Reed at the front was amazing! He was very kind, courteous, and patient with all of the clients on what looked to be a very busy afternoon. The car detail staff was great and worked efficiently to get my rental ready. The only suggestion I would offer is that maybe corporate update the software to make the rental process easier for Reed and the guys.

My mom rented a car from here for our ride to Florida and they have amazing service! The first car they gave me didn’t have enough space but they gladly switched it out for a bigger one and even cleaned it! The man at the front desk is very fast working while making sure your satisfied! I will definitely he telling all my friends and family and I will be back fro another car from here on my next vacation!

This place was a absolute nightmare. Our pickup time was 10 am upon arriving to pick the vehicle we found out from a note on the desk that they moved locations. We never received any notification at all that the facility moved prior to that. When we tried to call Avis the phones hadn’t been connected yet so we had no way of contacting the location. When we finally arrived at the location it was a absolute dump, there were businesses cards and trash laying on the floor from the previous business that had never been cleaned. There was only one employee at the location and he was absolutely lost with no help. When expressed our concerns to him and he told us that the manager would be there the following day and that we could speak with him. The vehicle we got was filthy on the inside and out. The employee did spray off the car but the front had grease all over it, the inside was covered in cigarette ashes, hair, dirt and smelt like urine. There was no tag on the vehicle but a paper plate taped to the back windshield and the registration for the vehicle expired 3 weeks prior. We called customer service and told them. So when I arrived at Avis the following morning at 9:45 to return the vehicle at 10 am no one was there. The manager pulled in erratically and at 10:18 got out of his car and looked lost. He strolled to the front door while there was a line of us standing outside and told us he’d been there prior but had to run down the road real quick which was a lie because I had been there since 9:45. The manager got on the computer and was lost and told the guy in front of me that had a reservation that he didn’t have any vehicles to give him and then asked if anyone had a return. & by the way his appearance was not one that you would expect of a manager his pant were bellow his butt and his boxers were showing the entire time. When I told him that I had a return he told the guy in front of me that he could have my car and asked me the miles. I told him I didn’t know so he walked out got the miles and then printed me a receipt and told me that he was too busy to discuss my issues right now. Horrible place, horrible environment and horrible management!

This was my first experience renting a car from this location and through AVIS. I travel for work and now that Covid restrictions have lifted, renting a car is a very important logistic of my job. I was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. The staff was super friendly, professional, and took care of me. Awesome service!

I made a reservation for 9:30 pick up, called and confirmed my reservation and to see if they offered pick up. Since they did not, my husband left work and when we walked in, the lights were off and some girl was walking in with Bojangles looking like she just rolled out of bed while another gentleman looked like he had a rough night while slouched over in a chair. We were told there were no rental cars available and she didn’t know when any would be back and she was unable to call anyone. Very unhelpful, very unprofessional and an all around terrible experience. There is a rental car shortage, but I really felt like we were interrupting her breakfast.

The car rental it self was fine. However, the representatives attitude I spoke with was very rude. He hung up on me while I was talking and I had to call back several times to get him to answer. Terrible customer service experience! It is NOT okay to hang up on your customers or over talk them or even make smart remarks to them! They also lied and said I stated I had to hold the funds because I did not have them which is not true! I was charged the same day for the rental amount with NO issues...so I’ll also be checking to make sure I was not overcharged! They need customer service training!

Worst experience ever, they gave a wet car so I couldnt see the glass was damage, they tried to charge this to me, be careful they will make you sign papers witought seen hte car, then will charge you to fix any damage the car already had, Manager is the worst, STAY AWAY from this people.

Horrible Avis location. The car was filthy, with dirty masks and tissues littering the interior. When asked about the cars condition, the portly guy said that we should have been there on time to get a clean car (we were 20 minutes past our reservation time). Then he said it would take 20 or 30 minutes before he could clean it. Car had huge dents, and when asked to come look at the vehicles condition he told me to get someone else to do it. Horrible experience and a POS person in charge! A formal complaint has been filed!

Worst car rental experience of my life. Made reservation for 9am and they showed up at 10am to open. Reserved a mini van and they only had 2 sedans. I mean why allow the reservation if you dont have the vehicle?!? They cost me a half a day of my vacation before I found another car at a competitor. Dont take my word for it, feel free to read the other reviews and dont make the same mistake I did. NEVER AGAIN!

I’m adding a review to offer newer insight. I think it’s right to set a better expectation. I asked my corporate travel team to book my car pickup here and was really hesitant after I read reviews for what I was going to walk into, but this location has recently undergone a management and ownership switch and was EXCELLENT. Very personable and kind. Cars were clean and had great options. Will definitely be using again.

The lady here was the absolute rudest person I’ve had to deal with. Refused to give me the number for customer service after denying me my prepaid rental. She said this avis location doesn’t have a customer service number and to call the number on my emailed receipt. When I showed her that the number she referred to was actually this local branch she then said there is nothing I can do for you. Now I’m sitting here with child in tow during a pandemic stick at this location and no customer service to talk to. I’m an avid preferred member with over 60 days of rentals this year alone. Avis will never get another dollar from me or any of my businessesPs there is a pandemic going on.. the mall rule led and rock hill ordinance says wear a mask.. don’t be a maskhole. Yeah they don’t wear masks here at Avis

I have rented vehicles through Avis for two years now, and never had a problem with them. That is, until I reserved a vehicle from the Rock Hill location and went to pick up my rental.Not only did the owner, Dwayne Deans, not have the vehicle (nor notify me that the vehicle was not in his inventory) he did absolutely nothing to help me procure another vehicle. And in the middle of conversation with me he answered a phone call and didnt so much as acknowledge my existence while he attempted to charge me full price for another rental when I had already pre-paid for the one he did not have.The only reason I am giving this two stars is because of his employee, Marcus, who not only drove me to another Avis location but stayed to make sure I got the vehicle I paid for and wasnt charged again. I would only ever go to this location to rent a vehicle if Marcus was there. If Dwayne Deans is there, expect nothing but terrible customer service from a rude and uncaring individual who doesnt care about his customers in the slightest, and will do nothing to help you.

I rent here 2-3 times a month and Frank is always professional and courteous. He has even called me to remind me to fill up with gas when I forget to top off the tank. Overall great experience.

Called to reserve a car to FL and the owner of this location as he called himself stated it doesnt matter what the national reservation line said or the location in FL. Its final decision to rent a car our not. I guess he owns every single car on the lot. Theres three Enterprises in Rock Hill with a lot better customer service and cheaper rates.

I rented the car for a week. I did not need it for a week. I needed it four (4 days). I try to turn it back in and I was told that I would only get 8 dollar credit. I thought that was unfair. I kept the car for the rest of the time. I was told by headquarter that I could turn it in if I did not need it. I was disappointed in this transaction.

I’ve truthfully never had a worse experience than with Dwayne Deans. I made a reservation and when I showed up for my car, there were no cars for me. When I asked if he could look up my reservation, he couldn’t find it in his paperwork even though I had the confirmation number online. Wasted 2 hours of my life in line.

This company is worst place to rent a car from, very unprofessional and very deceitful. They card my card a total of 4 times with only 1 being Authorized. I called to resolve situation and was hung up on 5 didnt times and never called back. This company is one of many reasons American will never be great again. Companies like this one show how deceitful and untrustworthy our country is. Companies like Avis Car Rental are whats wrong with America. The only reason I gave them 1 star was so i could write about my experience and tell how they do business. Worst experience ever renting a car!

It is pretty bad when even the owner of this office hangs up on you. After 2 phone calls to that office and 3 to corporate problem finally taken care of. That office has terrible customer service. Beware!
