Was on vacation and my 8 year old son needed a haircut. He has thick, somewhat coarse hair. Cassandra spent well over 30 minutes cutting and styling his hair. She did a phenomenal job! The best hair cut he has ever had!!! Highly recommend!

Sam is my new barber. It’s a really nerve-wrecking feeling to try a new barber but I feel confident that all the barbers in this shop would give a great cut. The barber that I’ve been going to for years was all the way in Ballantyne and I could tell he just didn’t care anymore. I am so relieved that I found Sam. He’s very professional and gives a great cut. He also helped clean up the mess that my former barber left.

Johnathan Rodriguez is BEAST! His fades are on point and his cuts are fire too! He has been cutting my sons hair for the last six months and everyone always compliments my son on his cuts. Honestly, everyone I’ve seen leave that shop has a really nice clean cut. Hands down the best shop in the area!

The cut was just the way I wanted it, he communicated what he was going to do and started out longer in case I didn’t like it. We love Aaliyah at Good Hair Barber! It took several failed attempts at other places to finally find someone who does an AMAZING job on my toddler’s fine hair. We were so impressed with the how well she did on my son that my husband started going to her as well. Aaliyah takes her time to make their hair look its best and is patient with little ones. We love the vibe and friendliness of everyone here.

I love that Dre has great customer service skills. He was welcoming and polite. It’s hard to find someone who does good work and has good customer service skills. They also follow safety measures for Covid. My son will be returning for a return cut. And we are located in Charlotte. Not a long drive but it’s worth it.

Every time I show up to my appointment, I’m greeted by the entire GH staff, led by Dre. The lounge is clean, everybody is busy and happy, and just a great overall experience. I recently started going to Aaliyah and I won’t go to anyone else. She is professional, great at what she does, and always makes me look fresh when I’m done. She cuts and textures the top while giving me a great fade on the sides. You will definitely be happy if you schedule with her!

Went in for a cut from Demetrius after looking at his instagram profile. Shop itself was good location wise, etc.I asked for a taper with a hard part - pretty standard these days. The taper and cut itself was mediocre, but acceptable, but the part is so bad. I have been wearing a hat the last 3 days to get me through our family pictures next week (I guess I will only stand on one side so you cant see the part) then am planning on buzzing my head.I would go back but consider another barber. I watched one of the other guys do two cuts and he did a good job on both of them.

I was beyond happy and satisfied with the awesome job that Sam did!! He was very friendly and payed back. I came in today with just a idea of what I was wanting (since I’ve had the same hair style for the last 5 years) and Sam brought it to fruition and made it perfect. Not to mention that beard trim was on point. He took his time and put in effort in making sure it was what I wanted. Sad to say I’m moving to Cali but I’m 100% sure I know who and where I’m gonna get my cut when I come back and that’s Sam!

First time using Good Hair. Got the most amazingly stylish cut from Aaliegha. She listened to my suggestions, added her own as she evaluated (by touching and combing) my hair . She styled it as she cut and explained why she was doing what. I have zero remorse!! I love this cut. It is easy to maintain, super for me as I hate to spend a lot of time with product,tools, and fuss. Woke up this morning feeling happy and full of joy.... these days that isnt easy but, I look so beautiful in this hair I can not even get in a bad mood...It fits my personality and my husband continues to complements me endlessly. I have never felt like this about a cut in my life. Not kidding you right now!!!! She also cut my husbands hair and we BOTH love it. How about that!!! Top tier barbershop! Being new to the state this is one of the difficult task having a decent barber, keep in mind i said DECENT. Walked in on a Saturday at 9 am and got exceptional service thanks to Sam. Happy to have turned down previous location. Good vibes, nice location, with great service. Couldnt ask for anything else. I just moved to South Carolina from CT. Before CT I grew up in NYC so I was used to that New York quality with great barbers, great service, and leaving looking like a new man. Went to good hair barber lounge and sat with Sammy, it was top notch with that nyc quality, service and experience. Would definitely recommend this barbershop and especially Sammy if you are looking to walk out feeling and looking like a million bucks. I took my 6yr old son to get a haircut. We booked an online appointment with Ty . This was our first time in the shop and due to the virus i had to leave him and wait outside. I felt comfortable with him in her hands. He came out looking like a totally different kid. He hasnt stopped talking about her and how he loved the shop. Definitely the new go to place.

Sam @ Good Hair, said he was new to the shop and so was I, but I figured Id give him a try and thats rare for me, because im very particular on who does my shape-up, but he definitely gained a new client and showed me he had been doing this for awhile! Absolutely amazing experience here. It was my first visit and definitely not my last. I had Demetrius cut my hair, and it’s the best cut I’ve had my whole life. I felt bad because I didn’t give him much to go on as far as the style I wanted, but I have never really had a style for my hair before. My son and I have been customers of Good Hair for almost 2 years now. Great atmosphere. Professional. Genuine good people. We both have Demetrius as our barber. We couldn’t be more satisfied with his skills. My son is a college student and extremely picky with his appearance. He jumped around a lot with different stylists and came across Demetrius. He’s super happy with him and actually convinced me to go. Again, we couldn’t be happier with his services. I think we both agree that Demetrius is the best stylist we’ve ever encountered and that’s not taking away from the other barbers there. I’ve watched them all and they do a superb job! As soon as you walk into the door you are welcomed to Good Hair. Demetrius has been cutting my hair for a year and half now and I wouldn’t trust anybody else. There is only one person to go to in Rock Hill for a fade and that’s Demetrius. He gives great advice on hair styles and what would look good or maybe not as well depending on the way your hair lays. Good Hair has great barbers, but even better people! If you need a haircut go see them!
