Work was done correctly and they didnt up sell me useless stuff. Biggest thing for me was price that was quoted was the price no nonsense. Have only put about 80 or 90 miles on it but its in good shape so far.

Horrible customer service. Brought a transmission in to be put in. They claim the seals where checked (even though every mechanic in town except lacy transmission replaces the seals on a used transmission) he did not in fact replace the seals just checked them. The moment I got my car back I could smell transmission fluid, had it checked by my dad you can see where it is leaking from....right at the seal. Lacy transmission claims to guarantee there work yet they refuse to fix the seal issue even though he did not replace the seals, claiming it is not his problem! So I would not use them if I were you. Also a flash light with a magnet on it was left in my engine bay by this mechanic which also wasnt cared about either and could have cause a lot of issues rolling around in there. All in all horrible place to do business with take it elsewhere!

Call them for a quote on a transmission repair called them back twice they still never gave me a quote not impressed at all!!

Dropped my 05 f250 6.0 diesel off at lacy transmission which has had several transmission issues from several shops. Talked with Jason and he was beyond knowledgeable about my transmission and even took the time to show me the parts and why exactly they failed when I came to pick it up. I can not recommend this business enough Jason had my transmission out, rebuilt, and back in less than a week, it shifts better than it ever has. Quality parts, quality work, and they stand behind it. Lacy transmission will be the only transmission shop I will be taking my vehicles to from now on.

The service provided by Lacy Transmission was great! The work was done quickly and my car is driving like new after having a major transmission repair. Jason also took the time to look into my warranty options to try and save me some money which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Talked with Jason and he told me I could get an estimate on my transmission, came in and he did a test drive on my truck. Personally I thought I was having transmission problems. He was honest and gave me great news saying that I actually had a plugged catalytic converter. Would 100% recommend this place on integrity and a great diagnosis.

This was a great experience! Jason is very knowledgeable about diesel engines and at a very reasonable price (which is hard to find, diesel owners know what Im talking about). I will definitely bring my truck here again next time something goes wrong with it.

Jason and his team are amazing. We have 2 primary cars and 2 cars which belong to our college-age children. Each of our cars is a different make and Jason has worked on them all. He fixes what needs to be fixed. Hes honest and professional. His prices are always way below what the dealers charge. I have recommended him to many family and friends.

Found the problem but charged me $715 for a blown fuse and harness. Would not mind spending the cash if something serious was wrong. Charged me for the entire time the vehicle was at the garage.(dropped off at 8AM pulled into shop at 830am I left received call at 3:15pm telling me its ready but its now on the other side of town where he locked himself out) Got charged for 7.5 hours of labor at I believe 95 hour. $712 plus the $3 parts. Will not be returning to this shop. Only went due to good reviews.

Worst transmission shop Ive ever worked with. Sent my transmission to them and had it rebuilt, got it back after a week. Installed the unit and tried to test drive. The transmission only had 1st gear and reverse. Called lacy up to see how they wanted to handle the problem. They say it has to be in the wiring to the transmission. (now the transmission shifted fine when it was taken out, just cracked the case and was leaking) Fine, spent 8 hours tracing wiring, no problems found. Called them back, sent the whole truck to them. After 4 weeks and the entrie world of explanations why it was in the wiring and not there transmission, I had the truck towed back to me and my shop. I bought a reman transmission from jasper and installed it. Truck drives and shifts great. Lacy still says to problem was wiring and not the transmission.(like i wanted to spend $3000 more dollars to say they were wrong) After over a month (a lost customer to me ) and $1900 they would not refund, I would not recommend any one using this shop. Thanks and beware. 7-27-16
