This is an amazing place! Extremely clean as well as professional! I am a hairdresser and expect a degree of cleanliness and service when I go in somewhere. Glossy nails goes above and beyond! The owners Bao and Kim could not be nicer! I recommend this place for everyone, no matter who does your nails! They are a very talented team! I won’t go anywhere else!

This is the cleanest nail salon Ive ever been to!!! Kim and Lao are the owners and they are fantastic people! Kim does such an amazing job on my nails. She is the sweetest person Ive ever met! She called me when I was going into surgery to have my baby and she wished me good luck! Thats the type of service youll get here- family! They are truly family and so so nice! Lao does a fantastic job on my moms toes! He takes extra time to hit all of her pressure points and he goes above and beyond to always fit us in even when they dont have time. Glossy nails is the best place to go for all the things!

This place is IT. I’ve been to so many nail salons around the area, and i liked them but there was always something I was not happy with after I left. Kim and her husband and staff keep this place incredibly clean and well kept. It’s beautiful and the selection of polishes is so good!! Love to support them!!

First timer. No regrets. I’ve never gotten a pedicure before. They went above and beyond, messaging my feet and calves on top of it all. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Took my 3 year old daughter there and they made her feel like a princess.

Ive been to many salons, but never any that demonstrated the the amount of kindness and professionalism Glossy Nails Spa treated me and my party yesterday.I called in an hour after opening to make a reservation for 3 full set manicures and 1 pedicure (which is, in my opinion, very last minute for such a tall order) and not only did they schedule us for 2 hours later, but when I had to call again to cancel the pedicure AND move the appointment to 5 instead of 1 oclock, they switched it with ease and grace, reassuring me it was no problem and thanking me for my patronage.When we arrived, they sat us in the pedicure seats just because the lounge seats were sunny and appeared hot, gave us water, and checked on us periodically before our appointment! My manicurist, who I believe was named Kim, did SUCH an amazing job - I had to share.Could not be more pleased with my experience, and I will definitely be giving them all of my nail oriented business in the future!!!

Best manicure ever! I have never had a better manicure than this place. I tried dips for the first time here and they lasted so long. I only got rid of them because my nails were growing out but otherwise my nails still looked perfect. Im very hard on my nails with work and they didnt chip or discolor at all. Customer service was excellent and everyone there is so nice! It is the cleanest looking nail salon I have ever been to. I wont go anywhere else!

I have lived in Rocklin forever and have tried most of the nail salons in the area... hands down the best by far. BEST MASSAGE. They take their time do such a good job. Also it is verrry clean. Finally found a nail salon that I will be returning to every single time! And the sweetest family owns and operates. Glossy Nails is the best!

Beautiful place, nice people and a great selection of services. But I am not a fan of sitting for a half hour when I made an appointment to avoid the wait. Val did my pedi, he truly did an awesome job. Clearly a perfectionist which I love. Just wish it hadnt taken so long.

Cant say enough about how much I love this salon! I waited to do a review until I had been a few times. This is my third Mani/pedi (1 eyebrow wax) and I will never go anywhere else. The owners are a couple, and they are the sweetest people! They always talk to you with so much respect and care. So polite, best customer service! Prices are really great as well! My favorite is it is QUIET! They play massage music and landscape scenery on the tv- no tv shows, news etc. Its so peaceful and a great place to escape! My other favorite part is how clean everything is. The colors are neatly organized on the wall for you to see, and they have samples of every color on fake nails for you to see. P.S. they also do dip nails as well but I didnt like how it makes your nails feel like acrylic. Ill stick to my gel ;)

Ive been here twice now and I really like it. Its clean and upscale. I really like the guy that greets customers and checks us out..i assume he is the owner. He is professional and has great customer service. He always makes sure to check and see if I am happy with my nails because if not he will have it fixed. I plan on continuing to come back here and would totally recommend this place!

My husband and I both have gone here 2 times to get pedicures.It is clean, efficient and gives the best pedicures I’ve ever had.If you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.They give the best foot/leg massages and my nails come out looking shiny and flawless.We left the area for 8 months and came back just to see them

I reviewed this place weeks ago regarding my first experience with them, and with acrylic nails all together. It was an amazing experience for me.My friends manicurist, however, was horrific. She made her bleed - and whenever she got cut, instead of saying sorry, the manicurist grunted with frustration and shoved acetone into her cuts to make them stop bleeding. When we came back to get a fill, the owner was so horrified she gave her a free manicure.We havent seen that manicurist since. However, yesterday we went back to get another fill. We both got the same man, who seemed very new, which made me nervous.He started our session lecturing me on painting over my acrylics, which I guess I understand isnt great, but its my hands and Ill do what I want with them. He should just do his job. He then cut my nails without asking me if I wanted them cut. It was only after he chopped my index nail in half that he decided he should get my opinion.Side note, he also told me my previous nail polish choice was tacky.After this, he used a sandpaper-like file to sand down the acrylic, which would be fine if he wasnt rubbing my actual skin off with it. When I expressed my pain, he playfully slapped my hand, and said beauty is pain.After my skin was rubbed raw, he stuck his sharp thumbnail into my fresh wounds to push my skin away from the nail, which hurt terribly.I needed a break, so I asked him if I could wash the nail dust off my hands, to which he replied No! Youll mess me up.I was being treated like a child, and I felt like I was servicing him more than he was servicing me, what with biting my tongue in pain, manuvering my arm and hand around like some sort of machine, and wordlessly cussing all so he wouldnt slap my hand again.He even took a drill under my nails, all the way to the quick, completely eradicating my nails underneath. Which I KNOW they arent supposed to do.After all that, his paint job was sloppy and unrefined. Theyre bumpy, sharp in the corners and down the sides, and theres still gel nail polish on my skin. I paid $40 for those nails, and now I want nothing more but to rip them off.I love the owners, I really do. They are kind and truly talented, as you can tell from my last review. However, this experience was completely unacceptable. I want to make sure no one else has an experience like mine.If the lovely couple sees this, I suggest a much stricter training system, because something is obviously amiss.

This was my 2nd time getting a pedicure at Glossy Nail. I like to relax while getting a pedicure and rate an establishment on my ability to unwind.The good: The water feature, spa music, and massaging chairs are fantastic. The staff is friendly. They use tub liners and pay attention to cleanliness.The bad: Had an appointment but still waited 10 minutes before being seated. Water became cool because I was left soaking. At one point, all of the employees were carrying on a conversation loudly in a different language making it difficult to relax.I dont recall it being that noisy the first time so Im hoping this was a one off and will give them another try.

Clean, stylish nail salon. Great pedicures at great prices. I got the Deluxe Pedicure and was extremely pleased. The staff is very friendly and they have a huge selection of dip powder and gel colors.

Literally tell customers that they don’t have enough time to do a service, instead of giving a customer an option of waiting. Never had a nail salon turn away business. Not at all impressed.

This place is amazing. The few times I tried to drop in midday during the weekend, they were always super busy. I made it my mission to be waiting for them at the door before opening. Much to my suprise, there was already 4 ladies waiting for the doors to open. We made it there before the staff did... all indications of a fantastic salon. I cannot stress enough how lovely this establishment is... nail polish galore, hot towel warmer, they even bring you a bottle of water at the begining of the pedircure. The owner handled it graciously when the pedicure was complete and I did not get in line for a manicure. Perhaps I wasnt clear in the beginning or maybe the woman who opened was preoccupied and forgot to put my name down... whatever the case, they made it right and managed to fit me in even allowing me to sit in the massage chair while I waited. Dont even get ne started on the massage chairs.... omg. I will make appointments here going forward. Bonus is that they are right down the street from my house.

I had Bao do my pedicure and the massage was the best Ive ever had! Everything was just perfect. Ive been getting pedicures for a LONG time and Ive been to a lot of places in rocklin and I have to say I didnt know what a 5 star experience was until I came here. I truly felt so PAMPERED and so WELCOMED. It was calming and veryyyyyy relaxing. Great amazing work all around the place is spectacularly beautiful and CLEAN! Ill be back tomorrow for nails!
