I visited this trail initially in its early development at least five to six years ago. The changes since then are amazing! Enjoy the walking trail by the river or the adjacent shops and bistro along the side - the best of both worlds.

Best trail in the Rock Hill/ Fort Mill region. You get an easy 7 miles to and from the trestle. Many deer and pretty birds around plus the scenery of the river….love it.

Beautiful and clean river. The entrance has easy access. Many cool places to hangout with friends like the Grapevine wine bar and Libbies Bistro with riverfront views across the street. I love this place!I forgot to add...... There is a free book nook at the pedestrian entrance and a small amphitheater for group activities.

Awesome 3 mile walkway next to the Catawba River. A perfect place for a run, a stroll, bike ride, or a ride down the river! The kids enjoyed the overlooks. Lots of shaded areas. We saw several deer while strolling down the walk. Restrooms at each end of the walkway which is definitely a plus when you have small children!

This us a great place to walk, jog or ride your bike. Beautiful wide asphalt path with several safe and sturdy bridges. The path is naked every quarter mile. There is park benches available along a very scenic Catawba River. There are painted markers on the path that has the emergency number 911 and a 4-digit number that is a location. So if you are in trouble you just need the location number when you call 911. I think this is brilliant aide. Some of the location numbers have disappeared when the path was repaired in places...hopefully someone will redo those locations.

Great trail. Rock hill has some really nice parks and this is one of the nicest ones. The trail is next to the river the whole time, and its really pleasant. There are sunning turtles on the Catawba early in the morning, an insane amount and an amazing view.

River Walk is fun for everybody. There’s also a tarely6 used dog park but its big enough for dogs to run and run if there were enough of them, Loved this park

I walked on the trail for the first time today after getting positive feedback from my neighbor. I have to say I will be going there from here on out to do my daily walk. Very clean trail, nice atmosphere, beautiful view, friendly people. I felt extremely safe!

Beautiful paved nature walk beside the Catawba River! A great place to come and stroll as well as get a measured walk. (This is NOT a gym.)

I love this place! Perfect distance for a 5k when you do the trail and lots of hills with markers every .25 miles for good tracking.This ontop of the open forest feel is great!Being next to the catawba also is great for those that want to go tubing in the summer!

GREAT PLACE TO JOG, WALK, BIKE, OR Kayak!

Such a beautiful place to walk, run, bike or work out. The trail is well maintained and theres a couple of places to put in tubes or kayaks.

Can be crowded some days but its a beautiful spot. Recommended.

The trail is very easy to walk, about 10,000 steps round trip turn around where the train trestle passes above the covered footbridge.

Very nice walkway that is stroller friendly and has beautiful views of the river. Definitely will be going back.

Nice wide paved trail very clean well kept nice water views while I appreciate the convenience of the restrooms the stalls are very tight anyone the slightest bit bigger than me would not be able to use the facilities.

Great place to take in nature without going too far. Parking can be hard to find, especially on weekends. Will be a top notch location once more eateries are open, after the walk a snack is a must!

One of my most favorite places to take a walk/trot. Beautiful scenery & very serene on weekday mornings.

I love RiverWalk. I run 2 to 3x a week there. Ideal for running, biking, walking, stroller walking, fishing, Yoga and meditation, reading, creating art, canoeing,etc. Its so peaceful and calming there, and you see deer too, and great Park staff. Thank you.

River walk trail is great & FREE. Unlike Greenway trail in Fort Mill where you have to pay membership for you & additionally for your pets to enjoy the view, lake, etc. The Riverwalk main trail is kept clean despite inconsiderate heartless jerks still leaving garbage and allowing their pets to poop sometimes directly on the pavement people run/ walk on without picking it up. This bad behavior is shown, despite the receptacle stations along the trails of free bags & disposal stations provided to poop & scoop for their beloved pets. How unkind, thoughtless, & purely selfish! We dont allow our children to poop anywhere in our homes or public places. Why do these selfish ones allow their furry children to do so? Common sense does not prevail! But overall, the park maintenance try to do the best they can to keep up with the inconsiderate ones bad behavior so others can continue to enjoy nature that Riverwalk Trail provides. There are 3 different levels of difficulty of varying trails too. Finally, Food amenities are at the beginning of one of the trails as well, but opens later in the day. Pick up after yourself & family, share the trail, & just enjoy!

Love it here. Lots of scenery n wildlife. Blacktop walking trail along the river, you can also bike it or take the off road bike trails. There are stores n restaurants right there, too. Free parking!

One of the next walking/biking/running places around. There are always a bunch of cute families out there with their kids. So you have to be a little cautios. Its beautiful. Goes right along the Catawba River, is paved, and has many place to sit and rest, or go off-road and explore. There are also a network of bike trails there. I wanna go ride then.

Beautiful area. Very scenic with the bridge there. Lots of interesting places to eat and drink. I dropped one star because the parking can be difficult. Quite a bit of it is for Pump House customers only.
