. Goto the Automobile location in silver spring. They do not treat you like this at all.

Thanks for the GM Chris come to my home and demonstrate the driving skills for this car, and yes he did the excellent performance reaching more than 60 MPG. I also reach the unbelievable 60 MPG, but when I drove to New Jersey yesterday, the fuel MPG dropped to no more than 40. It is ok I admit maybe because I am a bus driver with certain method. I could give a 5 stars just for the service performance from Hersons Honda, but not from this car itself. If anyone wants to consider Insight, I would sincerely recommend you the Accord. Working as a professional tour bus driver and cross-state trailer truck driver, I am a rational and dispassionate customer. Despite of the annoying noise with limited and delayed performance when you try to speed up from 60 to 80 miles/h, the official-announced 50~55 MPG fuel efficiency is the most attractive key-point for must buyer including me.Luis is a good salesman with patient and optimistic attitude, and he tried to adjust some setting up in my car when i complain the low MPG of just around 35 for the first time, but now still not more than 40 MPG which is big discrepancy from the advertisement.I hope the dealer can repair this issue for me ASAP but not just tell me keeping driving and the MPG number will miraculously improve from 39 to 52. Who can believe that? And could any other insight owners share your actual driving MPG please. According the law of Maryland State, if the dealer could not fix the original problem within 3 times, the car was judged to be a “Lemon Car”.Monday 03/29/2021Herson’s Honda finally sends the general manager and service manager to inspect the vehicle, instead of keep pushing us aside or ask us to wait longer and see.After 7 hours of inspection, Chris (general manager) claims that the car has passed all the manufacture’s standards.As you can see from the trip computer, Chris was able to double the MPG to 71.6 within 4.9 miles of distance. Chris says that he didn’t do anything to the car.Friday 04/02/2021Today we took a 400 miles road trip, and the MPG goes down to 35-36 again.

Tried calling and got put on hold for over an hour two days in a row, apparently nobody knows how to answer the d*mm phone. Best business tip there is, make it easy for people to give you their money. This dealership makes it quite literally impossible.

I have changed my rating to 1 star.Five weeks ago I visited Hersons service department to have a gap in my spoiler addressed.They failed to close the gap and said they would replace the spoiler. They have failed to follow throug and have not even attempted to contact me. I have contacted them and heard their excuses and apologies but they have done nothing to rectify the problem.My first review:Based on price and lack of pushy sales, I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to buy from Hersons.Aaron was very helpful. He answered all my questions and concerns without being pushy or demanding. When it came time to add my custom accessories, he handled my vehicle as if it were his own.He and Ethel processed my purchase with precision and excellence.I will look to Hersons for my next vehicle.

Initially, I received great service and happily drove away with a 2022 Civic. However, after a month the calls were nonstop and somehow I was told after an entire month that they needed my car back as the bank had denied my loan. I do not understand how a car can be sold to an individual and weeks go by for you to take my car back. As always, greedy companies doing anything to sell their merchandise to the public. Future buyers beware.

While my wife and I hadnt planned on buying a new car today, we had brought in our 10+ year old Honda Element, which we purchased from Hersons, and inquired about trading it in while we were waiting. We worked with Aaron Phillips who was wonderful! He was not the stereotypical pushy sales-person, but rather very direct and upfront, which we very much appreciated. We test drove a CR-V Hybrid and considered the HR-V. Aaron was able to help us come to a decision based on some of our very specific needs for a vehicle. He was exceptionally informed on the various vehicles and options, so in the end, we felt very comfortable making our final decision on the spot. What started as a routine maintenance visit to Hersons Honda, ended in us driving off the lot with a brand new vehicle which we are thrilled about!

Had a very positive experience and found the staff to be extremely courteous and professional (especially Jeffrey D) while willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our preferences! Would definitely recommend this dealership over others in the broader area!

I explained to the team that my car had broken down and that I was in need of a car. Isabella was the most helpful salesperson I have ever spoken with. She cared more about solving my current problem than making a sale. She Clearly knew what she was talking about, and when she didnt have the answer she was prompt to get it. Stephen helped explain everything about finances so easily. It was digestible. What could have been a nightmare turned into a boon. There was no rush, and I am elated to find a place I am comfortable.

Overall, everything was great.I did all my research on line and knew exactly what I wanted. I contacted the dealership online to get my quote. There seem to be some confusion or their online process could use a little work, but once I was able to get beyond that, everything was great. This is a review for their Service department. I have not purchased a vehicle from them, so I cannot speak to their sales staff.Quite possibly the worst service department/staff I have experienced at a Honda dealership. Today was nearly 3/4 of my day spent wasted on a single oil change. Called to schedule, was told it would take one hour. Arrived for check-in at 10:40, and was told it would take 1.5 hours. At 12:30, more than 1.5 hours after arrival, I check in to see why I am still waiting, and Im told that it will be another 30-45 minutes - somebody wrote down that I was promised my car would start service by 12:15pm. Nobody notified me of any changes to time, nobody let me know anything - I had to seek out answers the whole process. I finally gave up at 12:30, and asked a friend for a ride home. Wasnt notified until 3pm that my van was ready for pickup.Dont waste your time with the service department. Their excuse was that they were learning a new computer system - but that does not excuse that it does not take a computer to complete an oil change, or to notify a customer of any changes to times of service.

We had a wonderful experience trading older car, and buying my Honda 2021 CR-V today. Aaron Phillips was our very professional, and knowledgeable sales associate. He was calm, and not pushy. The Herson’s team, Sales manager, finance manager, Drew, and Aaron, showed me how my car operated technically. It was easier than I expected, and I highly recommend Herson’s Honda for car buying.

I dont normally post reviews but the service at this dealership was wonderful !!! Aaron was very professional, pleasant and calm. I didnt feel rushed or overwhelmed by the entire process. He took his time to explain every details. He was more concerned about getting me the right car at a good price than the sell. He made it easy and enjoyable. He saved me so much time and hustle.

Always problems at this service center. I make appoints for service and there are always delays. Today I am here for a flat tire made an appointment for 2 PM. After 2 hours I was told it would be another two hours. My car is just two years old. I don’t think I would buy a Honda again. The car is fine but the dealers are portly run. Why make appointments if they are not going adhere to it.

I just bought a car yesterday which is the 2022 Honda Civic LX Sport. I am a first time buyer and Isabella helped me a lot by showing and explaining different model of cars. Noella also was really nice and she explained all the financing stuff clearly. Thumbs up to Herson’s Honda👍🏻

My Car buying process was very fast and easy. Mike, the salesperson, was very experienced and knowledgeable. He was very happy to answer all my questions. He took me on the road for testing and he happily explainined the cars features. The financingprocess was also easy and fast with Ethel. They made the whole process painless.

The sells department is great, but the auto service center needs to improve the quality of service provided and communication. I dropped off my car for service at 10AM. I needed them to replace the power master switch of the driver side window. I received a call around 4PM asking if I authorize them to open the door to inspect the problem and that I was going to be charged $200 just for them to identify the issue. That should have been communicated at the time the appointment was made, and not 6 hrs after they had my car there. Clearly, werent going to take care of the issue as they were closing at 6PM.

So happy with the experience of buying my new CR-V!! Rich was fantastic! Helpful and went out of his way to get me a deal I was comfortable with... even though he supports Chelsea!! Brought out my 3 top cars so I could drive and compare...sat with me and took the time to teach and make sure I was comfortable with all of the components of my new car... even programmed my Bluetooth and radio stations! Ethel in finance was knowledgeable and considerate.. not pushy at all.. she made sure I was comfortable and understood my finance plan. She even went over how to get my free maintenance. Ethel and Rich are the ones you want to ask for! Great experience and so happy with my new CR-V!!

Recently bought a second car from Hersons. When we bought a few years ago we werent particularly impressed, but it was fine. We didnt bother to find that salespersons business card for this purchase, but we didnt feel the need to stay away from the dealership. However, this time Daniel our salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable. Well bother to try to find him in the future. Similar story with the 2 finance managers this time versus last, much more pleasant this time. I hope thats a trend and not just better luck.On the service side, not much to say, but its been better here than elsewhere for me.
