Tangles is the best place to go to in Rochester.I have Dominique do my hair and everytime it comes out perfect.They have a great staff of people.I will continue to use tangles.Thank You.

I Took my 5 yr old son for a haircut today. He does not like getting haircuts. Dominique was amazing with him. He was crying at first so several of the staff members stepped in to make it fun with treats. He was happy as a clam a few minutes in. Thank you ladies. We will be back.

I have never been treated so well then when I come in to Tangles Salon. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and remember details about your life that make you feel special, like family. René, the world’s best nail tech (In my opinion), is full of zeal, endless ideas and treats her folks like royalty. If you are look for a new place to get your hair or nails done, stop doing research and pick up the phone to call Tangles!

I had a great experience getting my hair done by Lorraine!! She is very knowledgeable and had great ideas for my hair. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend it!!

I went in for a basic trim. Bre did an amazing job on my hair. She was so relaxing that I almost took a nap while she was styling my hair. I highly recommend her

April and Kathy are fabulous stylist and if I was rating them it would be a 10! But after my last visit I will never go back. I recently went there for a perm. My appointment was scheduled with Nikki, they adjusted it to another stylist “the assistant” without notifying me prior to my arrival . After speaking to Nikki and her reassurance I gave it a try. Everything seemed to go well. But by the time I drove home a big chunk of hair in the front was flat. I drove back to show them my hair and get reassurance that they would fix it after the waiting period. The said yes but while I was there a couple of the stylist accused me of doing something to my hair. When I went back to get my hair fixed, the assistant said it looked fine when I said I had extra hair product in my hair she rolled her eyes at me and made a sarcastic remark. I was highly offended with the customer service. I left and went to a different a salon to fix their mistake. All the previous comments praise this salon, that may be true for the basic salon services - haircuts, but for anything else I would NOT recommend this salon!

Everyone was super friendly. My hair looks great. My stylist really listened to what I wanted. My only disappointment was with muy pedicure, they did a great job but they dont have the massage chairs Ive gotten use to.

Nicky Gonzalez is my stylist and is a miracle worker! Knowledgeable, and I always love my hair! René Rodriguez is my nail artiste and theres no way to express how good she is! I always enjoy my time there. The staff is friendly and fun, and the atmosphere and decor make it a great place to pamper yourself!

First time here. Always heard great things about this place. I had a hair cut by Dominique Kester. Shes was awesome strongly suggest to request her for cuts and colors. I know she also does waxing. And after your fifth appointment her they give you 25% off😊They have nail stylist too!

Its been almost a year since my friend and I decided to go there for pedicures, simply because it was close to both our homes. It was such an ...odd... experience. The nail techs were nice enough. But they are in this little room. There is no separate dispensary, but a sink in the middle of the room. So while we were trying to pick out polish (located above the sink) they were trying to use the sink to finish with previous clients. There was nowhere for us to sit in the back area while we waited which was awkward.Unlike everywhere else I have ever been for a pedicure, the techs performed the service at their stations. Yes, at their tables. It was physically awkward trying to get my feet up and down into her lap.The women were pleasant enough. However, one of them actually whipped out and ate a piece of fruit (a plum?) AT HER STATION while my friends nails were drying. Additionally, she took at least one cell phone call during the service.Also odd to me was that we were asked to pay the techs directly and the price was higher than what I had been told when I had called. (No, I had no special services like nail art or french polish.)It was the most bizarre salon experience I have ever had. My first job was in a salon. My mother has been in the business for 40+ years as a salon owner and hairstylist. My sister is a professional nail tech. So while I can only comment on the one service I received (and not makeup, skin or hair services), I know enough about the business to know that it was unusual. And that I would not go back.

Every provider is great! Waxing, manis, pedis, microblading, lashes, cut color style, I leave here always pleased with my services. Professional staff, very clean salon, I always feel loved and cared for!

The hairdresser did an excellent job of cutting my 15 month olds hair. She was quick which is fantastic as time is of the utmost importance with such a little one.FYI.... its cash only. Which is a downside for me.

Have been going to Tangles for years. That in it self says alot. All the staff is friendly beverages are always available and offered. Spa services offered, Manicures. Staff always listens and offers suggestions. Experiences have always been pleasant. Salon is always clean.

The people there were so nice and they listened to everything I had to say. My stylist is also very funny and understanding.

Loved the look of my daughters eyelashes that Katie Nesbitt did today. The salon is very nice and bigger than I expected. It is a full service salon.

April is fantastic. I have called Tangles twice, once with about 20 minutes notice, and once with 24 hours notice, April has snuck me in to her already jam packed schedule and saved my life (and my hair) twice!! So incredibly grateful for that beauty!

I went there for a gel mani. When I arrived, no one could locate my nail tech, she had actually been outside smoking. I had to ask her to sanitize the station and wash her hands prior to working on me. I informed her that I like squoval shaped nails and ended up with some squoval and some coffin shaped. I asked for a gel overlay, I ended up with regular gel polish instead. Not once was there a time in my manicure was I asked to wash my hands to remove the particles from filing and buffing. Not to mention, my gel polish started to lift on several nails the very next day. I will not be returning. Highly disappointed.

This place never fails me. Thank you so much Dom. My haircut is turning heads.

I went to get my hair cut/ styled on a whim, right before I left for vacation. I normally go see Nikki but she wasnt available. I asked if they had a stylist available who can style thick curly/wavy hair, & went with the friendly receptionists recommendation of Tiffiny. I LOVE what she did, she did a great job, had confidence that a specific style would work well with me (and obviously it did because I am raving about it in this review). I am definitely going back to here, and recommending my 2 sisters to go her. She has a wonderful friendly personality and i was glad to hear she did other esthetics services as well. I will seeing her again for a pedicure in the future :) I highly recommend Tiffiny for anyone who has thick curly hair like I do. :). (Tiffiny if you see this review, Thank you!)
