Chris is a breath of fresh air to speak to about the potential repairs to my BMW 650i. There were no bad surprises: the work was excellent and he caught a couple of things and fixed them with no fuss or big add on charge. Its so nice to have a local place to trust with my Boxster so I dont have 50 minutes to far side of Charlotte, I can now get excellent work done right here in Rock Hill. Dont go unless you want to be told what a POS the 5 series BMW is. I went there to drop some $$$ for service and all they could talk about is how good the 3 & 7 series is and the 5 series is basically a throwaway car. They said you cannot do engine work on them so if you have internal engine problems, you have to buy and entire new motor. Then I had to listen to them over and over again badmouth southerners and how Nobody down here takes care of their car Well maybe they do they just dont let you take care of their cars for good reason. I would not recommend this establishment.

8/16/2021We would like to convey our experience with European Automasters.We were driving from Roanoke, VA to Gainesville, Fl. The day before our departure from Roanoke, coil #3 of our XC70 2010 Volvo was replaced.When we reached Charlotte NC, the car started, once again, to vibrate. The vibration got worse, and we stopped at Rock Hill for help.We were lucky to call European Automaster. Given our circumstances, Mr. Chris was willing to see us immediately.The diagnosis was quick. Coil #3 had again failed. We learn then that the previous coil had been manufactured in China. He replaced it with a coil manufactured in Germany. My name is Nelson, I have a E350 2013 Mercedes-Benz. I’ve been wanting to get an oil change for a while on the car. Contacted The dealership and was waiting to hear back with no luck. I came across European automasters online and decided to give them a try. I feel it was the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m originally from NY and one of the things I felt that I lost when I moved down south was a good, trust worthy mechanic. Needless to say I no longer feel that way. My opinion the prices are great, the work is done properly and they take their time to explain things to you. After picking the car up I spent probably 2 hours there just talking to Chris about the car and life. It was very refreshing and delightful. I walked away feeling like I made a new friend and I knew I found my mechanic. Not only will they be doing all the work and service on my benz, but I will bring my other 2 cars there as well. I never leave reviews but after my experience here I promised him I absolutely would leave one. Brought in a Volkswagen Jetta 2009 that I had just purchased from a private party (big mistake). I took it to a mechanic and got what I thought was a high estimate on issues with the car. So I brought it here for a second opinion and the results were the same. The car had many serious issues that needed to be addressed. He took the time to send videos and photos of each issue and reviewed them with me 1 on 1. So basically I was sold a lemon. He advised me that the cost of repair was around the value of the car and best case was to trade it in or to get my money back from seller (private party). I would highly recommend his service and I will be using his service from now on.

These people are really into European Cars. Chris has been working on BMWs and Volvos since he was 12 years old. They have sources for parts from Germany. The difference between German parts and Chinese parts is shocking when you look at parts side by side. Also, the actual German parts are not necessarily more expensive, but they are much better.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, no pressure sales tactics. Truthfull and honest reps. Got a good deal on a nice clean used car. No hassle buying ! Would highly recomend !

European Automaster is the best vehicle mechanics shop and retailer youll find in Rock Hill, SC and allow me to tell you why. I originally brought my 2001 Volvo (paid a friend $500 for it) to Mr. Chris at European Automaster and asked him to tell me what needed to be replaced for a working AC. While telling me of the price to fix the AC (more than what i paid for the car, itself), he also informed me that I needed new tires and other repairs that would come with a older car. Instead of putting even more money into a a dying car, he suggested a car he had on his lot, a 2007 Toyota Yaris. This car came with brand new tires, cold and working AC, and a guaranteed inspection from European Automaster. The decision was left ultimately up to me but I was guided by Mr. Chris in the areas that I was ignorant. He gave a true and trustworthy recommendation instead of just taking the money I was offering to fix my original car. Fast forward about a year later, I just took my Toyota Yaris back to European Automaster for a slight repair, 20,000 miles after I bought it. the bill was less than $100 and Mr. Chris also informed me of upcoming repairs I should expect in the future. The 2007 Toyota Yaris I purchased from European Automaster has keep me on the road since I drove it out of the parking lot and I have not had any problems at all. Additionally, should a mechanics question ever arise, I know I can call European Automaster and get an intelligent answer with my best interest in mind. Youre not going to find a more honest and experienced business in South Carolina.
