Employees are doing a good job.

When I decided to start going to a gym I was really nervous. I was a total newbie who didn’t know how the machines worked or even where to start. I chose Planet Fitness because they were very welcoming on my first day! I didn’t feel judged while trying out the machines. I also chose PF because it had affordable monthly prices that a college student like myself could easily pay. The staff is friendly and when you go in regularly they make sure to recognize it :).

Just called and they should finally be back open on Tuesday 3/16. Fingers crossed. The fact that this has been the only gym closed compared to all others in town is the reason for my rating. When open they are a nice small gym with the essential equipment. Cant wait to get back in there. We have all waited way too long

This has to be one of the best gyms around-LOTS of equipment and VERY, VERY clean. Darlene showed us around and explained all the equipment and was very friendly. Also met Marcus (manager) who was also very friendly. All the staff were very welcoming. We joined and cant wait to start exercising again and will start tomorrow.

No barbells. Heavy lifting not allowed (shrug). Locations should instruct members not to crowd the dumbbell racks - rookies dont know. Otherwise, well appointed, clean, and the rates are very reasonable.

Everything is purple. LOL! Loads of cardio equipment. No free weight bench press, all Smith machines with some funky cabling to soften the decent. Spacious enough to work out is groups or for the anti-vaxxer that is still cautious of keeping a safe distance from others. Good luck with that. This place is a little like their bathrooms, no paper towels, just a lot of hot air.

First time back in way too long! So long ago I cant blame COVID. Planet Fitness is a nice, clean and new feeling. I sure hope i can keep it up.

Nice family, large, clean and lots of equipment. Sometimes free weights is a little crowded but thats all.

Wish they had more free weights, but accessibility is good and access to multiple locations when traveling is a plus.

Clean, good variety of equipment, and the showers are open! They are limiting capacity to 38 members at a time, for all the obvious reasons. I only had to wait a few minutes to get in at 730 pm on a Wednesday.

The gym is great, lots of equipment and the gym is very clean, loved coming here all the time, but the gym should be open, other gyms like crunch fitness which is also a indoor gym is still open even through covid restrictions, this gym needs to open back up again, working at home just isn’t the same.

Not sure why the rest of the gyms in the area are open and this chain is closed. Joined Calif Family Fitness for accommodating and respecting Covid.

Opening up again during covid march 2021 and most are not keeping masks on in the gym. You would think they are tired of closing down over and over again. Just wear a mask as stated on their website.

Pretty disappointed. I already had a problem once with the Citrus heights location but when the Rocklin location opened I figured I would give it a shot. Gym is nice, new, clean. Staff is friendly but unable to answer my questions or resolve any problems. Mask rules arent being enforced inside like the signs posted say. The second they reopened they charged me double even though I would have cancelled months ago if I could have. Their business model is to sell as many cheap gym memberships as possible to people, knowing that most will stop going and they will charge you as long as possible.

I love going here. Clean and the machines I want are always available...I wish COVD would go away so I can go back...again.

PF has been my go-to for years because of their convenient locations, low-pressure atmoshphere, high quality fitness equipment, and friendly staff. This location specifically has adhered very well to COVID-19 standards. Masks must be worn upon entry, but are allowed to be removed while exercising at any station. There are also social distancing measures in place, with every other treadmill being currently closed for use. Hand sanitizer is readily available and the facility is clean. My only complaint is the lack of a free-weight benchpress bar. But for 10 bucks a month, you cant beat it.

The facility has a variety of machines, equipment and free classes. It’s clean and the staff is very friendly. In addition, the cost compared to other fitness clubs is extremely reasonable with nice perks like tanning booths, massage chairs and aqua massage chairs and beds. I’m really enjoying this membership.

The hydrotherapy chair is to die for. I have medical issues that get much needed relief from this chair. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere is clean, inviting and refreshing!

I became a black card member recently. I enjoy both the massage chair and the hydro-massage after a work out. This gym meets my needs with cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. The staff is great. I really like Planet Fitness. It is open 24 hours. Give it a try. I believe you will see the possibilities for yourself. I am pleased I joined.

They were training someone to sign up new members when we were there. Very nice helpful.We havent used the gym yet.We toured the locker room and walked around the gym. Very clean and well maintained. Its new and were excited to sign up for the $10 a month plan. Previously we had 24hour fitness at four times the cost, its too far so we rarely used it. This seems like a good fit. I will update the review when we get into the gym.

Staff is constantly cleaning equipment

This is a fairly new location so its expected to be a bit busy. My only complaint is the service. I expressed that it was my first time at that location however I was not offered to or nor was I provided any direction on items such as the tanning booth. Even when I signed up for my Valor ship I was not given much information in terms of the items offered.

Nice, new clean facility. Never crowded. Plenty of parking.Staff is generally helpful and professional; most greet you with a smile. There are some who need more customer service training - i.e. Natalie who needs to learn that being short, curt and rude is uncalled for and inappropriate.Having pin-code lockers would be very nice, to not have to bring my own lock every time. That would also help those who carry with them bags and purses in the workout area.It would also be very nice to have some window shades/covers on the south side where it gets quite warm in the afternoon.Overall a good gym. I did and will recommend it to my friends.

I love planet fitness. So after totally missing out on hot girl summer I decided that I needed to get in the gym. Ive never been into working out so I was really nervous about joining a gym, plus the prices have always been out of my budget. I stopped into a PF one day in Natomas after a quick tour I knew this is where my heart belonged. Im now a consistent gym goer. 🙋🏾‍♂️ Im so proud of myself and the classes that they offer are great they get your heart rate up and have you feeling like a million bucks. 10 points for this City girl 👧🏾

This location will open soon and is cheaper and far better of an environment for people who don’t want pissants walking around half naked throwing weights around. It’s a great place for versatility with machines from physical therapy needs to people who want to better their health and overall vibe of their self image. Stay happy and healthy people.

I absolutely love this gym. I was at Crunch for maybe 4 months and it was terrible. PF has great equipment and very clean. Staff and guests are very nice. Its a great atmosphere.

This brand new workout facility is filled with equipment and has different designated workout areas. This is a great place to go for people that enjoy a nice workout but arent super hardcore. Theyve got a variety of television stations and upbeat music playing. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. Upgraded members also get access to tanning, massage chairs, HydroMassage beds, and their total body enhancement machine as well as unlimited access for guests.

I travel a lot; therefore, I exercise in different gyms, and sports clubs in different cities, my experience with this planet fitness location was very pleasing, the facility is clean and neat, equipment in an excellent condition, plenty of machines and weights, so I did not need to wait for others to finish their exercise to start mine, but the best part was the front desk team, they are very helpful, friendly and professional, shout-out to Monica and Heather, they are amazing.

This is a very easy gym to belong to. Everyone is friendly, the place is clean. Even at busy times there is so much cardio equipment. Ive been to many gyms over the the years this one has almost everything. Just the caution that heavy lifting is your thing this is probably not going to be a good fitHighly recommend upgrading your membership its only like $10 more and they have tanning massage beds HydroMassage

This was by far the best Planet Fitness Ive ever been to. They have so much equipment you would never have to wait. Very clean. Friendly staff.

Great atmosphere, its large so its not too crowded and there are plenty of machines.

Terrible front desk staff! His attitude was uncalled for and he should not be in customer service. We love Planet Fitness but will not be returning to this location. If you have any questions do not bring it up to the staff here without them making you feel like I youre not a paying customer.

I signed up for their membership with the mothers day promo, showed them a picture of Ma n me and all is good.

This is a pretty nice Planet Fitness with regards to appearance. In terms of cleanliness and upkeep, its one of the best Ive ever been to. Ive never had a negative interaction with any of the staff.Like every other Planet Fitness, it dedicates a large majority of its real estate to treadmills. If you go when its busy (as this location often is during the summer), it can be tough to get to a machine you need and near impossible to get a bench at the free weights or the weights you want. Its especially crowded now with PFs policy of letting teenagers work out for free until the end of September.If you can get there when its not busy, its a 5/5 experience. Otherwise its average at best.

Clean facility and for the price it’s a deal, however you are in a contract because to cancel it cost me $58 and at Crunch you can join anytime for same pricing and they also have hydro massage chairs and NO Cancellation fee.

Very positive interaction with the General Manager (GM) of the Rocklin location. The GM was extremely helpful with getting me a new key fob (eventhough an employee at the same branch told me I had to go back to the Citrus Heights location for a new fob) as it had cracked and I was no longer able to have it on my key chain. The GM also showed me how to download and use the PF app so that I could sign in using my phone. The GM also showed me several features of the app - i.e. videos and class sign ups. To me, this was going ABOVE and BEYOND what previous employees had not done and I TRULY TRULY APPRECIATE IT!!!!Receiving this type of positive and extremely helpful interaction with the GM makes me want to go the gym more often 😁😁😁THANK YOU ROCKLIN PF!!!!!

Would give more stars but they clean and shut down locker room from 6:00 - 7:00 twice this week. This location is 24/7, and this kind of cleaning needs to be done when its dead. Not when people are coming in to work out and shower.l which is something we pay for! Please fix this issue
