Reserved car in advance via Priceline.When we arrived they insisted on adding 110% of our total bill as a hold. When we questioned that decision they said it was protection on the price of the vehicle, but then went on to say that if someone rented a much more expensive vehicle they would charge the exact same hold, and therefore negating their original statement.They refused to take more than one payment method and refused to work with us on any of the alternative options requested or presented.We felt stuck because we needed to get on the road and needed a larger vehicle for the trip.We had to use the card of someone younger than 25, adding additional fees of $25.00 per day to our total, and then they added an additional $37 per day on top of the rate at which I reserved the vehicle. Almost $1,000 hold for one weekend and stress after dealing with an intransigent staff member.After filing a complaint with Priceline about 150 is getting refunded back, but none of the other excess charges.Be careful when you go here. Watch the contract and watch your back.
